"Everyone should try the capsule hotel experience at least one night when visiting Japan. So did I and picked this hotel based on the reviews on Agoda and couldn't be happier! The hotel is located in a 8 story building in Kabukicho, Shinjuku and it's very easy to get there. The reception is in floor 3, a common area for men & women with kitchen, restaurants, vending machines and internet café is located in floor 4. Floor 5 is used for day use capsules while the night capsules for men are located in floors 6 & 7. Women can stay in floor 8, separated from men. Staff was super nice and welcoming (contrary to some opinions here), they tried to help me from the very beginning and the people I talked to spoke fairly good English. Although customers are assigned a small locker with enough space to leave the clothes in a changing room, bigger luggage can be stored on some shelves present in both the changing room and in front of the reception. Don't be scared of leaving your items there, this is Japan and everybody respects your belongings. The place is clean and the capsule is much bigger than pictured!! Inside there is a control panel for the light, alarm, air conditioner and television, a power socket and a mirror along with the pillow and a duvet. All capsules have a curtain than can be opened/closed for privacy and but beware that some noises can come inside if other guests speak loudly (usually don't). The hotel also has a traditional Japanese bath (onsen) and sauna. Don't forget to try it before you leave! Checkout time is at 10 am and luggage cannot be stored after checking out. I had a great experience at Shinjuku Kuyakusho-mae Capsule Hotel and will definitely come back in my next trip to Tokyo."

"I have no expectation at all before check-in, because it shows the size of the room is extremely small in comparison with my past stay in other tokyo hotels. Nevertheless, its design and room setting were perfectly matching for my requirement, so I would definitely stay there again if I visit Tokyo shortly in future! And I would also definitely recommend it to my friends! BTW, the hotel staffs are also nice! Including cleaning staffs and the staffs at reception! "

"I travel to Tokyo every few months for business. This is the perfect hotel for that. Location is central, close to Ginza, Akihara, Tokyo station and only 15min to Shinjuku, 25 min to Shibuya. One step away from the metro station exit. Direct train from Haneda or Narita. Room is small but enough space (so do the other hotels in Tokyo), clean and modern. Bed and comforter is very comfy during the cold nights. Pillows are not like the western type that I know of (fluffy and kinna thick), they r very thin. But I get used to them. They provide enough amenities that you don't have to bring anything from home. Toothbrush, comb, body sponge, hairband are provided. Hairdryer, electric kettle with coffee and tea. They have the Japanese robe, yukata that I can use to sleep. So I don't normally bring pj. "

"The room was quite small, it is only 11sqm so we as an asian couple who has 2 medium size luggages cannot open our 2 luggages at the same time but you can put the luggages under the bed in case you dont need to use them in order to have more room to walk. The room was superb clean and the hotel provide necessary amenities. The location is great (only about 300-500m from JR otsuka station) and the JR Otsuka station is located in Ikebukuro neighborhood so you can walk directly back from Ikebukuro (takes about 15-20minutes) and there are many budget restaurants and convenient stores around the hotel. We will stay over at this hotel next time we have a trip to Tokyo "

"I traveled with a friend and this place was a great and affordable option to stay in Tokyo that saved us hundreds from regular hotel costs. For longer than 1 night stays I recommend getting the private rooms, there are 2 on each floor. They come with a private space (note the walls do not go to the ceiling, it is not sound proof and the doors do not lock) that has a desk and a locker that locks (carry on luggage can fit in here). Each sleeping floor has a toilet room with multiple toilets and some sinks that were hidden behind some curtains with soap. You have to go to another floor for shower and common rooms (to talk etc). The place is really nice and clean, they provide lots of amenities like toothbrush and soaps so they are great for solo travelers and group travelers (that dont mind being separated) that are looking for good value without having to really compromise on living quality. I do not recommend this for couples as males and females are separated at all times."

"Got a single, smoking room. Very nice room no complaints. My first time in Japan and this business hotel is located near a major train station, Nippori Station. Very convenient to travel to just about anywhere in Tokyo and to and from Narita Airport. Might be confusing at first to use their train and metro but then I have my best friend with me which is Google Maps and Japan Travel apps and it made my solo trip seamless when it comes to trasportation. Lot’s of restaurants nearby, convenient stores and drugstores that sells almost anything you might need. Yanaka Ginza, a quaint landmark in Tokyo is very near, about 15 mins walk from the hotel which I explored on the last day of my trip. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel because of its customer service and convenience, though as you have read in other reviews that the rooms are small, and it is, might need a lot of manuevering around for 2 people but over all it was good experience for me. Yes!! Just book this hotel 😀😀"

"Cons. It’s a single room and relatively small. The bathroom is cramped. Pros. Very convenient location. Right for the price. Though I just said the room is small, it was sufficient for me. It was also larger than I thought it would be. (I was fearing a capsule sized hotel room.). Close to the Shinagawa station (JR and Keikyu), it was easy to get to and from the hotel. All the amenities that you need (Toiletries, charging cables, tv, etc.), so you do not have to worry about packing all the small things. I prefer the other towers, but the price was 1/3 of what I found for the other rooms on a busy three day weekend. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was able to get by with simple English. I would recommend this hotel for the single traveler looking for a convenient location and not worried about having a large room. "
