“Dirty, poor room with unscrupulous management”
We booked 2 different units for our colleagues to stay in for 27 nights and 13 nights respectively. Unfortunately, within 1-2 nights one of them discovered that the unit's air conditioner likely had mold as he started to have breathing difficulties. The rooms were both poorly maintained, dirty and did not look like they had been cleaned well for ages. For example, pee stains in the shower. The wifi did not work. The hot water did not work. Our colleagues moved out and we asked for a refund or at least credits. All requests were refused on the basis that the hotel had offered us a room change which we refused. If TWO out of TWO units were badly maintained, what would give us the confidence that changing units would help? In total, we paid for 40 nights, and stayed for 3 nights. I would strongly recommend not to stay in this facility unless you are really on a budget. Also, beware that the same company "Rasa Sayang Homestay" is listing the same facility under multiple names to give the customer the illusion of choice. We purchased the 2 units under 2 purportedly different names: "Aurora Place Pavilion Bukit Jalil by The Cynefin" and "Revo Hotel & Suites Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil by The Cynefin". They are run by the same management, avoid at all costs.
