"Kudos to the hotel team.. It was a great experience to stay at Nirwana Resort for Ironman Bintan . The communication with customer service was efficient and replies received promptly . I like the hassle free transfer for bike from the ferry terminal and to Lagoi.. On race day, breakfast started at 4am which was perfect for catching a quick bite and coffee. There were 2 buses at each session for transferring participants to Lagoi. Hotel taxi at concierge was also effortless and pickup time punctual. I arranged hotel taxi to meet a friend at nearby resort and for pickup the next day. Taxi pickup was perfect. Professional and perfect event hotel for Ironman Bintan . i shall come back again "

"The hotel is right next (5mins walking) to Plaza Lagoi which is a mall with only few shop (massage, grocerries, souvenir, restaurants, 3d art museum). The area of this hotel is abit ‘die’. Hence, choose to stay at this hotel is the best choice cause they provide enough entertainment (free for residence) for u to kill ur empty time. My partner and i had much fun enjoy their facilities (wii, ps4, snooker, karaoke, watching movie at their in house theater). Not to forget their rooftop swiming pool, that definately a bonus! The staff there treat us politely and with a smile on the face all the time too! Overall Grand Lagoi Hotel is AMAZING but if the price could be cheaper that would be even better! Looking forward to stay again at this hotel, good job!"

"Went for family and friends short trip, 3 days 2 nights in this Resort. We book for Angsoka Villa, when we arrived the staff managed to get a sea facing unit for us, but need to wait till 4pm to check in. Was a little surprise that club buggy was provided for a villa units. Was happy and satisfied with the good service of the staff, spending whole day at the pool, seaside or activities centre with family is sufficient. But if you wish to go out, have to take the transport provided by hotel to go to nearby Plaza Lagoi, which is 15 mins away, not much things there, mini mart, hawker food (yeah! we took hawker food there) and massage centres. Price of the resort is Singapore standard and outside price is slight cheaper. Was feeling very relaxing when staying in villa, comes with private pool, further walked few steps to reach the beach. If you are going in large group highly recommend to take the villa, can fit more than 8 pax, of course some sleep in sofa. "

"We celebrated our first year wedding anni in Bintan, just a last minute short getaway. Although there was no response to my email prior to the stay, I was perfectly happy with the Lagoi Bay Villa! I was hesitating on my choice of stay in Bintan as other accomodations are as competitive especially since the waterpark was up. However, we preferred to feel exclusive and chillax in our private pool hence we went ahead with Lagoi Bay Villa. There was free terminal transfer to the villa, a staff would hold onto the Villa logo signage. The villas are named after Bali's famous states, mine was Lovina. Our villa was exactly the same as the pictures we found online. It was huge, clean, comfy, well-maintained; even the huge toilet with bathtub excited us. My favourite facility would be the partially sheltered outdoor shower in the gardens. Spacious for big-sized bodies. Even if it rained, you could have a nice hot hot shower. No mosquito for me, only one lizard at the kitchen.... but there was one 5cm long spider which entered from the gardens but I guess it was part of having stayed near the nature. There is no hair dryer and iron if you need any. Service staff were very friendly. They recommended me for massage and local cuiyong kelong seafood which cost IDR 67,000. The private car transport provided by the villa only cost IDR 250,000. I used it from 4pm to 8pm not sure about the specific timing. It was walking distance to the beach and Lagoi Plaza. The plaza had very few shops. There were one Chinese restaurant, one coffeehouse and few local cafes as well as one minimart, some massage parlours and souvenir shops. Pretty much nothing to do here but if you love being quiet and less touristy place, yes you may visit. Everything was great although it was a 2D1N trip. We could choose from Traditional, american or continental breakfast too we had in-villa breakfast. My ferry from Singapore to Bintan was clam but was chokey on my return trip, felt abit nauseous. Rainy season thoug"

"Lany, one of the staff there was really helpful ans attentive! Also, the guy with the blue hair? Super helpful too! Even though the place was swarming with noisy Chinese people that time, we did enjoy the place. Beautiful beach, the pool was a bit small but you can try night swimming which is great. Breakfast buffet is the same in cassia but they transfer breakfast to Angsana every Tuesday so you have other options to try. Room is big for 2 people, has veranda, complete with kitchen utensils. Toothbrush and 2 small toothpaste available at the room, they replenish 2 bottles of water every morning. You can take free shuttle from angsana (next to cassia) to plaza lagoi where we had our money exchanged (sgd to rph). Few options for snacks and drinks at market 23 in cassia but you can find more at the convenience store at plaza lagoi. The only mall where there's hardly people roaming around, quite, a bit sad but we did purchase few items from there. Just book the free shuttle from frontdesk"

"Moving around treasure Bay is seamless on buggy which can be called easily using messenger. Staffs are very friendly: eg: 1) there was a staff who helped us to stop a shuttle bus to lagoi plaza when the bus was about to leave the Canopi. 2) staffs on patrol duty follow us and ensure that we are not lost while looking for our tent. 3) wakeboard staff brought me to a nearby top up area then to activity centre which is far from the wakeboard park on scooter because the nearby cashier had issues processing it. Breakfast meals at marine cafe are great! However, the cons are: 1) it does not offer as many Sea sports as other resorts (eg nirwana) offer. 2) It does not have any in-guest promotions for food or any activity besides a complementary treasure Bay entrance ticket (excluding any activity) and breakfast. All activities rates are the same for in-guests and visitors. 4) it is newly renovated so many attractions are still in the process of building and not much restaurant choices"

"Would recommend couple to spend a couple more dollars to get the deluxe tent to enjoy the indoor jacuzzi and complimentary electric scooter/bike. My partner and I get to ride the electric scooter/bike out of the compound to the nearby hawker centre and Lagoi Plaza. Staff are friendly and efficient. Your arrival and departure will be well-taken care of by the staff; complimentary land transfer will be arranged for you. The tent is clean and spacious. Extra drinking water can be requested at no extra cost. However, birthday cakes are chargeable and it doesn’t come cheap. I requested for a cake and was informed that a 15 x 15 cm cake costs about SGD$68. It was delicious but definitely not worth the money spent. Overall, I will recommend this place to couples, friends and families. This is a place where I will return for another trip! "
