"We’ve stood at Kona Kai many times over the years, it’s always a great place. This time we were disappointed. As soon as we walked in our room we noticed it a bit warm although the ac was running, we figured it was just turned on since the room had just been serviced before our check in. We lowered the temp. down to 70, give it sometime and go cool down/relax by the pool with our 1 year old daughter. We returned a couple hours later and the room was still warm, we inspected the unit/noticed the unit was barely blowing air and was room temperature at most. We then lowered the temp down to 68 degrees and the lowest (preset) it went down to. We proceeded to get ready and head out for an early dinner. When we returned the room was the same temperature no change. This time we noticed the floor was wet from the unit leaking. We called front desk and were told if no tech was available, it would be serviced following day. No use to us then, we were checking out in morning. "
