1. Service The service provided by the front desk and room-related staff was friendly and appropriate for a 5-star establishment. The attitude of the cleaning staff was also kind and satisfactory. However, the attitude of the wellness center staff was not satisfactory. When we visited, the indoor pool was under construction, which created a chaotic atmosphere, and the service from the aqua calming staff particularly seemed to have room for improvement. 2. Cleanliness of Accommodation The room, including the shower, was very clean and pleasant. Despite being an older hotel, it was overall clean and nice. However, the condition of the wooden floor by the window in the room seemed in need of attention. Although it is not directly related to cleanliness, it may not look visually appealing. 3. Satisfaction Relative to Price Overall satisfaction relative to the price was very high. For those looking for a quiet Jeju trip while walking through the forest, this hotel offers the best value compared to other beachfront hotels that have a market-like atmosphere. Amenities 3-1 - Restaurant Breakfast The breakfast was generally good. The restaurant's atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The view, with many trees visible through the window, was excellent. There were no complaints regarding the price. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the pho was not tasty, lacking in flavor. The coffee was also not excellent. A big difference can be made if the breakfast coffee is good, but I believe the coffee quality here is not at the level of a 5-star hotel breakfast. Even if the variety is reduced, it would be nice to be served a high-quality cup of drip coffee. There was no honey or maple syrup besides sugar. The bakery and side dishes were neat and appropriate in level. Amenities 3-2 - Swimming Pool The indoor pool was not available due to construction, but the outdoor pool was excellent. There are almost no outdoor pools at room temperature in Korea, so it was nice to experience one. The water quality and feel were very good. When I swam, the water tasted like Samda Water. It felt like an optimal outdoor pool for Nordic-style Nordic saunas. The hot tub was also very nice. During our 2-night, 3-day stay, the jacuzzi bubbles were provided for all days except the first. The warm jacuzzi bubbles outdoors in the windy March Jeju cold air were very pleasant. I was satisfied with the pool size, water quality, turbidity, and depth. One of the reasons for choosing WE Hotel was its proximity to Hallasan Yeongsil, but because of the outdoor pool that offers cold baths in the Wim Hof style, I plan to visit again. Amenities 3-3 - Outdoor Swimming Pool Sauna The sauna itself was spacious, and the interior design was fairly good, but the temperature was too low. It did not fit the purpose of a dry sauna at all. I believe this needs to be addressed. Since the sauna is located right next to the outdoor pool, it is an optimal situation for a Nordic-style sauna, yet it seems the hotel does not operate it according to its original purpose. After sauna use, it is very important to have a cooling bath, and currently, there are no hotels in the country with a natural breeze cooling bath and outdoor pool. It was disappointing that WE Hotel seems unable to properly promote or operate its good system. Additionally, the sauna was designed with large windows to see the pool and garden, but the windows were very dirty, making it difficult to see outside. It was very disappointing not to be able to see out of the sauna. Amenities 3-4 - Aqua Calming Pool There was continuous crackling noise from the speakers playing music underwater, making it impossible to concentrate. It seems to need repair. Additionally, if possible, it would be good to inform the gender of the aqua calming staff when making the reservation. If male customers have male staff and female customers have female staff, it would be better (especially for couples). The aqua calming program itself was not satisfactory at all. Amenities 3-5 - Surrounding Forest Walking Paths It was very nice and excellent. We encountered deer during our walk. The area was spacious, quiet, and had benches at regular intervals, which was good. There was also a pond in the forest below the hotel. I thought it would be even better if there were name tags for the trees placed along the paths. I would want to return just because of the forest walking paths. 4. Hotel Location Whether day or night, the quietness was wonderful. It is the perfect hotel to feel the quiet forests of Jeju, free from surrounding noise or light pollution. Since we used a rental car, there was no inconvenience in accessing Camellia Hill or Jungmun Seogwipo.
