Mission Valley hotels & accommodations
Great facility. Remodeled rooms in Royal Palm Tower are great! Rooms in the Regency not so much. Staff were Awesome, helpful and courteous. The location is the best part of the experience. Central and close to all the major attractions!
We looked at the Best Western, but decided on The Kings Inn for 4 reasons: 1. Literally half the cost $400 vs. $800 2. Free parking -other places charge anywhere from $15 to $20 per day! 3. Great reviews/ recently remodeled 4. No daily service fee/room fee/hidden fee as many of the other places we looked at did. Highlights: 1. It was clean. Our room was cleaned ev...
This was my second year staying 5 days just minutes from my son's home. The setting and landscaping of the property rivals a Hawaiian resort! This is overall a 3-4 star motel. The rooms are not posh, but very clean, well-maintained, and include most amenities of luxury hotels. The swimming pool and hot tub are also clean and we'll maintained. All staff are very friendl...
Upgraded to a suite to accomodate our higher floor request.
The location of the hotel is rather far from anywhere else so its necessary to drive to stay at this hotel. The nearest shopping mall is Fashion Valley and the trolley is 10 min away by bus; however we never did succeed in getting the bus - it doesnt seem to follow the bus schedule! The rooms are nice, cozy and has free internet. We ordered pizza delivery the first n...
Stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. It was cheaper than some of the other hotels in the area. Room was clean and neat, everything in good order. Bed was comfortable, nothing to complain about. Wifi was easy to use and relatively fast. Hotel doesn't provide complimentary bottled water, but they give away a free metal bottle for you to fill up water from the fresh water di...
Very helpful staff, great service, great value for the price. Somewhat noisy because of the highway, depending on the room that you get.
Cleanliness is important to me and Crowne Plaza never fails. But just like all grand hotels are, there is no breakfast, no DIY laundry room and no free parking. That is not too much of a problem if you drive, as you can easily drive to mission valley to get food. The main reason we chose Crowne Plaza San Diego Mission Valley was that it provides a coach bus to the Sea ...
The staff was great! Being from out of town we had lots of questions, and it never felt as if we were bothering the staff. Every staff member took the time to make sure our questions were completely answered. We also had the same person cleaning our room and I must say she was great. The room was so clean and organized every time and she also did it around our busy sc...
We stayed 2 nights with our 18 month old. It had been raining and there werent any signs warning us that it would be slippery anywhere. The pool was really dirty though. The room itself was clean. The bathtub needs a little work as far as the bottom being patchy but it was clean. Heater worked excellent. The tv was small but we watched lots of great movies. The mini fr...
Not fancy but very nice, clean and modern. Rooms are nicely appointed. Excellent location in Mission Valley near Balboa Park and Downtown with easy access to beaches, Sea World, the Embarcadero, USS Midway, Maritime Museum and San Diego Bay tours. Ideal for tourists on a moderate budget.
Kitchen was great, well equipped. Rooms were nice. Expensive, but it was the best value for the money with other options given. In Hotel Circle, so you have to drive everywhere. Pet friendly for an added $75 fee and parking also is charged nightly. So, need to inquire about added costs.
Everything about Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Diego - Mission Valley stood out to me. Affordable, Super clean, Amazing room service staff and front office staff. Family friendly, peaceful, relaxing. Beautiful clean pool and hot tub. Great breakfast choices. They have something for everyone. *the only 1 thing I would change from my entire hotel experience is the pa...
The stay at the hotel was very pleasant and the staffs were very friendly. Free breakfast was provided during the stay and it was very delicious. I will go back to this hotel if I am in San Diego.
Some my fault. I didn’t read far that cleaning daily was $10/day. Breakfast was coffee if made and a muffin the size of a golf ball or snack bars. All said for the the extra $10 I could have had a regular hotel
The room was nice and clean. But the room desperately needs soundproofing. You can hear other people quite loudly from all directions. I could hear people in the hallway as though they were in the room. I could hear the people next door speaking. And I could hear every step the people upstairs took.
The Atwood is probably great for the location being in the hotel circle area. We were apparently the last to check in hence we had the room on the 2nd floor and there are no elevators/lifts. We had to carry our luggage up a really long flight of steps which was a real chore. I also had to carry my daughter up and down the stairs. The staff was not too friendly and said...
