"The apartment I rented couldn't be handed over, so I spent a week in a single room at this youth hostel. The price is quite reasonable. The hotel is very clean, especially the toilets and showers. The sound insulation in the room is a bit lacking, but wearing earplugs makes it okay. The biggest highlight is the kitchen on the first floor, which has coffee beans and pour-over equipment, so you can brew your own coffee. It rained the whole week I arrived in Tokyo, so being able to enjoy a cup of pour-over coffee was really pleasant. In terms of location, it’s pretty close to the subway, and you can manage with a large suitcase. There aren't many large commercial centers nearby, so dining options are limited. However, there are quite a few public baths around here. If you enjoy hot springs, you can go soak. It’s really comfortable."

"It was inexpensive for a locked private room! The toilet and microwave were shared, but I think that's to be expected! The large public bath was definitely like a hot spring, and even after getting out of the bath, there was a scent and smoothness to my skin like I had just been in a hot spring! I recommend it if you're traveling alone and it's close to your destination!"

"It is very close to the station, and there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it an excellent location. The staff's presence is limited, and there might be a wait for the shower rooms, so you need to think ahead and plan your actions. You'll be required to enter a password not only for the entrance but also when entering your room, so make sure to remember it; otherwise, you will be locked out. Considering the price, I found it to be a very good accommodation."

"Nippori Station is just a 5-minute walk away, so it was convenient to use the Skyliner. There was a convenience store on the way to the accommodation, so I withdrew cash. It's unfortunate that the elevator was broken, but it was okay since I only had a backpack. There was an extra fee for towels, so I brought a lightweight towel and hung it on the clothes hanger. There was a table attached to the wall, which made it easy to place small items, and the blackout curtains worked well. The bed space was relatively spacious, and the bedding was clean. When going up the bed stairs or turning over while lying down, there was some creaking sound from the wood, but all the guests were quiet. There were plenty of sinks, and only the shower booth at the far end was available 24 hours, so I didn't mind the shower noise. The hot water came out well, and the provided body wash and shampoo lathered nicely. The hairdryer was available in the lounge during late hours, which was nice. There were free vending machines for water, coffee, green tea, sports drinks, and apple juice, and they provided a microwave, wooden chopsticks, and spoons, so I ate what I bought from the convenience store in the lounge. The counter staff were friendly, and the cost for two nights was around 5,900 yen, a very affordable price, so I had a comfortable stay."

"I had such a lovely stay here. It’s a quaint little corner of the city, located right in a charming shotengai shopping street, so there are plenty of amazing options for food and shopping nearby. The nearest station is only about a 10-minute walk away, and you can easily reach downtown within 30 minutes. The guest house itself was absolutely spotless and so well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable and relaxing. What made this place truly special, though, was the couple who run the guest house. They were incredibly warm and welcoming from day one. Together with their lovely daughter, they created such a homely atmosphere that it genuinely felt like staying with family. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. I’ll definitely be back again soon!"

"There's a saying "for the price." If you go to a cheap place and expect expensive facilities, that's ridiculous. I recommend this place; I was satisfied for the price. It feels a bit dated, but as expected from a Japanese accommodation, the service was friendly, and there were no bugs when I stayed. Also, like typical Japanese places, there was a jacuzzi and a mini sauna inside, which was fascinating. There was even a somewhat automatic toilet that opened and closed, and the sink and mirror were separate from the shower room, which was convenient. As for the location of the accommodation, there's no need to say much - it's just a 2-3 minute walk from the very excellent Nippori Station. By the way, Nippori Station is a great transfer station for traveling around Tokyo, and it's a strategic hub where you can easily catch the Skyliner to and from Narita Airport."

"I planned to use the Skyliner, so I booked accommodation near Nippori Station, and it took about 40 minutes from Narita Airport to Nippori. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Nippori Station. There are restaurants, convenience stores, izakayas, and bathhouses nearby. Inside the hotel, there is a vending machine and a 24-hour coin laundry and dryer (for a fee), which was especially useful for washing clothes during the hot summer. The room I stayed in was a Standard Double Room A; although the hallway near the entrance was narrow, the room was spacious enough to easily accommodate two 24-inch suitcases. The bathroom had a shower booth, towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, and body wash, and other amenities could be taken from the front desk as needed, which was convenient. They changed the towels daily and made the bed, and they also cleaned the room and bathroom, which I really appreciated. The hotel itself was well-maintained, so I had a pleasant stay. Additionally, it was convenient to use the luggage storage service before check-in and after check-out. For reference, there is a decent bathhouse right across from the hotel, which seems great for relieving fatigue. Most importantly, the hotel staff were always bright and friendly, making my overall satisfaction with the hotel very high! If I have the chance next time, I would love to return to this accommodation in Nippori :)"

"Excellent value for money! First of all, it's very close to Nippori, and a direct 30-minute ride to Narita Airport. The room is very clean, with no unpleasant odors. Though small, it has all the essentials, and all the facilities are available. The shower is very convenient, and they even provided pajamas. The reception staff is very friendly, making me feel wonderful about my first solo trip abroad right from the start 😊 Plus, there are free drinks available for self-service~ I recommend it to everyone."

"A place in Tokyo, Japan where you can feel tranquility. It's a 12-minute walk to the Tokyo Metro station, so while it's a bit of a walk, you can use the pass. It takes about 30 minutes by subway to Shinjuku and Shibuya, but considering the price, it seems reasonable. The elderly hosts are very kind; however, if you think your conversation with the grandfather will take a long time, it's recommended to mention you have a schedule to leave quickly. The bathroom and shower are located outside and are very clean. Shampoo and body wash are provided. In conclusion, it's the ideal accommodation for a man or two who just wants to sleep at night. However, in winter, they don't turn on the boiler and only provide steam, making the air quite dry, which made it hard for me to sleep. Those with sensitive bronchial conditions should think carefully. Anyway, I have the intention to revisit."
