Where to stay in Onna
Onna hotels & accommodations

We started our Okinawa trip with having Rizzan as the first hotel to stay , which allowed us to travel around the Onna and Okinawa city area within a reasonable distance. Standing next to the seaside, the hotel offers great views and we especially enjoyed the local pub inside the hotel right nx to the beach. Breakfast was great. The only drawback is the amount of tour...

We stayed at Kafuu for 2 nights while on a quick family vacation to Okinawa. It's about a 45 minute drive north of Naha, an hour south of the aquarium, and close to several other major resorts, so overall it's a relatively central location. From the time we pulled up to the hotel and the attendants waved us in front of the lobby until we checked out, the service was im...

My wife and I hosted our wedding in beautiful Okinawa. I cant be more pleased with the staff at Hotel Moon Beach, the customer experience and overall facility were just excellent!! definitely recommended to every traveller who wants a good time near the Onna area.

It's a small simple resort hotel connected directly to Onna Beach. The beach is not excellent but quiet where you may really enjoy swimming and snorkelling any time. The rooms are well furnished and have seaview. The restaurant offers quality breakfast and dinner at very reasonable price. The hotel is an easy reach to all attractions in Onna area. An excellent pla...

The location is good with a private beach and beautiful sea view. Big parking lot for your car. Main building is old, and Annex building is older, I think. We booked 2 rooms and stayed in Annex building. The lobby is small, but looks OK. The first 2 rooms we got have nice layout with 2 beds and Tatami mat area, but have bad cigarette smell and carpet smell. For us who...

This hotel has a couple of private beaches where you can enjoy the sunset peacefully. Having been to 5* resorts with private beach in Bali & Greek,This beach goes to the top list, amaZingly clean and serene! In the main gate there is Lawson to provide you with whatever food/daily things you need. The hospitality is great, they work with attitude and will go above and b...

This hotel (hostel?) located around Onna Beaches, it was easily to get to beach and to have scubadiving, or any sea activities. It was a good location for the one who drove, at the middle of the island. It was the best brief stop for who were going to have plan around Onna and Nago. The place was very very clean, but the shower room is too small. To a person like my br...

Although many facilities were looking old, most of them could fulfill customer's need. Personal tools and hairdryer could be found in-room. There were swimming pool, gym room and car parking free for customers. The restaurant is located in high floor with perfect seaview and tasty food in breakfast. The location of the hotel is great. You will easy to reach any sights...

Stayed 2 nights for attending best friend ‘s wedding. We book a double room with a cheap price, the hotel assigned a 4 single beds room for me and my friend! What a surprised! The bbq garden was great, the staff don’t have good English The place was clean and have a very good view!

We love this hotel, our room is facing the ocean and very spacious. The washroom was very big and the staff were very nice and helpful. Got valet parking and 24 hr butler service in case you need anything. The food / drink offered during breakfast, afternoon tea & cocktail were impressed. Highly recommend for couples / those love resort style hotel.

It's a great experience spending Christmas time at Renaissance Okinawa. The room is clean and spacious with excellent seaview. We are greeted by very polite staffs whereever we go and the staffs are trying their best to provide service to us and being helpful where possible. My husband and I enjoy the food at the Japanese restaurant a lot, it is a fantastic exp...

Super equipped, awesome bathroom with jacuzzi, kitchen, sofa, etc... close to the beach and easy access to other places in Okinawa. Loved it. Will consider staying there again if given opportunity. Only regret: they have no queen or king bed, but at best 2 semi individual beds.

The hotel room with sea views is absolutely amazing. From the massive size of the room, its amenities and luxurious toiletries, bathrobes and towels are superb. I can’t fault it. The only let down in this hotel is the lack of food choices. If you have a car then you may be okay to get to other eateries. Most of the restaurants are located in the sister hotel Kari...

Stayed with my wife and 2 kids (1&4) for 2 nights and had a good time. The room had 2 queen beds, so plenty of room. The whole thing was clean and the staff was polite as you can find almost everywhere in JP. The breakfast is simple but ok. We have walked to the beach for picnic dinner and had great family time looking at the stars. TV has only 5 local channels. Parkin...

The room has an outdoor bathroom with ocean view, which is very romantic if you are traveling with your boyfriend/girl friend/spouse. The room is very big by Japanese standard. My room even has a cockloft. The hotel is at an excellent location for doing water activity in the Onna area. There are many very nice local restaurants a few minutes drive from the hotel.

I got lucky to find this place. A lot of lodging here in Okinawa cost. This was cheaper than I imagined. Once I got to the room I was amazed at the over style, and the layout of the hotel itself. The staff was very friendly. It will cost you 500 yen a day to park but it is well worth it. There is plenty to do with in 15-20 minutes (maybe less) driving and the bea...

We came in a group of 5. The condominium is clean and comfortable. All the three rooms are in the ground floor. There is also a shower room and a toilet on the ground floor. Second floor was the living room with open kitchen. There is another bathroom and toilet on the second floor. The Jacuzzi is on the balcony on the second floor. We didn't have the leisure to use th...

The hotel is situated at a magnificent area - Seragaki Island. There are two proprietary beaches, well suitable for family sunbath and swim in sea water; in addition the hotel has Lagoon, as well as a huge outdoor and general indoor pool - these are awesome. The sea view room has one of the best ocean view in Okinawa - able to see sunset, and just facing the ocean wit...

Price was good, service, room were all good. Only problem is finding the hotel place is very difficult. I got a map code from google but, it was not specific. so got a tel number from google again to find the exact place. however phone number I got from google was wrong, so I went to Okinawa city hall which was far far away from this hotel. wasted a day to find this ho...

The house is very clean and well equipped with most of the things you need as a traveller. The host, Tom is very friendly and helpful. The house is centrally located in Okinawa with most major attractions within a 1 hour and 15 minutes drive, no matter you are going south to shopping or north to sight seeing. The only thing that we do not like so much about are all ...

The Moon Beach Palace is a hotel within the Moon Beach Hotel. It seems to be a slightly higher-end section of the Moon Beach, but has a separate front desk, located on the third floor of the Moon Beach. Yes it's strange. It's all one building—there's no difference from the outside of the rooms. But inside, the rooms are a little larger. Ours had a small kitchen area wi...

I'm not sure whether the owner can maintain communication in English or not, but the very good thing is, he picked me up from the nearest bus stop. Tourists can also reach this minshuku in around 30 minutes walk from the nearest bus station. The room is spacious and clean, comfortable for two persons. I was pretty lucky that the owner's lady gave me Okinawan homemade d...

Solo traveller to Onna. The first time of staying in local hostel, do have surprise to me. The hostel is close to road, extremely clean inside, all public bathroom & washroom are great in hygiene. Perfect location, just beside Moon Beach. The couple who run this property are lovely and welcoming. Great value if you're staying to attend an event at Hotel Moon Beach next door (we had a wedding). Complimentary parking on site, and simple breakfast with tasty coffee was available. Short walk to convenience stores and bars/restaurants. Just book it!

I LOVE this place, the photos don't do the place justice. It's comfortable and roomy, so much so that I FORGOT that japan has small hotel rooms. It's the best value I've ever got for such a beautiful place. The owner furnished as if they were staying there themselves. Every room (corridor, toilet, balcony) has door to separate from the bedroom. The bathroom has a large...
Cheap places to stay in Onna

The only negative thing was finding the hotel, but that's not the hotel's fault, Japan still has to learn that having street names and house numbers is a good way to find your way around. The room was clean, the decor very cute and it was a very peaceful area. Now that I know where it is, I will visit this hotel again.

Pension may not quite be the right term, these are appartments in 4 storey building. When you get there it is good to have a map with because the taxi driver didn't know how to find it. The owner don't live there and while there is a reception it is usually unattended. The name of the place is only written in Kanji so I was glad that the taxi driver could read it. He a...

My family lived there for two nights. Tourists need to drive a car to go to the hotel. The location of the hotel is not easy to find. We spent a long time to ask somebody to help us to find out the hotel. The hotel is a apartment. We lived in the whole apartment because I booked 4 rooms and 12 family members lived there. There are two floors in this apartment. Two room...

Great room size & view over the harbour from the balcony - perfect for watching sunsets. Friendly staff. Nice kitchen area but no crockery/cutlery/pans provided (despite asking at reception for some). Good breakfast in the bar area (need to pre-book the day before) & food/drinks ok in the evening, too. Would stay here again.

I am very lucky to have chosen Nangoku Booya as my friends' abide is full and turbed out I lived way better than they do. Booya is a wonderful cottage with all the facilities you need plus the charm and inspiration which you can write a novel at. The amenities are complete, clean and chic. But the most beautiful part are the hosts Baba-san and Ueka-san, who is most won...

Lenny and Komaki were great hosts; welcoming, unobtrusive, and very knowledgeable about the island. Maeda is a great position, north of the island's urban sprawl and on the doorstep of rural Okinawa. Very nice local beaches within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable with access to the neat garden where you really should have the breakfast.
