I have experienced many hotels struggling post pandemic with poor maintenance and services. Swiss-Garden is not within that category. The hotel is immaculately clean, rooms are modern and up to date (almost), service by the staff are excellent and brekkie buffet is the best by far! WiFi is fairly fast and does not have any connectivity issues. The only irk I had was to access the designated hotel parking you need to check in first. I was lucky I came at a non-peak time so I can just park my car at the lobby, check-in and drive to the parking afters - can’t imagine if there is an event happening. The Sky-Garden was unfortunately closed for renovation so it means we have to come back. Was a little unlucky given a non-cleaned room but the staff on duty was quick (super) and placed me in the next available room (which was next door). The hotel is strategically placed by the river and next to Kg. Morten so I managed to run in the morning before brekkie. Loved my stay there and would definitely come back! Thank you!

My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful city view. The bed was very cozy, and the bathroom was spotless, stocked with high-quality toiletries. The staff was generally friendly and attentive. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the concierge was helpful with local recommendations. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of options, from fresh fruit to made-to-order omelets, catering to many tastes. However, I did experience a few issues that took away from the stay. The elevators were very slow, which was frustrating, especially during busy hours. I found myself waiting more than 20 minutes just to get down to the lobby. On top of that, breakfast was a bit chaotic. I had to wait nearly 15 minutes to be seated one morning, which wasn’t ideal when I had plans. Overall, this hotel has potential, but the slow elevators and breakfast seating delays made it feel less organized than I expected for a hotel at this level.”

Booked for 2 adults - me & my mom for a one-night staycation in Melaka. Check in was an easy process. Got an additional heritage fee of RM2 to be paid by cash when you check in - staff said the hotel has yet to implement RM3 fee at my time of stay. They have free car park at level 7 & 8, & premium parking in front of the hotel(rm10 per day, 9am to 9am next day. They only accept cashless payment) Room was clean, spacious & comfy <3 but i found there were quit a lot of strands of long hair that housekeeping had missed out while they were cleaning the bathroom so i hope they would pay more attention to this. Shower drains were also slow to drain water when we showered. The Shore Shopping Gallery is also connected via a door in the hotel lobby. Breakfast was decent - the spread we had was nasi lemak, roti paratha, english breakfast, fried noodles/mee goreng, assorted breads, cereal, salad, yoghurt, omelette, a choice of nyonya laksa & another broth i dont remember. There were also some vegetarian menus. It was bustling during the start of buffet at 7am but slowed down at around 8.30am & this is during weekdays. Some other reviews i've read said that you'll need to come in early to avoid the crowd but i think this may apply to weekends where everyone is on holiday. Special thanks to concierge staff that were very welcoming & patient when i asked about the differences of parking areas coz it's quite a lot to digest & choose on the spot hahaha

Each room is bright and clean with each balcony facing the Melaka River, the scenery at night is stunning. It is linked to the Shore mall with Shore Ocenarium, functioning eateries and within 1 km walk to Jonker Street by the riverside (nice to jog by riverside) or RM7-8 via grab. The staff is friendly and provided me with early checkin and late check out. Overall, I am very satisfied staying here because of the clean room (unlike Hatten dirty pillow case and toilet). I will definitely recommend anyone who woulld like to come to Melaka to this hotel.
