But we would like to mention bad point for their improvement as follows. 1) Room service of drink & food is so high price. 2) No hot water electric kettle without coffee auto server 3) A glass part of desk room light was broken for staying all day. "I normally dont do reviews but I really enjoyed my stay. The location of the hotel is the key. It is at the heart of downtown. Near Gaslamp area. Staff was very friendly. I did not had any personal convenience, so I was looking for hotel like that which is in close proximity to major attractions Only bad part was the wifi connection."

"Beautiful old hotel. It has had some major reno’s. Basic rooms, ok size, queen bed with small square pillows. But nice ensite, AC, nice decor. Love the decor around the hotel. The whiskey bar, Dinning rooms have amazing decor. The staff are friendly, chatty, room made every day. Located in a quite one way street. But so many restaurants just a minute walk away. Tip, get a king room with a balcony. Only two things, no fridge in the room and the Horton holds functions and it is noisy. The functions stop at 10pm. "

"We are extremely pleased with our 11 night stay in this Westin Hotel. The receptionist was nice enough to assign an ocean view room to us and the room was beautiful. My wife said the bed was the most comfy one she ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was nice too. You can't find a better loation than this: right in the downtown area and close to everything, but far enough from the noisy gaslamp area so you don't need to worry about being waken up by some loud party in the middle of night. The only things that we are not satisfied with are that only valet parking is available and the free internet will kick you out every hour"
