A happy repeat customer. My family & I have chosen to stay here a few times whenever we visited Ipoh. The facilities are great, location is pretty central to all/most sites around town. Surroundings within the Royal Perak Golf Club is peaceful & tranquil with the convenience of the Clubhouse Cafe & Restaurant to dine at if you want a break from going out into the traffic again just to get your meals. Also can have Grab deliver to the Reception Desk, if I am not mistaken - but please do check with the Front Desk personnel to confirm if this is possible before doing so. FREE PARKING available on the premises for hotel guests - convenient & safe, located just beside/behind the block. You can unload your luggage onto the Concierge/Bellman Luggage Trolleys at the drive-in Reception Lobby first, before driving round the back to park. The Guards who are stationed on duty 24/7 at the RPGC entrance allows for a real secure peace of mind when you stay here. They have a variety of room/bed sizes & layout options to choose from, most if not all are set up like a small apartment with rooms separate from a living/lounging space. Living room area is equipped AC + Fan & multiple light sources. Furnishings include a sofa & armchair, cofee table & TV. A small kichenette counter area is equipped with a sink, 4-seater dining table, small fridge, coffee/tea bar + electric kettle, NO stove/cooking facilities. Room conditions are pretty standard - clean enough. All devices & amenities are in working order. Besides your selected bed sizes, rooms also come with AC + Fan, and is furnished with a vanity table with mirror, bedside tables + table lamps, luggage rack, wardrobe, hangers, laundry bag & disposable slippers. Ensuite bathrooms are a combo bath-toilet situation with shower only, NO bathtub. Towels, toilet paper, shower gels, shampoos, handsoaps provided. Only pet peeve is that they should include a handheld shower option instead of only having an overhead one. I have not other complaints apart from this. We had a wonderful one-night stay with our young daughter, and it was almost a perfect 5-star experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere for our family. The hotel’s location within the Royal Perak Golf Club area was a big plus—it felt exclusive and peaceful, with beautiful greenery all around. It’s an ideal spot for a short getaway, especially for families looking for a quiet and relaxing environment. One small downside was a slight smell in the toilet, which I suspect came from the curtain. It wasn’t a major issue, but it was noticeable. Other than that, everything else was truly impressive! Overall, a fantastic stay—comfortable, clean, and family-friendly. Would definitely come back again.
As usual whenever we travel to Ipoh, we would stay at RPGC Garden Hotel. The room is very spacious and clean. The location is so quiet and yet so close to the city. It is obviously our clear choice in Ipoh.
Location was very convenient as I attended Masonic events next door while the wife and child explored Ipoh. You'll definitely love this place if you golf. Breakfast included would've made our stay perfect.
