Along with Jianghan pedestrian street with many shops and restaurants, Dorsett Wuhan Hotel is a good choice for travelers, even in business or as a tourist. Line 2 metro stations are 300-400m nearby which go directly to Wuhan Tianhe Airport. Also near Yangtze Great Bridge and Yellow Crane Tower. Staff are very helpful and generally good in English speaking. Check in and out is fast and easy with proficient FO staff. Rooms are spacious and worth for money. House keeping is also good and HK staff are always hospitable. Free breakfasts are acceptable with basic chinese and western morning dishes. I like two espresso coffee machines the most as coffee is fresh and thick and bcoz espresso is not popular in China, a country of tea. The restautant is large and well decor. Overall, Dorsett Wuhan hotel is one of best choice in the city. Thank you all staff and managers of the hotel.

Stayed a total of 4 nights. The hotel was not new but it was well maintained. The hotel is right in front of Hankou Railway Station, which have high-speed railway station, metro station, multiple bus stops. It is a very convenient location for traveling around Wuhan and there were many restaurants around also. The staff spoke very good English and was very professional. The room size was not so big for 5 stars hotel and its price.

This hotel is a few minutes walk from the bus terminal for tourist buses. I checked into this hotel as an IHG elite member I was allocated a club room with all the associated perks. It was spacious, well furnished and very quiet. I had an early train to catch and went for breakfast at 6.30am. It was chaos. There was not a vacant table anywhere, The few staff were overwhelmed.

I stayed in the hotel for two nights. I had one dinner buffet and one breakfast buffet in the hotels. The variety of the food is good but the quality could have been better for a five-star hotel. The staff in the lobby and the café shop are excellent, well-trained and friendly. As for the room, it is spacious for a double-bed room. Most of all, the location of the hotel is the best among its merits. It oversees the Yangtze River. It is really enjoyable to walk along the park along the river bank at both sunrise and sunset. Overall, I will definitely reside in it if I ever visit Wuhan again.

I would like to make a complain about the hotel room provided.The room i got is only 36 sq.m and without sofa. This is discrepant with the room i booked in agoda which is Superior 1 King Size Bed Best Unrestricted Rate-RAT(130sq.m with sofa) At the mean time, I was informed by the hotel that they do NOT have this kind of room. I hope that agoda will pay me the refund of this discrepant of rooms.

The price of a bit over RMB 400 was good. However, the room was not entirely convincing considering it's a 5-star hotel. First, our room was located below a kind of overhang/bridge of the building so that we couldn't see much from our window, except the concrete underside of said overhang and an alley. The top third of the window view was actually blocked by a concrete bar in maybe only 2 meters distance. That made the room feel a bit depressing. Second, there was a very loud whistling sound after flushing the toilet, loud enough to wake the other person up. Apart from that, the room was as one could expect, although not that new anymore.

The rooms are great. Not as spacious as their sister hotel, but nonetheless cosy and nice design details. Restaurants are good, beautifully designed, but when we dined at the Chinese restaurant there I wished there were more choices on the local cuisines, and not Cantonese food which honestly, mediocre with its standard. Breakfast is great - lots of choices with fresh produce. Not bad at all. Then comes the spa.... we booked a massage session trying to relax after a long and dreadful work week, upon arrival at the spa we were guided into the rooms, again beautifully designed, fully padded floors with mattress inlays, lighting dimmed to the perfect level, we got changed and getting ready for our long waited relaxing session. Masseuse walked in, background soothing music on, room temperature set, heavy eyelids... ready to indulge.... then 5 minutes later, Star War music pumping into our room! Soon we realised the banquet hall located directly below the spa rooms are rehearsing for a corporate annual dinner or some sort, our relaxing experience was COMPLETED RUINED. To be fair, Star War soundtrack ain't exactly my choice to be my massage background music. The noise disruption pretty much lasted the rest of the 55 minutes. We dd asked the masseuse but understandably they can't do much about it. We later asked the hotel manager to reflect this incident, although he did apologised for the 'misfortune', nothing was done about it.... RMB 1,400 (price for massage) down the drain... I do think that the Puyu is a good hotel in general (nice rooms, lobby lounge...), but needless to say I was very disappointed with our experience in the spa, and how the managerial staff has done nothing about it - I do expect a reasonable explanation & compensation gesture to show that the hotel value the guest's experience, and not just 'looking good'.

We have stayed in the Ramada Plaza hotel on many occasions and it seems to be losing some of its charm shown to us in the past. The rooms don't seem as clean as they used to be for example. The breakfast buffet is still quite good but not as good as it once was. The evening buffet in the revolving restaurant is definitely only a two-star affair or less. The venue is not clean and the meal is disorganized and the variety of food is second rate at best.

A new property at the new part of this 4th tier Chinese city, about 30 min from Wudangshan and about 10km from the city railway station. It is probably the best property in this city. The rooms are well decorated and bed was comfortable. As it is in the city, there are local restaurants in the next building. The cost of living is certain lower than the larger cities in China. I left early in the morning to catch the train to Wuhan and they were able to pack my breakfast for me to takeaway. I certainly will recommend this property to my friends.

I had a great time in this 5 star serviced residence. The price is soo cheap for all the amenities they offer there. Huge room, superb service. All the equipments in the room are first class. They even have a washing/ drying machine in the room, with washing detergent supplied every day. Shopping mall is right next door. ATM machine is down stairs. Receptionists speak perfect English, and very courteous and helpful. Cleaning staffs are very attentive and honest. Short distance to the Yellow Crane Tower, which is the top attraction in Wuhan. Taxi ride to there from the hotel is only 20 RMB. Taxi to and from the airport is about 80-100 RMB, and takes about one hour.

The stay was very good. However, it was the mid-autumn festival in China. The hotel raised it's rates during my stay there. The guest services manager wanted me to pay an additional 1,000 RMB. I refused because the rates were guaranteed by Agoda. After this discussion, the manager said I should do nothing, which I did. I never experienced this at any Agoda booked hotel. All in all the accommodations were very good.

Only issues were a non-working floor lamp that should have been replaced rather than taking up space; and housekeeping not replacing some needed toiletries and items on a daily basis. Breakfast was not included but recommend paying extra for it, it's fairly standard Chinese hotel buffet breakfast with some local specialties available, and the price is affordable. Good location about 10-12 minute walk from Guanggu (Optic Valley) subway terminus. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The service of staff, abundance of staff, quality throughout the hotel was of great excellence and far above our expectations and considerably under-stated on your website,- ulike many hotels, especially in China, who over-state ! We were also offered an upgrade to a suite as a further bonus although we did see the room grade we booked & this was equaly excellent - just slightly smaller but still massive & capacious. It was exceptional value for money. ( sadly you will see a review for another hotel we booked with you in Guanzhou that fell far short of our expetations ! )

They helpful and carefully service Help me to check even railway ticket because there is 2 railway station in Xiangyang.Happy with taxi service that hotel staff contact to take us to TangCheng city and go anywhere . I was there with my son for an immersion program in one of the schools. So everyday I have to book a taxi to the school, and its very difficult to get taxis in the morning. Taxis can only be book if u have DiDi set up in wechat (which I dun have). The concierge staff use his person to help me book taxis and paid for it first, what an absolutely amazing service!!! My son and I thoroughly enjoy our stay at New World Wuhan hotel for 2 weeks. We felt very at home. The room was EXCELLENT, clean and wonderful. If u r going Wuhan, I recommend u to stay at this hotel.

This is a modern hotel with English TV channels., those are hard to find in China. The bed was small a twin not a double nor a queen as stated on the advertisement. The bathroom was a 4 piece, cozy and had enough space. They have Wifi and a Lan. The buffet restaurant and most of the others restaurants were all closed by 9:PM except for Toucan Irish pub. Buffet breakfast is from 6:AM to 9:AM only. While I thought I had a free breakfast, it was not on my booking and I had to pay 126 RMB. Not that pricy but I thought it came with the room. The room had a nice view of the river and the scenery was very nice. I would return, as the room was comfortable and I rested well. Thank you Wuhan Holiday Inn Riverside.

First time visitor to Wuhan. Wuchang is a major train station and one of 3 fast train stations. Take the Wuchang Station, West Exit and when you get to the main street you will see the Hotel sign over the street above the buildings. There is a new train/metro entrance (H) that was about to open (Sep 2018) and it will bring you out on the correct side of the street and a left turn done the adjacent street 100m then a right turn 100m will get you to the hotel. The reception staff were great and I used a phone to translate from English to Chinese. I went out of town for two days and returned to stay so they were able to store my big suitcase. WiFI worked well once I found the code at the bottom of the key sleeve. I used taxis then found out how cheap and fast the Metro was. It is well signposted and you can not go wrong. Taxi from the Airport was 230Y but I took the metro back for 6Y. I purchased my train tickets on chinaticketonline from Australia, delivered to the Hotel

I loved it. I've been coming to China for a couple of years now and the rating system isn't exactly what it is in other countries. The span or quality for a supposed four star hotel can vary drastically. This was by far one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at. They even catered to a Valentines day request via e-mail with no problems at all. English and Mandarin friendly of course but not sure what other languages they might also know or have access to. Loved their breakfast also. Tons to choose from starting with fresh fruits and assorted cereals all the way to traditional style Chinese foods. Room service is reasonable but of course a little pricey compared to the street, but then again you are paying for convenience. Step outside the front door though and you are near any type of restaurant and convenience store you can think of. Hope this review enables some one to have an enjoyable stay.

Pros: Location is within the famous Jianghan Walking Street. There is a convenient store right next to the hotel. About 5-7 minutes walking distance to Jianghan Road Metro Station (Exit/Entrance C). Near to restaurants and cafe. Direct Metro to Tianhe airport T3, about 17 stops if I’m not mistaken from the Jianghan Road station, fare only RMB7, via Line 2, no transfer. Cons: Staff there hardly speak English. So just use google translate. I saw some review state that the staff are rude, I think they are not rude, it’s just that it may be their standard of PR, I also felt like they were shouting at me but I think it was like that all over the city 😂. I booked the promotion rate, the Business Room Type B since it was the cheapest, turned out it was at Level 6, but the lift only up to Level 5, so I had to carry my big luggage from Level 5 to Level 6. No offer from the hotel for assistance. The wifi was not working the whole 5 days I was there. Reported but still not working.
