I booked this hotel without expectation. The rate was good so I booked it without even knowing where exactly it was, whether it was strategic or not. I just needed to stay a night. It turned out even since the beginning of my booking, I could feel the welcoming tone in every email they sent. Stasov is only like 30 minutes from Pulkovo, good traffic. From the front you ...

Cheap places to stay in Sankt-Peterburg Federal Subject

Easy to find, and is very central, close to many attractions. Plenty of food and supermarket nearby. There's always not enough cups or plates on the 2nd floor kitchen, and my food was stolen, half a jar of ajika sauce to be exact, it was in the fridge, labelled. Kitchen is cleaned daily. Wall is thin, you can hear everything. But I met the most amazing people in the ho...

This place is among my top 3 Hostels St Petersburg. Only thing I had trouble with was arriving and opening the gate with the gate code when arriving from Italyanskaja Uliza (usually I enter the code and hashtag after. This one was hashtag first and the code after. I had to wait few minutes for people to go through because my IQ is under 50. This place is peaceful, rel...

Rooms are clean, shared bathroom with 4 sinks and showers. Reception guy Nikita spoke fluent english, and girl next to him also when checked in. Easy to manage, easy to find, bar downstairs with amazing drinks selection. Metro is close as well as party streets, except the place is superquiet. Recommend.

Just one minute walk from Kazan cathedral. 15 minutes walk to winter palace. Best location in the city! All staff are friendly, able to give any information you need. The public area has everything including coffee, tea, water dispenser and sofa. Toilet and shower room are pretty small but clean. Personal reading light and power supply are available. I will still choos...

A bit hard to find the hostel at the first time. Close to the metro station and easy access to the main attractions by bud. Staff are nice and willing to help although they do not speak english. The bathroom design may not be convenient for females. But overall, it is a good hostel for budget travellers.

The hostel is centrally located, easy to navigate from Gostiny Dvor Metro. My check in was quite a problem as they failed to locate my booking for some time, but then it resolved. However, the stay was amazing. Got a lot of new friends here, and also lots of freebies. We cooked together, walked together, watched match together, and even had a party (as it was coinciden...

Location is not perfect and admins could be slightly more polite. This said they are great, but there is room for improvement. This hostel is in my top 3 list In St Petersburg. Used to be the first but last two times admins were a little bit impolite (perhaps a bad day). I always book this place if there is no room in my favourite or second favourite hostels. A minus.....

If you come to St Petersburg by train or leave there by train, the hostel is in a good location for you. Otherwise, you get some hostel with better location and similar price range. The hestel is located in a quite old building, and it is quite difficult to find. The bed is not good. In a shared room, you do not have locker, you do not have individule plug and light. ...

A bit of a walk to any of the highlights of St Petersburg and a pretty industrial/dead street that the hostel is on. The rooms could've used a bit of air conditioning on a few nights, but the room wasn't bad at all. Clean, staffed all day/night, and never had to wait for the showers or toilets. The staff doesn't speak english at all so communication was a bit of a chal...

It's a very rare chance to come visit Russia in your lifetime. Visiting St Petersburg was the best decision I have ever decided to do in my life. Good good good goooooood and unbelievably so cheap rooms are much much better than they look in the pics. And they have kitchen for cooking. Every room has automatic door lock for safety. Nice and quite big room, everything clean and working. Quiet in the night. Very pleasant and quick service at reception. About 30 minutes walk to the center, underground is about 5 minutes away. Overall by far the best experience from all the accommodation we stayed at in Russia.

Firstly, the rooms not cleaned well, there are a lot of mosquitoes in the room!!!.. the smell of them room are not good!!!. I stayed a lot in many hostels, it is the first time which someone stole my mobile charges, sweat pant and tishirt which was located over my bed!!!!. I made a complain to receptionist (ANASTISA) she told me that she will check the camera but I did...

The hotel is at a good location, you can walk to some of the major sights. The room is clean, and nicely decorated, as you would expect in this category. The only complaint I would have is the size of the restaurant. When people have breakfast, at peak times the place can't handle the rush, and you don't have a table, or really hard to get actual food.

1st visit to St Petersburg and didn't know the geographical layout of the city. Took recommendation from Agoda primarily based on price and the photos. It is an apartment hotel, that is why there is no obvious signs of the "hotel" at the building's entrance. We and the taxi driver were quite lost initially. The entrance walkway into the building was also quite run down...

The hotel is definitely one of the best in terms of what it has to offer. Upon arrival we were provided the room in less than 5 min. The paperwork and registration were done by the hotel which was nice and helpful. The view from the room was beautiful. We could see the lifting of the bridges from the room. The breakfast spread was amazing. We even ordered food late ni...

It's just 1 min walk from the metro station. Once out from the metro, walk straight, cross the stone bridge, Gogol is on your left. Very conveniently located. It's around 20 min walk to the Hermitage (Palace Square) and 15 min walk to the Kazan Cathedral. However, to save some energy for sightseeing, it'll be a good option to take one stop of metro and get off near the...

This boutique hotel was originally built as the home of a 19th century industrialist. It has been tastefully restored and decorated. The hotel is in a great position down a quiet side street, within easy walking distance of all the main sights, shops, restaurants and metro station. We stayed in St. Petersburg for 3 days and we loved it. The city is beautiful, with very rich history and amazing palaces. The Kempinski is in a perfect location, only 2 min walk from the Hermitage and 8 min walk from the hydrofoil pier (for excursions to Peterhof palace - highly recommended). We had a room with a beautiful view towards the Church of the Spilled Blood,...

Indigo was a really pleasant surprise, a bit far from the center of town (15 minutes walk) but apart from that a very good place to be. The hotel is new, staff is very good, rooms are spacey and nicely furbished. Onyl shame was the Internet connection that was not always stable, but apart from that all the rest was great

A lovely boutique hotel, very modern, very clean, very accommodating. The staff was excellent, breakfast, room service was excellent. The style of the hotel is fantastic and a rarity in Russia. Right next to the summer garden and very well located though the metro was a bit of a walk.

We rented a basic room. so we knew not to expect much. Room was small for two adults and a child. Two out of five days we stayed room had only warm water, every day not enough towels, and always only one or two bottles of water. Sink and bath always gets clogged. Staff was very helpful w fixing water problem, but towels and water was always an issue. Gets a little an...

The location was great; right off Nevesky Prospect for walking to the Hermitage along a shopping studded street, near the train station for a trip to Moscow, and close to the subway stations for jaunts to sites located a little farther out of the district. the hotel was picture post card perfect! Enough can not be said about the hotel and restaurant staff's courteous a...

It was a nice staying. I have only two things to mention - in the bathroom was no tooth brush and paste, luckily I had mine with me. Ahd would like to mention that there was a really nice door boy, super friendly and helping !!! Of coarse it is his job but I travel a lot and can compare. My stay was this week.

When you look at the rooms, it looks more like a four-star hotel. Mine was deluxe twin room, but the room was pretty small and old. Still, it was clean and comfortable. I had a nice experience with its wonderful location and nice breakfast everyday.

Staffs at Reception and concierge were extremely helpful. Great location but only the size of the room is a bit small. Another downside was the restaurant KOKOKO. Breakfast was almost the same price as Four Season next door, the food wasn't as good and service was poor. Especially when the restaurant charges extra 5%

3 of us have stayed in staybridge for a night. hotel is very new and clean. it's studio apartment style where we have a dry kitchen. the room is furnished with equipment thoughtfully. they even prepared tupperware in case guest would like to pack some food to bring to office. generally it's a good place for business traveller who stay in st. petersburgh for some tim...

Altho' Domina Prestige may classify itself as a 5-star establishment, it really is somewhere in the 3 1/2 to 4-star category. It simply does not have the décor or dining quality of a 5-star hotel. It does, however have a 5-star staff. This hotel provided excellent traveler support and great value. I strongly recommend it, even tho' Domina's self-rating of 5 stars ...

When we arrived we found the Hotel a little far from the center with no shops or restaurants to walk to, so you have to take a taxi every time you want to go somewhere. The rooms are really clean, but a lot smaller then they look at the pictures online. But still the first impression was o.k. Only the room looked like a smaller version of what we saw online. The Beds a...

We came here for watching a WC match. Having read the reviews at Trip Advisor, we decided to book 2 nights in this apartment. Poor management refuse to refund even the service provide is completely different from the the booking, owner provide different location and different flat. Poor communication of the address And owner didn’t provide any explanation when two strangers get into our flat and lies to fix the electricity.
