The hotel in Hamburg was simply chosen for its proximity to the Eurolines Bus station. It was a short walk to and from here. The metro lines were also here, so it was easy to travel round the whole of the city with ease. The rooms were of suitable size, the showers were effective and there was not too much noise from the street outside.

Well If you want to save on your stay in Hamburg, this is your choice. For the cheap price you will get a tiny room and a decent breakfast. Thats all. But if you step out of the hotel in ANYTIME of the day, you will be met by a bunch of hookers standing around like soldiers on duty. So if you travel with kids dont stay there.
The hotel is a converted water tower in the heart of Hamburg, which makes for a unique stay. It is conveniently located and the rooms are well apointed. Staff are very friendly and there is an excellent restaurant.

They did not have my booking when arrived .It took them 35 mins to sort out a room for me which was very worrying. The hotel is good value clean and secure. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of all the major areas of the city, and is also a quick cab ride from the airport. All facilities at the A and O hotel were of a standard expected of a budget hotel. The hotel was easy to find using the subway, being only 3 stops from the main station. Good supermarkets very close to the hotel and breakfast was basic but filling. I would certainly recommend the hotel for a short visit to Hamburg for sightseeing with older children or friends.

just remember to check the booking confirmation about the city tax, do not pay double when you check in. sheets €3, luggage storage €3, no free breakfast, credit card payment needs to pay extra. location is just opposite of the metro and quiet because far from city centre. kitchen is good though.

A very small room with six beds in it, no air, no window. I did not used the bed. Really a very small room, I will not recommend this place to anyone.. Bathroom is in the basement and very uncomfortable.

The only downside is that it is far from the usual "center" of Hamburg and is more convenient by car than by public transport. But we were driving through so it was fine.

Very nice modern hotel, with rooms with huge tvs, big windows and nice atmosphere. Very beautiful downstairs, with candlelights on in the evening, perfect for having a cocktail! Walking distance to downtown, many cafes and restaurants in the area (st. georg) i would definitely go there again. Very nice breakfast too, and a nice closed garden nice in the summer.
Rooms are small and other than being close to the Hamburg Messe, there's no reason to be in this part of town. Food is not great at hotel but there are quite a few other options further down the block. No bath tub, apparently all rooms only equipped with showers. Despite being a new hotel, the walls are so thin you could hear the guest snoring next door.

this hotel is close to the airport but if you were travelling to Hamburg via trains then this place can be far. I was in Hamburg for SMM which located at Hamburg Messe, so indeed a good location which near the exhibition is definitely important, this hotel offers free shuttle bus to SMM every hour which is really convenient, even if you miss the bus, it's about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by taxi. room is a bit small, other than that the rest are ok.

I have stayed here a couple of times for the purpous of enjoy Hamburg. Especally for Christmas market in December, this is the best choice. Very friendly staff, nice bar and very good breakfast facilities. Walking distance to the shopping area and to a lot of restaurants. Parking the car in the garage downstairs, but it's sometimes tricky to find the way there....
Nice hotel - but a staff that doesn’t have any idea on how to check in. I used over 10 minutes to check in, and I was told that they stay wasn’t paid for - despite that I have booked and paid through the Agoda app. Anyways - we had a lovely room - and a lovely breakfast.
