    “Reasonable price, good location, coziness”

The accommodation was inexpensive but very satisfying as a university student traveler. The shower facilities were a bit disappointing, but who cares! The old house brings a cozy feeling and charm, which comes with a bit of inconvenience as a package.

“Great location, worth it if the price is cheap”

Good: - location is great!!! Close to attractions, convenience stores, and transit. For the price, I think this cannot be beat - cool historical building. Being able to stay at a traditional ryokan for the price/location was a good experience. Big fan of tatami sleeping. The bad: - the bathrooms were severely lacking. This is the biggest issue. It’s not that they were small, that is fine and expected. There is a cloth cover on the toilet seat that cannot possibly be clean. We were so hesitant to use the bathrooms that, some days, we ended up waiting until we left the ryokan to just use a restroom elsewhere. I think the restrooms could use an update. Overall: great place to sleep and convenient to get around the city. Worth it for a budget traveler!

“Quiet and restful place feels with character! ”

This place has an excellent location with traditional tatami style rooms. The owner speaks good English and is very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend for the experience of staying in a traditional style old building with charm and good value on a budget. For me was very good and quiet place to sleep. Free tea or coffee in the morning.

“A place I want to visit again.”

It's just a short walk from Dawaramachi Station and fairly close to Asakusa. It's an old-style wooden building with a unique structure, and I was a bit surprised by how spacious it was. The owner speaks English well, so I believe there won't be any communication issues even if you can't speak Japanese. Each floor has a restroom and shower room, and the rooms are traditional tatami-style and very cozy. The price isn't expensive, and I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.
