The resort offers good accommodation complete with amenities and services. It's a luxury resort and I could say it is one of Fiji’s premier 5-star resort destinations (located on Denarau Island). Denarau Island has many resorts and you can look at some others as well. Though I would say Hilton is one of the best. My experience with this resort was one where I can say, that yes I will come back and definitely stay here. Located on the beachfront, it is one of the most scenic and naturally pleasing locations.The villas are quite modern , large and stylish. I was wondering why I didn't book more time on this one! But then we headed to Suva - check my review on the other hotels as well. ;) We were on a family vacation (self / spouse and parents) awesome time spent. I would say that range of accommodation options are quite good and they can suit couples on a romantic getaway or family vacations. The local flavors from the hotel restaurant and bar are quite good. Liked the different things suggested by the chef. They have activities for everyone, kids activities are good. Full day schedules etc. Luxury at its best. Spa (massage) by the beach, amazing staff, very good overall. Bula!!!

This is our 6th visit to Mana since 1998, and since getting home yesterday, I am trying to work out when I can go again. Fiji is a place to go if you are looking for a no stress holiday. When I say no stress, I mean you need to not care if service is slow, if things take a little longer than what you are used to in our busy lives. It is a place we go to so that we can slow down and not care too much about anything. On Mana, there is great snorkelling on a choice of beaches. Even when it is windy, you can always find a great place out of the wind to swim. The food is ok. It is fairly priced in my opinion and you can save some $$ by taking your own lunch. We take 2 minute noodles and after eating a big breakfast find that is al that is needed until dinner time. The report has changed over the time that we have been going and some of the changes I don't like. They used to have Bingo by the pool every night during happy hour which was great. It was great family fun and a time to meet new people to talk about the days adventures. The Fijian people are fantastic and we have got to know many of them from our trips. Although we didn't take the kids this time, many of the staff asked after them by name. Mana Island is a great place to get away from the hustle of real life and and get into a truly relaxed state. You just have to go with the flow. FIJI Time is the best.

Worth the travel and extra transfers to get to! Best location, water is awesome not ruff as in protected area. 1 bebroom garden room is Great price , clean, spacious, only complaint is we had to hire bikes as we had a room the furthest away from everything. Food is awesome with al la carte never disappointing. Buffet somethings as not nice, breakfast good. Bar would run out of the best beer every night and would need to drink another until next day. Cocktails were average and still pay for it. Over all I would definitely return again!

We booked three days, two nights at the Lomani Island Resort in Fiji. We looked at the reviews and decided to give it a shot. The Island is semi secluded and is easily reached via water taxi or water plane. We took the catamaran Molocat and it was super easy. We gave then our flight details and they picked us up at the Nadi airport and took us to the marina. We got on the boat and set off for Lomani. Once at the island the resort came and picked us up after we gave them our molocat ferry time of arrival. The resort is fabulous! Adults only, quiet, romantic, and the beach, WOW! We rented a beach hut that was very nice. We were treated with music and shells around our necks and had a coconut drink while they explained the resort details. This place was romantic! We went here to get off the grid. No late night parties, no kids, people just chilling out by the pool, having drinks and good food. There were not a lot of people as we went in their spring (first of November) and got rained on one day but turned out to be a blessing as it was over 90 all other days...very hot and muggy...swam in the ocean or pool most of the hot afternoon. Had dinner out on the beach, beautiful sunsets, this place is a hidden jewel. The entire staff we met were extremely gracious and nice and at our service. They don't ask for tips but are appreciative to get one if they go above and beyond. They provide daily activities like snorkeling and you can use their kayaks, paddle boards, hobbie cats, etc to enjoy the calm blue waters. Lovely place, no problems to report, Not a 5 star hotel so if you come with that kind of atttitude you need to not ruin it for others looking to just relax and enjoy Fiji time!! We certainly did. We will be back. After intense searching on the internet we booked Octopus with hesitation. Everyone telling us they had not heard of it. What a pleasant surprise. Stayed 4 days 2 x couples in March 2016 booked the garden bure. Had our own shower and toilet…this was the most amazing experience..food fantastic and the meal deal is well worth it considering the prices on the mainland. Snorkeling was fantastic. If you want a true island experience without the 5 star resort feeling and service. Please book here this is one of the best holidays…great for kids as well…activity board will keep everyone as busy as they want to be. Thankyou to the Island Manager Ravi, who went out of his way to help us get an earlier ride back to the mainland…just a tip…if you don't get seasick catch the island boat across from the Marina as the Yasawa Flyer does multiple stops and takes longer..the island boat smaller but faster…we will definitely book again..this island is suitable for all ages

It is the 2nd time I stayed in this hotel and I can truly say that the experience is very good. I have an early flight next day, and instead of trying another hotel, I decided to pick an old reliable hotel and it is always a good decision for a lot of reasons. The location is undeniably the best and one is already just at the very gate of the airport itself. The staff are all very efficient and knowledgeable and are very helpful. Food served in the restaurant is quite good and tasty. The room where I stayed in is very, very comfortable and is really worth the price quoted. I wished I have stayed longer and enjoyed more the ambience of this hotel. Will definitely be back.

Our fifth trip to Fiji, and we knew what we wanted for a six night stay: the small Fiji island experience, usual friendly Fijian service, clear water, good coral close by, decent beach, own good-quality bure facing the water, private outdoor shower and an overall high standard, plus not too unaffordable for us. Paradise Cove gave us all these things, so overall we were very happy with our choice. The Yasawa Island views are great, even the weather was pretty cooperative (last week of October). Hardly cheap, but we appreciate the expense of doing things well on an isolated island, and the general difficulty of maintaining a high standard anywhere in Fiji. In most ways, the rough edges you normally expect to see in Fiji are not evident, so the place is well run. We reduced the expenses a bit by taking the Yasawa Flyer, not the seaplane. The boat trip seemed OK in both directions - did not take (or need) the Captain's Cabin upgrade either. Also we declined any of the resort drinks packages. On drinks, we took three bottles of wine and a 6 pack of beer in our luggage. These, combined with the complimentary starter minibar stock provided in the fridge of two beers, two cokes, two juices, one sprite, small white wine, plus a small red wine got us through the week quite comfortably. Depends how much you drink of course.... Note there was as many extra minibar items again in the cupboard beside the fridge...maybe these were for us at no extra charge, but we left them alone. Lest we seem too cheap, we ordered beer (FJD10), wine and cocktails (FJD28) with some of our meals. The food we would rate as good-to-excellent. Note that beef called 'medium rare' or 'seared' will indeed be served rare; whilst cooked fish (usually mahi-mahi) is perhaps sometimes a little overdone, at least to our taste, which surprised us a bit. Desserts are presented in the artistic fashion (Masterchef style) which adds to the interest. Overall, you can look forward to meal times with anticipation. We

great staff- great location room was great...one thing i do need to point out though is that i stayed at the hotel 3 times and each of the 3 times i booked studio room. I was given a different studio room each of this 3 times in terms of size. The first time was a really good sized room . Second time, i was travelling with 2 infants and the size of the studio room was a bit small for my family- lucky it was for one night only. The 3rd time i booked the studio room was perfect size for my family- a big sized room. So you might wanna check out the room size of the studio room before you book to see if it suits you. Other than that i am really happy with the hotel and will definitely stay again.

This resort is definitely 5 star. It's beautiful, and has amazing service. It's small, so you really feel like you're on your own little island. It's child-free and party-free which is exactly what my partner and I were looking for. We're at that age where we wanted a little relaxation and less backpacker/party scene, and this was it. The staff was incredibly friendly and really made the stay worth it. A few things I'd note for any potential travelers: -The ferry takes a while to get to the resort, so if you can splurge, I'd suggest taking the seaplane -In Fiji, gratuity is given through a communal "Christmas fund" which is split between employees during the holidays. Bring cash for this fund otherwise you'll get charged the additional credit card fee to charge gratuity on your card. -If you take the ferry from the island to Nadi, there is a free shuttle that takes about 30-50 mins depending on traffic. You don't need to take a taxi for $45 FJD or book through the resort.

This was the best place we spent time at during our holiday. Ideal for couples, calm, you have privacy, the whole place is spacious. Staff is excellent and polite. There was no compulsory meal plan which was a big advantage for us (paid less for food during 3 days here than on another resort with meal plan during 2 days, even if the meals themselves were not really cheap). The beach of the resort looks nice, there is a small coral reef right in front and not far away another one which offer some snorkel opportunities. There are a good variety of activities as well. Our bure was good, not too spacious but enough. The only disadvantage is that the bathroom is open to wind which makes having a shower a bit uncomfortable in windy weather.

WOW. The moment you arrive at Tokoriki Island Resort, you know you are somewhere truely special. Instantly relaxed and greeted by the friendliest staff. The sunset pool villa was absolutely stunning, very private and with lots of different areas to relax. We felt like celebrities the entire weekend! The resorts surroundings are unbelievably beautiful. Lush green grass, palm trees and bright coloured tropical flowers. We did some diving while we were there and found the dive staff to be exceptional - very friendly and caring, wanting us to have the best experience possible. Great small groups (2 couples and a dive master at the most) and we never felt like we were being rushed. The dive sites they took us to were amazing! The food was what we would expect from any restaurant at home - the prices reflected this, with a main costing around $23-$28NZD. When you add the cost of the accommodation, transfers and food, it's certainly not a cheap place to go but if you are after a once in a lifetime experience that will totally take your breath away then Tokoriki Island Resort could be it!

this trip was simply AWESOME ! although you can see the price is quite high , it worths every single penny. the staff was so friendly and professional, they always did their best to provide the most suitable choice to you. the resort was isolated , it only contained 4 villas , therefore you have a great great level of privacy and escape from the crowd. oh man everything was so great except the staff didn't mention about the water supply, which basically stopped at the time we wanted to take shower.

Due to Cyclone Evan I booked Radisson Blu only a couple of nights before we arrived through Agoda as I had some points saved up. Once inside the resort, you would not have even known there had been a cyclone, they had done a wonderful job cleaning up and all the staff seemed to be in good spirits which certainly attributed. We arrived at the hotel at around 7.00am in the morning after an early flight from Melbourne, and after a nightmare flight (if you have ever flown when you have the flu, you may understand the pain of landing) were eager to just get some rest. We did not expect whatsoever to be able to check-in so early, rather just hoped to be able to leave our bags at least and find somewhere within the resort to relax until check-in time. However, the WONDERFUL man at check-in (Ledua was his name I think?) advised us we could have our room immediately and upgraded us from a Lagoon Guest Room to a One-bedroom Suite. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. There was a mini-bar and coffee & tea facilities. The sofa couch we noted would be perfect if travelling with children with the TV, as well as another TV in the bedroom. Large dining table, full kitchenette and small balcony (good if one of you is a smoker). I am a very light sleeper normally, even at home. But at the Radisson they have fantastic blinds that block out all light if need be, and a huge, comfortable bed. It's a perfect location if you do like the whole 5-star resort thing, especially for Fiji first-timers as the Denarau marina is the departure point for many day trips out to the Mamanucas. We really enjoyed our short stay at the Radisson and would no doubt recommend it to anyone considering Denarau, or Fiji!

The staff here are the best . I had issues with my booking dates and the staff had that resolved for me. Giving them a four star as I feel they do have room to improve. The food here is delicious. The chefs are amazing. They can make some changes to the way they serve hot breakfast. Once the orders are placed by the guest , it will be better service if the servers delivered them to the tables. Its hard to hear the chefs calling out table numbers. Other than that the service is awesome. They need to change their happy hour times to 3 to 5 or 6 like other place and be a bit more generous on happy hour pricing. The Manager needs to take ownership of the hotels incorrect publications and be apologetic to the guest. This is good business practice. I come from a service industry so I do look at little things. Little guestures are what makes happy and satisfied guests.

I had a magical holidays at Blue lagoon resort. The lagoon itself is beautiful, clear water, easy to swim and enjoy. Tropical Fish swims around you. The corals are close to resort, lots of colourful fish. I snorkelled every day and loved it. Beach is long, good for walking. Swimming pool is good with comfortable launge beds around. Food: the breakfast is buffet, omlets, fruits etc.. lunch and dinner is different every day. Lunch from menu, dinner differs every night. I loved the food, especially one night it was 5 star dinner with great selection of three course. The only thing the food only serves at certain time and sometime I felt a bit long to wait. I used "awesome adventure" to book tickets for the transfer. Captain lounge was air conditioned, food, drinks, alcohol and fruits provided. It took me about 4-5 hours to get to the resort and you can see other islands and resorts on your way. Cave trip is memorable, 20 min from the resort. Really awesome stay!

Stayed in a private room with a private bathroom. Facilities are ok by hostel standards, not the best or worst I’ve ever seen but it is old so the white tile definitely can feel grungy. There are lots of lively common areas with all kinda of guests making for good people watching. The travel desk has tons of pamphlets and the tour desk will arrange anything for you. Many tours pick up at the hotel lobby which is convenient. There is a laundry room for self service but be aware that some take special coins and some take local coins, ask before you get the special coins. The front desk is definitely on Island time so have some patience, they are friendly but not necessarily full of urgency. The convenience store downstairs is very handy, takes credit cards, and stays open late. Best part is the free dance show in Sunday night which has great fire dancing on the beach. Overall a great cheap lively spot but not for those with high expectations of facility modernness or germaphobes.

We chose Fiji for a few extra days holiday in the Southern Hemisphere after completing our cruise round New Zealand and Australia. Fiji was intriguing and we booked a couple of days in Suva then moved to Denerau Iskand for 4 nights. BUT our hotel in Denerau was dirty and decrepit so we reviewed the options online and chose Castaway Island Resort. Fantastic! The routine greeting on the beach by the resident acoustic guitar group was great and they played in the restaurant at every meal. The villa was excellent, clean, well appointed comfortable and 8 yards from the beach. We went snorkelling from there twice a day. Food was good with one exception and staff exceptional. I chose a scuba day and Eric my instructor was brilliant. We would love to come again. Andrew and Margaret from UK

this was our 3rd time staying at wailoaloa and on our next trip to fiji will book here in the future! definitely recommend the studio villa- really clean and has everything you need! i feel it is the best value for money compared to other resorts e.g. beachhouse, tambua sands, mango bay! the breakfast there is a big variety of foods compared to the more expensive resorts i have mentioned- also has a television in the room and is same cleanliness as other more expensive resorts too! with the added option of cooking a meal yourself in the studio villa- it has all the facilities you need! can't wait to stay again! very friendly too! :)

Couldn't fault the rooms, the gardens, the bars, swimming pools, outdoor areas and friendly staff. The hotel is definitely 5 star. The only thing that I was annoyed about is the deceit with restaurant prices. There is small print at the base of the menus advising that a 20% Government tax is charged extra when paying your bill. This makes eating at their restaurant very expensive in my book. Most other restaurants don't add the tax at the end and their prices seemed more reasonable to me. The 20% tax at the Westin (and the Sheraton)is also applied to bars and even food and drinks purchased at their bakery. For this reason I did not patronise their restaurants. There are cheaper good quality restaurants also at the Denarau Marina close by.

Well put together hotel, has a nice vibe and layout. The waterfront restaurant was one of the best that we went to in the area, for service and atmosphere as well as food. Pool was busy but not too busy during the day. All the staff were great. My daughter loved the kids club, and I liked the way you could just take them in at any time between about 9am to 8pm - it was not sessional or requiring booking - even though it did cost. Other ones we had to book a nanny as she is only 3. Room would have been great for a couple, wasn't very spacious as we had 2 kids with us for all our stuff, but not a huge problem. Did have a weird bathroom set up too with a leaky shower. Adults only area looked great but we didn't get a chance to go there. Everything was reasonably expensive, on par with other hotels in the area, food itself at the beach front restaurant was similar to what we would pay at home.

Overall a pleasant experience. Went for the snorkeling, which was ok, about on par with other Mamanuca islands, but not the best. We were not big eaters so didn't get either of the meal packages, choosing instead to purchase restaurant food a la carte. Standard of food was good, but catered to a Euro-Western taste, so Asian visitors were probably disadvantaged. Smoking is permitted in all open areas of the resort , and there were a lot of visitors who smoked, which limited our ability to sit with comfort near the pool or in the lounge. We dined early to avoid this problem and spent a lot of time away from the main buildings. Staff were friendly and helpful, as they are everywhere in Fiji. The reef can be snorkeled from the shore, best around high tide, but there are also boat trips to other areas. Sharks, turtles, plenty of fish. Coral around the island and elsewhere is quite broken up with some areas of bleaching. Good showers and airconditioning in our bure.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at The Warwick. Wonderful atmosphere, a great range of activities and beautiful setting. It was very westernized although attempts were made to maintain traditional aspects. Disappointed by the food in general, it was all pretty average, however it was probably better than what other hotels had to offer on the island. I wouldn't class this hotel as 5 star, but a 4 star.

My boyfriend had previously stayed Sheraton in 2010 for a wedding and recommended we stay there. It really is amazing. The pool is lagoon style curling around the restaurant and the water is so inviting. There are chairs and bars throughout the pool and a pool bar so ordering drinks is easy and it's so relaxing watching the sun set over the beach while you sip a drink in the pool. The hotel is beachfront so couldn't ask for a better location. The rooms are well-sized and the bathroom we had was very modern, with 2 mirrors/sinks. The service is fantastic, everywhere we went we had the staff yelling out 'Bula!' (Hello in Fiji) and they were more than happy to help on every occasion. The food is quite pricey (more than your average restaurant in Australia) but it is a 5 star resort so I guess it's expected. The atmosphere is fantastic. We went as a couple which was very romantic however it would also suit families and friends alike as it's very safe and child friendly. Will definitely return!

We stay at Maui palms for 3 nights and it was one of the best resort that me and my husband has been too. From the room the staff everything waa amazing. The staff get out of their way to help you with anything you need. Everyone is super friendly. Neal and Ben are the chef and Let me just say the food is out of this world. Best Surf and turf we ever had. We recommend if you are staying more then a few days to get all inclusive meals. It’s value for your money and you won’t regret it. On the last night Joe organise are romantic dinner for me and my husband on the beach and it was beautiful. We can’t thank you enough for all the staff at Maui palms for giving us are wonderful experience and great time. Now we understand why it’s such are high rating for this villa. If you are thinking of booking just do it! Best decision you will make!

After reading some negative reviews my husband & I wer a little worried. No need, we were not expecting 5 star so we were more than happy. The only negative was the amount of day trippers each day, but we just order the alternative lunch and had our private lunch in the upstairs bar area to get away from the crowds. Our bure(2) was superb, and location was the best, snorkelling from in front of our bure was excellent. Yes we were the older in the guests, the majority of the time all the younger ones were well behaved and pleasant. Never heard any noise from parties at night. Only one night some guests were rowdy near our bure, not beachcombers fault. All the restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming everyday. The food was very tasty and plentiful,lots of fruits, salads and hot dishes. There was also morning tea & afternoon tea, coffee & muffin if you were hungry. We arrived late just after 1pm which was end of lunch time, they held the lunch for us. On the last day we were leaving at 1pm and they prepared a special lunch at 12.oopm, which was a nice surprise for us. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and had booked a special package which included two 3-min massages, and a pre dinner cocktail setup and house wine on our balcony. We were pleasantly surprised to find they had arranged a special 4 course dinner on the private balcony above the bar area setup for just the two of us. We got to choose from a couple of options for each course, we were greeted by Dora at the foot of the stairs with lovely white leys and escorted to our table. The food, wine(a la cart style) and the service was wonderful. Well done Beachcomber staff you are all amazing, from Vah our amazing room attendant, Lani, Sam Etu and manymore didn't get names in the restaurant, Pio & Jo in the bar, and Dora for your lovely smile and kind ways. Loved the casual relaxed style, no shoes for 10 days was great, all areas are sand. You can do as much or as little as you like

The Terraces are excellent. The accommodation is in serviced apartments, not hotel rooms. This means you can have more independence than hotel accommodation. The grounds are lovely, great pool (fine for laps or relaxing) and a small licensed cafe. The staff are helpful and very welcoming. The location near the Marina is ideal for groceries, transport to town or to the islands and to a range of reasonably priced and interesting restaurants. This place seems to be heavily booked, so I suggest book early. I would definitely stay again.

From the time we checked in till the time we left we felt at home. This was our second time we stayed at the resort and it certainly won't be the last. We just love this place, it is the best place to relax, you can do as much or as little as you would like, Fiji Time. I enjoy lying on the hammock reading my book listening to the waves lapping the beach, however my husband loves snorkelling amongst the coral just off the beach taking photos of the multitude of fish and sealife.
