"A regular visitor to Thailand I stayed in the excellent Ambassador Hotel on Soi 11off Sukhumvit this time. I say excellent because the standard is exactly how a €40+ per night 4 star in Bangkok should be.The Ambassador is a big property with many amenities. The reception area is huge and the staff are friendly and efficient. My luggage was taken from the Taxi and appeared in my room within minutes of me entering my room.The initial impression you get when you walk in to the reception area is 5 star but the rooms put it firmly back in the second division.They are not bad but quite basic. Everything works and at this price you can't ask for more. The WiFi is free and strong but does require constant re-entering of passwords which is annoying at first but you get used to it. Room cleaning is efficient and flexible. Long low timber ceiling corridors give it a kind of old cruise liner feel. Restaurants, Bars, Massage studio, Gym, Tailoring shops, health spa and several coffee shops are among it's many features. And of course that great location close to everything. Some of the best restaurants in Bangkok are here.The very expensive but superb El Gaucho Steakhouse,one of 2 in the area, is right next door. For Mexican try the Coyote across the road. And round the corner the Firehouse serves the best burgers in Bangkok. An Aussie Bar also across the road serves up the traditional full breakfast. I would recommend the Ambassador as a budget hotel without hesitation. "

"This hostel is newly built in 2018. Drop off at skytrain National Stadium stn and go straight around 700 meter. It is in central Bangkok. It is also near Hua Lum Pong railway station by taxi not over 100 thb. Breakfast is the most thing I like because it is not only bread and coffee, but there is rice and thai food for eat with rice. Delicious. Recommend to stay here"

"a very very very very very good hotel ibis nana is a very good hotel and comforts us like staying at my own home when we are staying at ibis nana, it is the world cup 2010.i ask the front desk staff can we watch world cup in the lobby television, the staff immediately says yes and tell us when the world cup is show on live, he will help to switch the television to the channel of the live world cup. that moment i felt that i just stay in a very warm home. also, the staff called jojoe is a hardworking staff. he has a good memory and know us well and treat us like his family members.he guided us the route to the famous big shopping tesco lotus and the naraya bag shop. he also help us to save money and guide us to have sightseeing on the bangkok view by tell us to take bts train instead of take taxi. he just like a master of the family. i hope this positive feedback to ibis nana will not make them proud. i hope they will serve the customers as same as before or better with some tiny things like in a family. i am sure that the next time i travel to bangkok, the hotel in bangkok i choose must be ibis nana."

"I haven't stayed in several hotels in Bangkok anyway, but these were the main features that I was looking for in a hotel. 1) Clean and fresh looking 2) Free fast wifi 3) Good breakfast 4) Friendly staff 5) Good location where it's happening for a Solo traveler like me. Boss suites has it all. It is just the best and is not too pricey. I wouldn't call it a 4 star but it is very clean and well maintained. Since it is a new hotel, the interior, decor etc are really attractive and well planned ( like the see through bathroom just in case u have one of those special guests :). It is still a good hotel for couples and families but not the location) The price through agoda was $41 as advertised but it will be $49 before checkout. That's Agoda not Boss suites. Most of the staff can speak fairly good English and extremely friendly. My experiences with the friendly staff are too many in the two days that I've stayed. There is not one improvement that I can suggest for this hotel and that is not an exaggeration. This definitely is value for money. You can rely on the staff for numerous things like free Tuk-Tuk (They got one for me even after hours), help with getting a cab, help with your room and facilities and also suggestions on going around in Bangkok at the reception. And ya, for all those fun loving, crazy young travelers like me , the hotel offers VIP massages for about 500 Baht. They are all professional masseurs but you can take the massage a litte further if you like to :)"

"I am going to book Dream hotel for the 4th time know!!!! This is the best affordable hotel in Bangkok to my opinion. The hotel is separated in 2 buildings. One hotel is without the swimming pool and the more expensive one (i guess) has the swimming pool. The buildings are 1 minut apart. I have stayed in both of the 2 buildings and they are absolutely great. The rooms are really fabulous and have great comfortable beds. With a nice blue lighting to switch on ore off. They have a perfect airo system. Breakfast is really perfect. You have International foods and Thai dishes. It is a great relaxing get away from Bangkok crowd, but with in 4 minutes you are in the nice crowded area. BTS station is very close, and also great dining area's. Or going out! I already recommended this hotel to two others and they were also very satisfied. So i Will book this for the 4th TIME!!!!!! "

"This was the final of the six places I stayed in Thailand whilst traveling around the country . I stayed here for nearly a week. This place is newly re-furnished and thrives because of its staff and location. The staff are great and look after you as if you are family. They give great information on both local and national places of interest and also drew me out maps on occasions on how to get to places! Spending the late evenings learning Thai at reception (well counting to 5) was an added bonus as well as the shopping/markets/ travelling advice that I was given. The rooms were clean and have lockers. The location is very central with a BTS station less than a minute walk away that takes you to major places as did the boat that I took. The hostel is also in a great location to get the BTS 40 minute train to/from the international airport. This was a great place to stay and if I come back to Bangkok again, this is where I will be based. Thank you."

"This is a great place to stay if you have a long layover in Bangkok and you do not want to stay in the airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very decent and a good value for your money. They also provide free transfers to and from the airport. Breakfast is included as well. The hotel is cute and quiet as it is located on a side road off a main road. We would stay here again if we needed an airport hotel in Bangkok."

"I liked the location. Usually I have stayed in the Banglamphu area, the backpacker place to stay. After staying there for the last 25 years whenever in Bangkok I felt like I needed a change so chose Siam area. I arrived very early, 7am, I was able to take a room at 9am. The staff at reception were not the friendliest, but at least I got my room early. The road in front of the hotel is very busy, but the room was quiet enough. The usual A/C. fridge, T.V. you expect at this price range. Wifi was good. I don't think the hotel had food, but around I found the best street food and cheap but great food restaurants I have found in Bangkok. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the massive MBK shopping mall and the impressive Siam Discovery Centre. I spent hours walking around these places until my feet were aching too much, how wonderful to have a foot massage later! Anyway, back to the hotel, it's a bit on the expensive side for me but is good value for money. For short stays in Bangkok with plenty of local shopping options I can recommend and will likely stay there again. Also close to the BTS Skytrain and Jim Thompson house."
