Where to stay in Hubei Province
Hubei Province hotels & accommodations
A lovely sprawling property. The lake is not bad, but not really nice either.... But the grounds are beautiful, lush and sprawling. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Buffet breakfast is delicious and caters to all your whims.... Recommend this hotel... even if Wuhan is a shit hole ;-)
Along with Jianghan pedestrian street with many shops and restaurants, Dorsett Wuhan Hotel is a good choice for travelers, even in business or as a tourist. Line 2 metro stations are 300-400m nearby which go directly to Wuhan Tianhe Airport. Also near Yangtze Great Bridge and Yellow Crane Tower. Staff are very helpful and generally good in English speaking. Check in an...
So happy for having chosen this hotel. Locatied by a riverside, the senery was good. Breakfast were also amazing. Beside, the staff are helpful. My trip to Wuhan has been memorable because of this hotel.
Clean rooms, comfortable bed and good service. The breakfast is really good. However, the surroundings were under construction and due to the 1st of May holiday not all the services were available. Quite far from the airport and train station.
Stayed a total of 4 nights. The hotel was not new but it was well maintained. The hotel is right in front of Hankou Railway Station, which have high-speed railway station, metro station, multiple bus stops. It is a very convenient location for traveling around Wuhan and there were many restaurants around also. The staff spoke very good English and was very professi...
This hotel is a few minutes walk from the bus terminal for tourist buses. I checked into this hotel as an IHG elite member I was allocated a club room with all the associated perks. It was spacious, well furnished and very quiet. I had an early train to catch and went for breakfast at 6.30am. It was chaos. There was not a vacant table anywhere, The few staff were overw...
overall pleasant stay, but i have to add the services is not up to the usual Westin standards.
I stayed in the hotel for two nights. I had one dinner buffet and one breakfast buffet in the hotels. The variety of the food is good but the quality could have been better for a five-star hotel. The staff in the lobby and the café shop are excellent, well-trained and friendly. As for the room, it is spacious for a double-bed room. Most of all, the location of the hote...
I would like to make a complain about the hotel room provided. The room i got is only 36 sq.m and without sofa. This is discrepant with the room i booked in agoda which is Superior 1 King Size Bed Best Unrestricted Rate-RAT(130sq.m with sofa) At the mean time, I was informed by the hotel that they do NOT have this kind of room. I hope that agoda will pay me the refund...
The price of a bit over RMB 400 was good. However, the room was not entirely convincing considering it's a 5-star hotel. First, our room was located below a kind of overhang/bridge of the building so that we couldn't see much from our window, except the concrete underside of said overhang and an alley. The top third of the window view was actually blocked by a concrete...
The rooms are great. Not as spacious as their sister hotel, but nonetheless cosy and nice design details. Restaurants are good, beautifully designed, but when we dined at the Chinese restaurant there I wished there were more choices on the local cuisines, and not Cantonese food which honestly, mediocre with its standard. Breakfast is great - lots of choices with ...
We have stayed in the Ramada Plaza hotel on many occasions and it seems to be losing some of its charm shown to us in the past. The rooms don't seem as clean as they used to be for example. The breakfast buffet is still quite good but not as good as it once was. The evening buffet in the revolving restaurant is definitely only a two-star affair or less. The venue i...
A new property at the new part of this 4th tier Chinese city, about 30 min from Wudangshan and about 10km from the city railway station. It is probably the best property in this city. The rooms are well decorated and bed was comfortable. As it is in the city, there are local restaurants in the next building. The cost of living is certain lower than the larger cities in...
A clean five stars hotel with good location. They have ForeX currency exchange service, however surprisingly they don't accept Asean currencies which include Singapore Dollars.
I had a great time in this 5 star serviced residence. The price is soo cheap for all the amenities they offer there. Huge room, superb service. All the equipments in the room are first class. They even have a washing/ drying machine in the room, with washing detergent supplied every day. Shopping mall is right next door. ATM machine is down stairs. Receptionists speak ...
The stay was very good. However, it was the mid-autumn festival in China. The hotel raised it's rates during my stay there. The guest services manager wanted me to pay an additional 1,000 RMB. I refused because the rates were guaranteed by Agoda. After this discussion, the manager said I should do nothing, which I did. I never experienced this at any Agoda booked...
Very nice hotel with extremely comfortable and well-appointed room. Perfect
Only issues were a non-working floor lamp that should have been replaced rather than taking up space; and housekeeping not replacing some needed toiletries and items on a daily basis. Breakfast was not included but recommend paying extra for it, it's fairly standard Chinese hotel buffet breakfast with some local specialties available, and the price is affordable. Good ...
Overall excellent. Perfect location!
The service of staff, abundance of staff, quality throughout the hotel was of great excellence and far above our expectations and considerably under-stated on your website,- ulike many hotels, especially in China, who over-state ! We were also offered an upgrade to a suite as a further bonus although we did see the room grade we booked & this was equaly excellent - ...
Great staff who take care until we check out . They helpful and carefully service Help me to check even railway ticket because there is 2 railway station in Xiangyang.Happy with taxi service that hotel staff contact to take us to TangCheng city and go anywhere . The room and environment include breakfast is perfect. I will back to visit Xiangyang and love to stay this...
Hotel is at Wuchang district and a bit far away from city centre. There were not many eateries nearby. I booked the deluxe room which was clean, spacious and came with one buffet breakfast. Price was very good for a 4 star hotel. I would recommend only for business travellers and for those visiting friends/relatives living in Wuchang.
This property is a very good option for the budget travelers like me. Keeps the iBis brand awake! Room is good at the price point, furniture and amenities as well. But there is an issue with this property, no one will be able to communicate with you in ENGLISH, which is a very awful experience!
I was impressed by the relaxing atmosphere of this hotel in the heart of WuHan's culture area. The lobby was charming and my room very clean, well-presented and comfortable. Staff spoke some English and were generally helpful (for instance, pointing out the locations of good restaurants, etc.).
I was there with my son for an immersion program in one of the schools. So everyday I have to book a taxi to the school, and its very difficult to get taxis in the morning. Taxis can only be book if u have DiDi set up in wechat (which I dun have). The concierge staff use his person to help me book taxis and paid for it first, what an absolutely amazing service!!! My ...
This is a modern hotel with English TV channels., those are hard to find in China. The bed was small a twin not a double nor a queen as stated on the advertisement. The bathroom was a 4 piece, cozy and had enough space. They have Wifi and a Lan. The buffet restaurant and most of the others restaurants were all closed by 9:PM except for Toucan Irish pub. Buffet ...
First time visitor to Wuhan. Wuchang is a major train station and one of 3 fast train stations. Take the Wuchang Station, West Exit and when you get to the main street you will see the Hotel sign over the street above the buildings. There is a new train/metro entrance (H) that was about to open (Sep 2018) and it will bring you out on the correct side of the street an...

Pros: Location is within the famous Jianghan Walking Street. There is a convenient store right next to the hotel. About 5-7 minutes walking distance to Jianghan Road Metro Station (Exit/Entrance C). Near to restaurants and cafe. Direct Metro to Tianhe airport T3, about 17 stops if I’m not mistaken from the Jianghan Road station, fare only RMB7, via Line 2, no transf...
Cheap places to stay in Hubei Province
good location, vy nice staff especially the boy of reception
This hotel is pretty good, clean and much cheaper than other hotels. Near from bus station(BTS) so if you want to go to metro station you can take this bus and pass 3 station!
We have stayed at budget hotels all over Asia and this one has one of the bat for money. Excellent location outside of Shouyi Rd subway; friendly staff; clean room; comfy bed and fast wi-fi. Highly recommend it!
the hotel is fairly good value for its location but the blanket seems a bit thin especially on colder night otherwise it is alright as it is situated away from the main street and is less noisy
If you are looking for a place to rest and clean up, then this is the place. Near to a few tourist spot and place to eat.
This place was ok for the price.
The stay was fantastic, the room was bright and comfortable. Love the efficiency of hot shower. WiFi is available throughout the hotel. This hotel has taken care of every details. Location was superb, metro station is 5 mins walk, there are food and beverages outlets next door, a supermarket which is 150m away roughly. Recommending Standard Room as it is the biggest ro...
My stay in my room was comfortable enough for the price. Although not all the staff spoke english, they were pleasant and tried to best to be helpful. The inn is well situated, right opposite a bus stop for easy access to public transport and close to shops and parks. It was also close to the university where my brother has been studying which made it very easy walking...
I paid online ahead of time, and when I arrived, the staff said they don't serve foreigners, and told me to leave. When I asked for a refund, they laughed at me and said I would not get my money back.
I have lived in China for a long time and finding decent accomodation is always a challenge. At the price I paid for Ibis' rooms, I will certainly go again and I would even bring family members. The location is only 5 minutes from Optics Valley Metro line so travelling around town is conveniant. The breakfast buffet is almost all Chinese food (which I guess is fairly o...
very nice large rooms and good value for money. the hotel is well positioned to the central business district and the near by bus terminal.shopping for a wide range of goods is also available. the ground floor restaurant was also reasonable and well appointed, there were also a host of owner operated - cook in front of you outlets which are very inexpensive.
I feel safe to stay at this hotel. Most of staffs can't speak in English. The room is small without refrigerator, but clean. There is wifi at lobby, but I can find another wifi when I was at room. Breakfast is 18 Yuan. there are many kind of foods and delicious. The hotel is little bit far from shopping area, but can taxi take to there only 10-15 yuan.

The room was large and clean. It had cable television, but no clock so you have to rely on the staff for a wakeup call. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very firm, not soft by western standards. There was some construction going on during the day, but it was quiet at night. The bathroom did not have a separate shower and it didn't drain well, so the enti...
I went there to do something. So in my case the hotel is properly located. But the location of the hotel may be bad for others. The hotel is generally clean but main customers are Chinese. You ought to consider this. Finally, there is no refrigerator.

good location with nice staff service, good for family budget room
Located by train station. Take a bus to go to station and take 4min. There are many restaurants around hotel. About 1.2km a way from subway station.
picked up by driver who told us that 3 Gorges Project Hotel is too far away from railway station which we had to go to the next morning at 6. He therefore took us to another hotel, the Log hotel nearer the station and we did not have the pleasure to stay in the 3 Gorges Project hotel and lost our night paid for. Our understanding is that there are 2 3 Gorges Porject ...
This hotel is cheap. It's clean and spacious and has fast broadband. No frills. Bathroom clean, good hot water, nice shower. Staff helpful and they speak English.
Hotel is 40 minutes from wuhan high speed train station. Finding it is tough as its set back from the main road and the road out the front is too busy, so taxi drops you off on the main road, about 100m away from the front door. Bed was great the best night sleep i every had in China, with a very good quality mattress. Check out was fairly quick as I had pre paid ...
I was impressed by the relaxing atmosphere of this hotel in the heart of WuHan's culture area. The lobby was charming and my room very clean, well-presented and comfortable. Staff spoke some English and were generally helpful (for instance, pointing out the locations of good restaurants, etc.).
very good class hotel centrally located in wuhan. however, the central location also poses a problem of easy access to taxi, esp during peak period. the hotel has large room and well appointed. will be good to have rooms with twin bed for non couples. staff are helpful and have initiatives.
Hotel near lots of eateries but the only problem is it is 15-20 minutes walk from the nearest metro station line 2 called 循礼门
There was a toilet just inside the front door. It looked like someone had urinated everywhere apart from the toilet. This hadn’t been cleaned up. There was a 2nd toilet in the bedroom ensuite so we just used that one.
Good hotel and great central city location
This property is a very good option for the budget travelers like me. Keeps the iBis brand awake! Room is good at the price point, furniture and amenities as well. But there is an issue with this property, no one will be able to communicate with you in ENGLISH, which is a very awful experience!
As you come out of the hotel, there are good places to eat especially for breakfast at the market. The Hotel is near to Jiang Han metro station exit H. About 100 meter to the left as you come out from Exit H. Lively atmosphere at the boulevard with dancing, singing and street performances. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.
Would recommend the hotel thought the facilities available were excellent
Hope the staff are more aware to online booking platform and common understanding of itinerary in english.

It is walking distance to the wuhan stadium where we watched a concert till late. perfect location near the stadium and a wanda mall, perfectly clean and well-equipped. it is a bonus that this is a serviced apartment.
The Italian Restaurant food is not Italian food. There was no customers in this restaurant two nights in a row and we understand why. We had a table of six, three ordered chicken cordon blue and received chicken and shrimp. When they told the staff that they received the wrong food, that they did not order chicken and shrimp, the answer was that the restaurant was out ...
Would recommend the hotel thought the facilities available were excellent
spent one night here, because we like the citadines brand and this is one of their newest hotels in china. as a hotel it entirely lived up to what we expected and was excellent and also provided a good breakfast in the morning. it is a first class business hotel with cooking facilities in the room, but not, note, a washing machine. this was provided centrally, and wash...
Very worm welcome from hotel staff. Also surprise in welcome document on TV monitor when go into the room. All room equipment are new and in excellent condition.
Located was located near tickets counter & entrance to Wudangshan. Hotel provides service to help buy tics to beat the q. The best hotel in the area indeed. Size of the basic room was 45sqm with balcony. The beds were very soft and we had the best sleep (in fact compared to whole of China). Food in the area was bad, so eat at the hotel and DO NOT miss the breakfast as ...
the hotel is at the end of a small street adjacent to a large pedestrianized shopping area. the reception staff spoke limited english but endeavoured to meet my requests for information on the attractions of wuhan like the yelloew crane tower and the east lake. rooms were clean and a small plate of fresh fruit was delivered just after my arrival. complimentary toiletr...
We had a one night stay after our Yangtze cruise until the departure of our train to Zhangjiajie. We choose this hotel due to it is close to Wuchang railway station but once there we were suprised by the standard of this hotel. Nice, clean rooms and very friendly staff. Can really r...
The hotel in and by itself was very good, but the location was a bit far from all the sightseeing attractions. The staff were very nice and accommodating. One assistant manager, in particular, whose nave was Nikki spoke near to perfect English. The bathroom in my room was rather small. The St. Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort
I am quite satisfied with the hotel for its cleaniness, close proximity to shopping and restaurants. But I feel they should also improve the ambience for their restaurant as well as the breakfast they serve. Smoking are allowed in the lobby making non smokers feel irritated despite no smoking signs there. There are no bathtubs in the room, however it was indicated in t...
most of the stay was good. I had to mention to the morning staff at breakfast several times that the food on the trays was cold when it should be hot. I was not able to get good coffee. Just Nescafe which was not to my liking.

It was a nice one night stay with my girlfriend. I think it was worth the money i paid anyways.
NO
Great location. Near to metro
Smoking is allowed in this hotel. People in the room next door had their door open and stayed in the room all day smoking during both days we were there. The smoking and the pollution in wuhan caused me to get a sinus infection. Wish the hotel was no smoking! The room was too hot even though we called and had employees come adjust the thermostat.
Everything good. But all staff can't speak english.(But I think every hotel is same) I've got a problem when check out.Staff ask me to pay cost. I told him I already paid cost to Agoda by credit card but he only tell me wait and can't talk with me in english. The room was spacious and clean. And the price was reasonable. It is very convenient for any person who wish to travel to town by using the bus service. It is just across the road and the Bus No: 27 will come every 5 minutes.
I had a good stay and I have booked another stay
Very pleased with room quality, my 2 1/2 year old son enjoyed the "comforts" very much as did we. Check in was a little more complicated than need be and the hotels version of Nasi Goreng (In the restaurant) bore absolutely no semblance of similarity to the true recipe! Minor things, we loved hotel and would stay there again. At present there is major construction work...
I come here quite often and like the hotel. This time the pool was a lot busier than usual, this is because it was holiday season, hey ho. Just my preference, I like an emptyish pool when swimming. No matter. All was decent again except that for the 3rd time, despite me request, my room was too hot and stuffy and the aircon cold control inadequate. I mentioned it to th...
It's quite a new hotel. It's clean & the staffs are friendly. It has got all the facilities like a 4 or 5 stars hotel. There were very good facility but it was closed during I stay, why???? Food is terrible only the local, quite far from the city by walk and no convenience store near hotel.
On good side This is very nice and awesome afterall. However, this hotel can only accept domestic visa card, so people from other nationa should bring cash with them. They need to note on Agoda to guest to pay later at hotel & cant use Int’l card. One more thing is my room 1017 can’t adjust the cold water in bathroom. We were surprised at the level of English of the staff and how accomodating they were for all our needs. Service was the best we have experienced in China. And all was very reasonally priced for a five star ...
Excellent room, like good quality Best Western in USA. I am glad that we chose this hotel. Clean, good bed, toiletries, lots of space, nice tub and shower with unlimited hot water, A/C just fine. Overall good!
The hotel, overall, was a pleasant stay, although I was there for only one night. My room was called a suite, and it included a living space, a small kitchen, office space, dining space, a separate room (with a very large and comfortable bed) and an attached bathroom. It's a very nice room. While the service is quite good, many of the staff do not speak English well, b...
We stayed from nov 27 to dec 01, in an exec room. For the price, it is really good value for money! Room is clean and spacious. However, there was always this subtle stench smell from the ventilator in the toilet. Not sure if it was just our room... otherwise it is ok. The owner spent so much money to make the hotel look so grand but one could not even find one tea ...
Although the hotel is just 300m from Xiangyang Station, the food choice was limited, especially at night. Though the staff did not speak much English, they were very friendly and also gave us breakfast without us paying anything extra.
