"I was travelling with my girlfriend to Bali and Sense Hotel turned out to be a great choice for our stay in Seminyak. The hotel is very well located in Seminyak. It is literally beside Mexicola and is a short walking distance away from the beach, the shops, Bambu Restaurant, Potato Head and W Resort. The room is pretty good with a big comfy bed and all the facilities you would expect from a 4-star hotel. The pool area is pleasant although it is a little bit small. We didn't try the spa. The breakfast is plentiful and of good quality but doesn't have as many options as other 4-star that I've been before. No biggie. It was good enough and we weren't there for french pastries. I recommend this hotel and would definitely return to Sense if I have the chance to go back to Seminyak."

"The Amalfi, as it's name suggests, is not typically Balinise in style. It is an exquisite boutique (recently renovated and refurbished) hotel just a laneway off Jalan Petitenget. It is Italian Provincial in style - all cool whites and meditteranean blues in decor, from the tiled floors to the 'distressed' and quaint designer touches - and such a welcome respite from the hustle, bustle and heat of Seminyak. . There are only three floors of guest rooms, again decorated in soft whites blue and gold. The entire ground floor is taken up by Reception, a bar, seating areas and dining areas. For some querky reason, the music being softly played throughout this ground floor is from the 1930 era. It is quite unexpected and quite delightful. When you walk into the ground floor, it quite simply takes your breath away. You immediately feel refreshed and relaxed. There is no garden - but the entire roof area houses lush planting, a small sparkling pool, a bar and chairs and tables where you can relax, eat and drink. The views from the roof are spectacular. Balinise volcanic hills on one side and the sea on the other. Both the sunrises and rhe sunsets are spectacular. The staff are all young beautuful Balinese who are very proud of their Hotel, and very keen to ensure every guest has the best stay. The kitchen preparesl and presents, very well, a selection of cool salads, sandwiches and more traditional Balinise dishes. For those wishing to sample a more cosmopolitan menu - Jalan Petitenget is a 2 minute stroll away. In short, the Amalfi is beautiful, unexpected and quite delightful. If you are looking for peace and tranquility - right in the middle of such a popular and hectic holiday destination, give it a try. You'll be pleased you did. "

"We love the hotel as it is brand new, so everything is clean and nice. We booked the direct pool access room but was given the room at opposite side which there is a walking alley in front of our room to pool for other guests to access between the pool and washroom, so it is not really a direct access and not good for privacy. I asked for a room change to the opposite row where it is direct access to pool and have more privacy. their respond was fast and helpful to my request. maybe it is not fully booked as it is still new so they could arrange the room change in a very short time. Hopefully they would keep up the standard and good work as it is even after they become famous to tourist later. The breakfast are very good, with wide variety of food choices. The location is a bit far from the main center of seminyak, about 20mins walking distance from seminyak and the roads were quite dark at night. They provide shuttle drop to seminyak hourly but do not pick up for return. the second day we got a motorcycle rental from the hotel at Rp70k/day which we think is reasonable and it only took about 10mins ride to reach seminyak and 20mins ride to reach ku de ta beach. so if you want a relax and quiet place, this is a very good choice. Hopefully they would keep up the standard and good work as it is even after they become famous to tourist later. and also don't increase the room rate. "

"This is the 2nd time my wife and I have stayed at Vila Lumbung. We like the ambiance of the hotel/pool area and the standard of rooms are good value for money in this upmarket area of bali. Its also a far cry from the noisy main streets and hotels in Seminyak which seem to get busier by the day. But it is only a short walk to general facilities outside the hotel, spa's, restaurants etc or a taxi ride to the busier end of Seminyaks shopping area. The beach at Petitinget is not the best, but that is the case with most of Bali, unless you get to Dreamland they are all quite dull/dark sand, obtrusive beach hawkers. The hotel breakfast is good by holiday destination standard and certainly adequate. Poolside meals though are disappointing, avoid eating at the pool as the menu is limited and rather expensive for what you are served. For the sake of a short walk outside the hotel you will find international and local restaurants with better quality/value. The rooms are clean, we have stayed in the villas and they are nice though on inspecting the hotel rooms they are newer and cleaner - and cheaper. If you want really high end luxury then you could look elsewhere, but the ethos of this hotel is affordable luxury and I think they hit the mark."

"The Liberta is a 3 star hotel in Seminyak which is a great location close to lots of restaurants and bars and also close to the beach. The hotel is clean and well equipped with good WiFi and cable tv but it is the staff that make this hotel. They are very friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond expectations all the time. In particular were Rama and Hendro on the main reception who were alway so happy to help you with anything you might need but all the staff were just perfect. Thanks."

"I stayed at Mboutique for enough time to be known by name by all the staff, the location was very central to everywhere with just a 2,5 hr scenic scooter ride supplied by mboutique with ease and at a cery competitive rate. The beds were well looked after and the extra pillow was definitely a plus! The key card system and the wristband locker system allows you to keep your belongings safe, as with pretty much everywhere however if it gets left lying around it will go missing. So be sure to keep your items in your pods or lockers. Its easy to forget that you are in the heart of bustling Seminyak when chilling by the pool or exchanging stories with soon to be friends or as others would say "strangers". The environment has a way of bringing the best parts of people out with a very relaxed daytime chill, a bit of music and a game of cards or chatter around the table makes it perfect for solo travelers to enjoy whether you're an early riser or a night owl, Over all I highly recommend staying"

"I were here just for a day in a jacuzzi room. On special request I told that I celebrate honeymoon and hope their best service. When arrived near the hotel, I doubt about the quality of hotel, because this hotel located in a small road in Seminyak (dont worry, the have shuttle bus to seminyak plaza and offer you like a golf car to reach the main road). But, after arrived at hotel, I feel amaze. A big and modern hotel with friendly staff. We got welcome drink and during waiting for check in time, We enjoy their roof top. I think we qot special services, they decorated our bed room and jacuzzy with red rose, and gave us honeymoon cake on evening. We order two bowl of ice cub and got it free. For their breakfast, it is excellent. They offer us many kind of coffee, tea, and yoghurt with free of charge, they are so creative to make many kind of egg menu. Overall is excellent. But I think they should to develop their cleanness because I feel their wood floor oily and develop their indonesian food. Maybe because most of visitors are international tourist so the only offer one indonesian menu. For Indonesian, their western food is not tasty. We will recommended it to you, and we will back to stay here some day."
