We reached the hotel after midnight due to flight delay & slow custom clearance at the airport. But upon reaching the hotel check-in was fast & smooth. We requested adjoining rooms for my children but no rooms available eventho we requested few months earlier during booking. So was quite disappointed. My room was decorated as it was our anniversary n there was a welcome drink & cake too. So that makes up for d disappointment. Room smelt damped the first nite but subsequent nites felt fresh n clean. Breakfast was ok. They have a spread of asian n western. D fruit juices tasted wierd though. Overall still fine. The hotel was right near the beach but we didn't have the time to spend there as we were always out for outdoor activities like to ubud for ATV, river rafting, jeep ride to Mt batur n other water activities at other beaches. The beach near hotel was dirty so nothing missing. The staffs were friendly & helpful. The massage spa was so-so only as the 1 hour was inclusive of my changing clothes. I had to request to on relaxing music when thy started massage if not it will be dead silent. I would rate it as 6/10 as I have other better massages in Spore/Malaysia . The hotel is very near the airport but airplane sound not noticeable . Maybe bcoz we were mostly out the whole day fm 8 am n back only after 10pm. Plus point it's convenient as we were not worry of d jam. Overall the stay was 7/10. Could have been better if the rooms were more modern. The decorations were quite dated but clean.
We were about 20 senior couples, friends from High school, got united there from USA, Australia and Bangladesh to celebrate 50 years of Friendship. The Resort has all the facilities you need during your stay and to celebrate the occasion. Ms. Sri from the Business/Marketing Department helped in all events and ensured convenience and comfort. Initially it was very difficult to connect the hotel management as no one was picking up phone call from abroad. Ms. Sri has been in touch later and was there always for us. Very good place, Lush outdoors by the ocean, large swimming pools, many Gazebos, Pavilions to accommodate many people for chit chat together. Good food as well. Staffs were good but could be more flexible in responding to any request from the guest. Management didn't want to allow orders/services in the Pool, Bar or Restaurant to be signed against Room which was a problem. Its not convenient to carry cash or credit card while you are on a holiday and are spending whole day in a resort. Anyway, It was a pleasant stay and I would recommend to stay here and request the management to address the issues raised here.
The Patra is located literally next to the airport, so it is quite out of the way for the hippest Bali areas like Kuta, Seminyak, or Canggu, so it's better if you rent a car or hire a driver. The complex is huge with 3 different swimming pools and several restaurants. The room is old school, and though mostly clean, some parts are a bit questionable (I had a rusty (?) part on the hottub. The staffs are also mostly very nice and helpful, however there is this lady at the reception desk that are just not ...helpful (to say the least). I was there for a wedding, and upon checkin, I was told the room that was arranged for me from the host was not yet available. And I also requested a double/queen bed, they said they can't accommodate that too. So I was given a completely different room. Then I was told to wait on the chairs on the lobby while they prepare the room (yes even the new room is not ready), and they will tell me when it's ready. I waited a long time, finally got up to ask the reception lady, and what do you know, the room is ready since I don't know when :) Maybe be more proactive and friendlier to your guests won't hurt :)
This is our first visit to Bali and after going through lot of similar properties I have gone ahead and booked my stay here. The location is a great advantage as it is near to Airport. We are impressed by facilities, spacious room, staff and amazing food. The staff is very friendly and always available to help guests. It has 3 pools, 2 bars and hotels, money exchange within hotel. The pool is very clean and is large enough to accommodate guests. The bathrooms are bit torn and might need a work, otherwise the rooms are large & spacious for families with 2 kids. The buffet breakfast, pool deck, Pool table, their evening events, live music & movie night for families keep kids and families engaged throughout the day. I highly recommend it for families who are visiting Bali and looking for accommodation near Kuta.

“First honeymoon in Bali”
On the first day, Thursday, June 5, '25, our plane arrived early at 9:00 AM WITA. My partner and I were given time to relax by the pool while our room was prepared; usually check-in is at 2:00 PM, but we were able to check in at 12:00 PM, a form of flexibility from the first 5-star hotel in Indonesia. The friendly and tactful staff quickly refilled the dirty mattress and drinks as soon as they ran out. On the second day, Friday, I was still amazed by the shuttle service, and every staff member greeted us. Breakfast could be served early or packed in breakfast boxes. On the third day, Saturday, even though I spent the whole day outside, the light rain created a lovely atmosphere, wrapped in our exotic room. On the last Sunday of our stay, we still had time to play in the pool in the morning before heading to the airport. The trip to the airport in the morning took only 5 minutes. Conclusion: The sunrise, sunset, mesmerizing sand and sea, nutritious and complete breakfast will make us want to return and always feel this is our "home." Thank you. Thank you.
