Good location, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, and best of all, very helpful staffs! They know English and it was easy talking to them. They helped us catch the bus for our tour when we were late (as the didi ride left us off on the wrong destination). We also left one of our phones on the bus and they let us borrow scooter so we can catch the bus quickly to retrieve the phone. Thank you! We really had a pleasant stay!

I stayed in this hostel for two nights and I didn't regret it. The location is quite strategic, not so far away from the west street. You can rent a bike if you don't feel like to take a walk. There is also a bus stop near it, to take you around the city. The staffs are quite helpful. There are also washing macines in the roof top that the guests can use for free. They don't have dryer machines though, but it's ok, coz you can hang your clothes on the roof top and let the wind dries them. The downside is they don't have lift, so you have to take the staircase if you get rooms in the upper floors. It sucks when you get room in the 5th floor, just like me. Especially if you're taking your suitcase with you. That's so much exercises. But overall, the hostel is still lovely. The view in its backyard is stunning. You can swimm in the swimming pool, or just enjoying the vibes. Becareful with the mosquitos in the backyard though, there were so many of them at night.
Excellent location if you are looking for something not located right in the heart but just a 10 minute bike ride away from the center. Yangshuo is not big anyways so doesn’t take long to get to the center. Great staff, the room I was in was huge with and quiet. Of course not the cleanest but in all the corners and floors, but for the price and facilities is 100% worth it.

Was a very comfortable stay, westerner friendly and had plenty of internationals staying. Comfortable beds and pretty spot to sit outside. Was okay walking to and from the town, I did it all the time took about 20 minutes. Would start again

“Amazing karst landscape sunrise views”
The only downside of this hotel is 5+ floors of no elevator...so just ask for a room close to the ground floor if needed. And it's a 30 minute walk to popular West Street where hordes of tourists descend nightly. So don't stay if you're a party-hopper West Street type tourist, right? Otherwise - we LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel: a) Perfect value-for-money for that Million Yuan karst landscape morning sunrise view in the morning. b) Free rooftop laundry (rooftop closes at 12 midnight) - no free breakfast but free drinking water and load your food or heat in the microwave at the common kitchen. Pay for coffee, cold beers and drinks at the front lobby. c) there's a Jane's restaurant a minute away run by an English speaking lady...and lots of other eateries just up the road. The walking time to the Arch where the main street almost begins is 20-30 minutes. d) e-scooter rental - best is the one about 100m across the road that only asks 30 Yuan (use your translator app to ask for a new fully charged e-scooter and make sure you ask to charge it up - back by 8pm); as the one beside the hotel now asks for a 200 RMB security deposit from foreigners. Don't even bother with that, right? Now - the front-lobby staff is an English-speaking treasure trove of local knowledge. I got the BEST INSIDER information on overriding my Maps.me nav app to get to the famous Fuli ancient bridge and scooting along the Yulong bridge side road...where we stopped at tourist/Gen Z centric Tea Cozy for that perfect near-sunset mirror landscape of the range on their ponds. e) Getting to/from the hotel - did you know you can pre-book Didi in advance? Again - the wonderful Gen Z staff showed me HOW, for our 630am Didi ride for a 50-minute ride to Yangshuo high-speed train station. Btw, you can slurp one last taste of Guilin-famous 'mifen' local noodles at the station entrance, just to the right as you face the station. We love Yangshuo's "small-city" vibe, we love Yangshuo Sudder Street Guesthouse (ask the staff for the Chinese name) - hope we get to stay again one day.
