The hotel was clean and very conveniently located to the mountain to hike and sightsee. However, when we checked in, there was an issue where the proprietor said we hadn't reserved a room big enough for four people. So, he wanted to charge us for an extra person. He finally agreed to generously "upgrade" us to a room that looked exactly like the pictures we had seem on this app, and not charge extra, but it seems this app does not communicate well with this hotel about which room is being reserved and how many people can fit/are booked

The hallway also had a musty smell. Luckily, the room itself didn’t smell, but there was mold in the bathroom, on the walls, and even on one of the pillows—so I had to swap it out. After seeing how unclean things were, I took my shoes off inside, but honestly, I wasn’t sure how clean the floor really was. The location, view, and staff were all good, but the hygiene was a dealbreaker. Sorry, but I don’t think I’d come back. An old building and bad cleanliness don’t always go together, but in this case, it was both.
A decent, affordable and clean hotel in the east of Jeju. I stayed for 2 nights and was able to explore the places I wanted to see around that area and there are buses that go straight to Seogwipo or Hamdeok beach.. Hotels in Jeju don’t provide tooth brushes so just bring your own but they have the other basics.
The hotel location is very strategic, close to bus stop, close to tourist attraction, minimarkets and restaurants. If you choose an ocean view room, you can see a very beautiful sunset.

Room is nicely designed/painted & spacious & clean, with good view of Seongsan Ilchulbong facing front (alto with some distance) and seaside at the back of hotel. Bed is comfortable. Just few mins walk from bus stop to hotel and about 10mins to Seongsan Ilchulbong . Great place to stay if u want to catch sunrise at Ilchulbong and gotta get up early and just walk 10mins to reach. Many restaurants nearby. Buses to Jeju city and other tourist destination can be conveniently taken from that bus stop. I booked 1 night and ended up extended my stay there for another night.
