This trip was a long-prepared journey for our family. From our teenage nephew to our 80-year-old grandmother, it was a special family trip with three generations together, so we had to be very careful in choosing our accommodation. To get straight to the point, we had an amazing time. The main reason we chose this accommodation was its location right in front of the sea. As soon as we opened the door of our accommodation, the beach unfolded before us, making it perfect for morning and evening strolls. In the evening, the entire family walked together while watching the sunset, and in the morning, the early risers got to see the sunrise... This naturally led to more conversations among family members, and it was really special for everyone, including our nephew, grandmother, and parents, to enjoy the same moments together. Without a doubt, the most popular spot for our family at this accommodation was the sea sauna! Our parents’ generation and grandmother especially enjoyed it. They said it relieved all their travel fatigue, and they went every day without missing a single one. Thanks to that, they felt refreshed and had great sleep, and there were many compliments about it. In the morning, thanks to the bakery-café inside the accommodation, everyone started their day leisurely. The freshly baked bread and a cup of warm coffee made the kids excited about the delicious bread, while the adults enjoyed relaxing conversations. It was wonderful that we didn’t have to go far, as this aspect was really convenient and nice for a family trip. The rooms were very tidy as well. Since the facilities were recently renovated, I was pleased with the condition of the bedding, the cleanliness of the bathroom, and the overall room condition. Hygiene and comfort are really important when several generations share a space, and I had no worries about that at all. The rooms were bright and well-ventilated, making it perfect for a three-generation family trip. Above all, what stood out was the friendliness of the staff. With a variety of ages among us, we had many requests and questions, but they always responded kindly with a smile, which we greatly appreciated. Our parents’ generation really liked the way they greeted us first and took care of us. At first, I was worried about traveling with everyone from teenagers to seniors, but thanks to this accommodation, I realized there was no need to worry at all. This family trip accommodation will probably be a memorable experience. Since it’s a trip with my parents, I was really concerned about choosing the lodging, but ultimately, I made a great choice. Everything from the location, facilities, and service was satisfactory. The first thing I loved was the location! Right in front of the accommodation was the beach, so as soon as we checked in and unpacked, we went out for a walk on the beach, and that time enjoying the smell of the sea was so nice. We were able to watch the sunset in the evening and the sunrise in the morning, creating special memories with my parents. We took a lot of photos too 📸 I really want to recommend the seawater sauna inside the accommodation! Throughout the trip, my parents mentioned several times how the sauna helped them relieve their fatigue. Ending the day in the warm seawater sauna made me feel relaxed both physically and mentally. I felt it was truly an optimized space for family trips. In the morning, we leisurely started our day with bread and coffee from the bakery cafe inside the accommodation. There was no need to go out and search for breakfast; we could simply go downstairs and enjoy freshly baked bread with a cup of coffee, which was a complete healing time🥐☕ Such little comforts are really important during a trip. I also really liked our room. It felt newly renovated, so the bedding was really clean, and the air in the room was pleasant. Even though my parents and I are fairly sensitive, we didn’t have any issues with the bedding or cleanliness. The ventilation and natural light in the room were good, making our stay comfortable. Above all, what stood out the most was the service from the staff. The trip to Sokcho with my family was a very satisfying and enjoyable one, thanks to Kensington Resort! Located right in front of the sea, the sound of the waves that gently filled the mornings and evenings helped us sleep well and start our days on a positive note! Personally, I love Sokcho and visit at least five times a year, but it felt a bit unfair that this was my first time at Seorak Beach Kensington Resort because it was so reasonably priced, and the staff was incredibly kind! I thought we might be disappointed by the lack of entertainment facilities like other resorts, but for me as a mother of two sons, we had a great time without feeling like we were missing anything! As soon as I woke up in the morning, I would go out to play in the sand, and in the evening, I had wonderful conversations while walking around the beach with my husband and kids. It was such a great time~ I particularly recommend the ocean view at this resort; just sitting on the balcony and listening to the sound of the waves while looking out at the sea was pure happiness! This is my first time writing a review while using Agoda all the time! One more thing to mention is that the seawater sauna is really great! In Seoul, it's hard to find a clean sauna unless it's a 5-star hotel, but this place is well-managed, considering how many people are there, and the seawater bath is exceptional! It's not inferior to any hot spring~ I plan to visit Seorak Beach Resort again soon!!

The child who studies away from home wanted to see the East Sea for the family trip during vacation, so we booked Kensington Seorak Beach, and it exceeded our expectations. First of all, the sea is incredibly beautiful, and the accommodation is also clean and tidy after renovation. The lobby has Ashley Buffet, a bakery, a local specialty shop, and a convenience store, so we could fully enjoy our rest without the inconvenience of going out for meals, which is a big advantage. Above all, the kindness of the staff is the best. Especially, the customer service attitude of Mr. Choi and Ms. Lee, who helped during check-in and check-out, was truly outstanding. The accommodation is excellent, of course, but the good experiences with the staff left a stronger impression, making it a satisfying trip for the whole family. Special thanks to you!! I highly recommend this place and I would definitely come back 10000%!

“The best accommodation that satisfies the whole family, from teenagers to those in their 80s! A healing place that transcends generations.”
This family trip was the most generationally diverse journey in our family's history. From teenage nieces and nephews to an 80-year-old grandmother, it was truly a big family trip that brought together three generations, which made choosing accommodations quite burdensome and worrisome. However, this place completely alleviated those concerns and turned out to be the perfect space! The best part was the location of the accommodation. As soon as you step outside the door, you’re right by the sea! Regardless of age, everyone loves a beach walk. In the evening, the whole family enjoyed a stroll on the beach while watching the sunset, and in the morning, the early birds in the family got to see the sunrise… Thanks to those scenes, this trip became even more special. My grandmother kept saying how much she loved walking by the sea with her grandchildren 🌅 And we can’t forget about the seawater sauna. It was enjoyed not just by the older generation like my grandmother and parents, but also by our generation. It was especially soothing for the elders, so after relaxing in the sauna every night, a good night’s sleep was guaranteed! My grandmother’s face brightened up after her sauna visits, and it made me feel good too. In the morning, the bakery-café inside the accommodation was a big hit! The kids were excited about the freshly baked bread, our generation enjoyed a leisurely morning with coffee, and the elders had a comfortable meal with warm tea and bread, leaving everyone satisfied. When traveling as a family, such spaces are incredibly important, aren’t they? The guest rooms were renovated, so everything from the bedding to the bathroom was really clean and comfortable. Even families sensitive about hygiene, from kids to seniors, had nothing to worry about, which was very satisfying. The ventilation was good, and temperature control was easy, making it perfect for multiple generations to stay together. Above all, what impressed me the most was the kindness of the staff! When families with varied generations move together, there are bound to be many requests and questions, but the staff attentively addressed each of them. My parents were especially pleased to see the staff greet and engage with the elders first :) Ultimately, I think this trip can be summed up as "a journey where everyone felt comfortable." From teenagers to those in their 20s, 40s, 60s, and even 80s — Even with different generations and tastes, everyone was satisfied with the accommodations. Beach walks, seawater sauna, bakery-café, clean rooms, and friendly service… With all this, wouldn't it qualify as a healing destination that transcends generations? During our next family trip, all of us eagerly agreed to return here. If you’re planning a trip with multiple generations, I highly recommend this place with confidence! You won’t regret it 💕
