"The staff were polite and patient, checking in was a breeze. They do require a $100 deposit upon check-in so be aware. It seems that due to the low price and location there are alot of folks on hotel vouchers staying there. However, it is safe and clean on the inside. Great value if you just need a place to stay for the night in San Diego. "

Above standard motel with nice staff and lots of travel info available. Wash basin separately located next to the bed which was a bit weird. Overall it is a great place to stay en route a road trip."

"We'd stayed for around a week there. The car could be just parked outside the door. The breakfast has limited choice, and not tasty at all. Do not expect much on the breakfast. Nevertheless, there were starbucks and cheap restuarants just next to the motel that it's much cheaper than those located in downtown. Supermarkets and TK were found next to the motel that you could find lots of cheap goods there. Just 15-20 min drive to downtown, and it's not difficult to find a car park. Driving is definitely a perfect choice travelling in San Diego."

"Superb location, wonderfully comfortable beds and quiet location this hotel is a must if your looking for location, location location. With its own marina The Dana offers a perfect setting for staying in San Diego but away from hustle bustle of city. Minutes away from everything attraction and on the waters edge can highly recommend . Staff very welcoming and helpful. Had a meal at cafe , good food but at night would have liked a little more light at the table. An outside setting a candle alone lacked a little light to see what I wa eating. But the food and service were again very good . "
