I had booked the Corner King room for the view. Definitely was not disappointed. Stayed there for one night only as San Diego was a spontaneous trip decided the day before and booked the room the day of. The hotel reminds me of a Vegas hotel. Very grand. It's off the ocean/bay so it's not close to the gaslamp district; that's where Lyft comes in handy. Do not take the ...
We enjoyed our stay at the Omni. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The rooms are pretty spacious. They provide complimentary earplugs in the rooms near the train. Be aware that free wifi is in the lobby but you will have to pay for wifi in the room. The $40/day charge for valet parking is the kicker. Fortunately, right across the street is a lot that charges $15/...
We were attending the Paul McCartney concert in Petco Park and decided to stay at the Hilton Bayfront because it's right across the street from that venue. The hotel is right on the bay with great views and lots of services right there.
We spent the final 4 nights of our month long trip here, so glad we did. It was in the perfect location to access a lot of attractions, we happily walked to the seaport village and Westfield. It's right in little Italy so everywhere we ate at was super yummy. The parking was undercover valet parking and at $25 a day it was def cheap for the piece of mind. The only thi...
The staff make you feel like family. They go above and beyond to make your stay in San Diego the best possible. When you call the front desk they respond by answering with; Hello this is xxx, I can help you with anything. And they do! Late night extra water? Done. Extra towels? Done. Refill of what you were missing at breakfast time? Done. Big shout out to Keith and ...
a cozy boutique hotel on the border of downtown SD & the gaslamp district. a 20 minute walk from petco park, i enjoyed my stay on a weekday night before & after a ballgame. the room was quaint, with subtle hints of luxury. lavender potpourri on the bed was a nice touch. the sink outside the bathroom reminded me of my time spent in europe. a bed, a chair, and little ...
The location of hotel is at the historic heart of San Diego. Closing to Convention Center, Petco Park Stadium and lots of other landmarks. The working staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast included in room fee is good, but not so many choices of food. The room is clean and comfortable. However, the facilities are a little bit out of date. The air conditioner...
The staff were exceptional & went above & beyond to make our stay a good one. Our room was great & the history of the hotel made it so much cooler. The location of it was perfect! Would definitely stay again!
we had a great steay of 2 nights there. best location in gaslamp and not far away of the beach. velet parking are very kind. service there is good. will stay there again.
I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter. Check in was awesome and quick. Parking is valet and a little pricey ($39 per night) but I expected it at least it includes in & out privileges. Perfect location, not totally in the center of the Gaslamp Quarter so it's still quiet but only a short walk away. Small pool, but we are sooo close o the beach why sett...
Fantastic location near the front of the bay. Hotel facilities excellent, great breakfast included in price. Stayed for a week for 4th July celebrations and found staff really helpful despite hotel being fully booked. Would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to San Diego.
Nice place with walking distance to many restaurants and bars. It is also close to most of the places of interests. The breakfast is good as well. The only thing is there is no lift in the parking, you'd better drop your luggage at the gate of the hotel and then go to park
Since all the high end conference hotels were booked, we were glad to find room at this small inn located about 20-30 minutes walk north of the waterfront convention area. The room and bath were very clean with comfortable linens. Staff were very accommodating, offering a free daily pass for 2 of us to a downtown fitness center within walking distance. Although the ...
Friendly staff, great dining and entertainment. Close to shopping mall, Seaport Village, and several other historical landmarks. A great hotel for family.
While we loved the location and feel of the hotel, we were traveling with teenagers and would have loved to have a “family suite” with multiple rooms. This seems to be rare, but would definitely be a hot seller for families.
The Stay was fine at the doubletree, However it is really costly. I did stay here as it was a special occasion but i probably would not stay here again. I had called the hotel in advance to make some special arrangments the lady on the phone took down all my notes but when I arrived and checked in there was nothing so that was a major setback between 2 days the cost wa...
This hotel was recently renovated and the rooms are beautiful and everything was done nicely in the renovation. Parking is tight being the spaces are circular and not ideal for bigger cars or SUVs. The workout room is small however the hotel is adding a new one in the basement. The front desk was great and the restaurant was small and is also the bar area.
i was in san diego for a conference at the convention center earlier this month, and all the conference-recommended hotels were very expensive or booked. luckily, i found this hotel, and i couldn't have been more pleased! it's just 1/2 mile from the convention center (closer than some of the other conference hotels), 2 blocks from petco park, and a few blocks more from...
We are extremely pleased with our 11 night stay in this Westin Hotel. The receptionist was nice enough to assign an ocean view room to us and the room was beautiful. My wife said the bed was the most comfy one she ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was nice too. You can't find a better loation than this: right in the downtown area and close to everything, but far enough fr...
I had reservations for 12 noon. Didn’t get my room til about 2 pm. The valet people were more than helpful. The desk people were ok. The hotel is in good location clean and comfortable. I didn’t like it that they allow dogs though.
I didn’t like that we had to pay an additional 21 dollars for parking . The parking spaces err tight, other than that the hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Luxurious room that came with a kitchen, suitable for families who prefer to prepare their own meals and still want the hotel luxury. Costs of valet is very high though and there is no self parking. Would be better if this costs were more upfront.
Chris and I travel a lot, and while we may regularly say that we should write reviews, in reality we don’t often do it. On this occasion however, it’s an absolute priority for us that we take the opportunity to thank the team here for a truly wonderful experience. I had pre-arranged with the hotel for some amenities to be in the room (birthday surprise) and they were ...
Very clean, well kept hotel with off street parking available. Free breakfast makes this good value. Tram and train are quite noisy in rooms so decide if this would be an issue
I normally dont do reviews but I really enjoyed my stay. The location of the hotel is the key. It is at the heart of downtown. Near Gaslamp area. Staff was very friendly. I did not had any personal convenience, so I was looking for hotel like that which is in close proximity to major attractions Only bad part was the wifi connection.
The Declan Is now Pulse by Marriott... no longer declan so it made me a but confused at first i thought there were two hotels on the same property... but come to find out the place had been changed... there are a few nice upgrades in the room including the microwave and mini fridge in the rooms as well as a nice restroom area in the pool section. Valet service needs s...
My overall experience was satisfactory as the location was prime, the staff was friendly on site and the views were breathtaking. The main con was that when I booked my reservation, I chose the option with a “concierge lounge.” I didn’t know what this amenity entailed so I contacted the hotel to find out and let them know for what day I was booking. It all sounded goo...
The stay was good. We did not expect too much from the reviews before we checked inn so as expected, it is a typical motel but staffs are friendly. Very accessible to tourist attractions.
The rooms are modern and stylish but most importantly clean! The staff is always smiling, helpful and doing their best to take care of their guests! The location is convenient as you are at the heart of San Diego downtown! I would highly recommend it!
The Wyndham Bayside is in a great location, right along the waterfront in Downtown San Diego. I loved that we could walk or take a scooter to some of the best places in downtown. Our room was wonderful, felt luxurious, and was well taken care of. The mattress and sheets were good quality. The only thing I would caution anyone with is parking in a downtown hotel. We kne...
