Hotels near Melaka Straits Mosque

everything was perfect except there were few necessities that were not provided as they were in our 1st stay. Reported to the manager and she quickly tried to solve it. Thumbs up to that. BUT the problem is that the report need to be done directly at the front desk since nobody answered from the room phone (Tried calling operator, frontdesk,housekeeping,in room service). Breakfast was good unless you want a heavy one since there were limited choice of heavy breakfast. Room is very clean but need to improve on windows cleaning. Facilities are how you would expect it to be and please do go and try the FREE skydeck entry. You can see view of Melaka and Melaka straits from 44th floor.

As a regular traveler to Melaka, this is by far the best hotel that I have stayed in Melaka. The room is spacious, clean with comfortable bed and a window with fantastic view of the Melaka Straits. The couch by the window is a perfect touch to enjoy the sea-view. The washroom is spacious and divided into its individual components: toilet, bath and wash. The glass bathroom is a unique touch. The facilities provided such as the pool and the gym is also excellent. The hotel is also located quite near to Dataran Pahlawan (about 10 minutes or less of walking) though it is better to have a car if you want to move around. The only issue I had with the room given to me was the washroom: upon checking in, I realized that the wash basin is clogged and later that day there was some issue with the water heater for shower. Both this issues were rectified with relative efficiency by the staff. I would definitely stay here again.

This is my first stay in this newly opened hotel in Melaka. The staff were friendly and helpful and alway greeted us with sincere smiles, something rare to see in another part of peninsular Malaysia. The room was spacious, mine was a Straits Suites which overlooking Straits of Melaka, hence the name of this hotel because no matter where your room at, either at left or right aisle, still you can see the Straits Of Melaka from the large glass plate window. However, the management should consider subscribing few Vision 4 channels for room entertainment since the one and only Fox Movie Premium channel still can't suffice the craving of in-room movie entertainment especially enjoying at midnight. The plus point, especially for Singaporeans, this hotel provides all MediaCorps TV channels. The pool, though a bit chilly because it was built on the topdeck of the building,provides bird's eye view of Melaka city and its surroundings. This hotel is a stone's throws away from shopping malls and tourist attractions, a walk through shophouses lane is not that tiring, though may be sweat a bit under scorching noon sun. Ample parking is available. I will definitely return to this hotel the next time I go to Melaka few weeks to come!

We checked in near mid night, greeted by 2 very friendly & polite Malay gentlemen who upgraded our room due to unavailability of our original booking despite super peak season. Large rooms and superb mattress, superb location right in the centre of Melaka. Strongly recommend anyone to stay there (But do not go with a 5-Star expectation as that's not in the right context as you pay way below a 5-Star price!). Overall, a very pleasant experience. Breakfast is decent, too. Thank you!

I never thought the hotel from checking in, facilities, food until checked out..honestly? THE BEST EVER!!! Easy on checked in! The front line staff very helpful! friendly! The facilities EXCELLENT! The food OMG!!! DELICIOUS!!! Fried Rice (sounds simple one) very tasty!!! Thumbs up to the chef! I must says, definitely we will stay again if we come to Melaka! Another thing, I never seen cleaner (female staff wearing hijab I cant recall her name) do her job VERY GOOD! She should get an award! Thank you team & crew Eco Tree Hotel!!! You guys THE BEST & WELL DONE! To Management - you guys should reward your staff for their best in giving to the customer! ;)

The breakfast got variety of choice, most of the choice is Malaysian Food. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the room is clean, can see part of beautiful Melaka strait from the Window. Free baby cot provided with a baby bath tub. The biscuit given during check in was delicious and there is a welcome drink just beside the counter. However, The mall below the hotel looks like a empty mall. There is only few stall for food/ clothes, a cinema and 7-Eleven. It will become a perfect hotel If hotel management can provide free shutter to the historical place for tourist. In a nutshell, I will recommend others to stay here when visit Melaka.

I checked into Midcity hotel with little expectation as it was rated as 3.5 stars. The front desk staff served us without a smile and had a monotonous tone. We were stuck in the lift for 5 minutes when the door refused to open, air-con was not very cold and there is no fridge in the room. However, this little hotel has lots of WOW factor namely the helpfulness of the staff and services they provide. Once all these little hic-cups get sorted out (e.g. get house-keeping to wash air-con filter), our stay there is comparable to some 5 star hotel around the corner. Once you get pass the stale introduction, the attitude of the staff is that of being very cheerful and helpful. Perhaps it is the get to know you factor. I asked for directions for food and I got lots of suggestions on what's good around the hotel for lunch, dinner and supper. Pointers on how to go around town comes with step by step guide to get there by foot or drive. Other reviews at this website stated that the breakfast was so so or not good. I beg to differ from that opinion as on the contrary, the food has a wide variety for a 3.5 star hotel, just that what is displayed on the buffet table is only a small selection but the rest of the good stuff is on an unlimited order basis. This meant that the food being served is freshly prepared and not displayed on the buffet table since eternity with whatever undesirables raining down on it. Hats off to kitchen chief Romzi for his good and attentive service during our stay there. His idea for order and serve breakfast is the best I have seen even when compared to a 5 star hotel just around the corner. Only regret is that the room does not come with a mini-fridge and that is an inconvenient if you need a cool place to store your beer. Perhaps the management would like to put that in before my next visit to Melaka soon. The price of about SGD45 per night with breakfast, is great value for money for a place to stay.

location is very nice close to histotical place in melaka such as a famosa, muzeum, jonker walk street night market, river cruise, ocean and klebang also. Parking pun senang dekat hotel. so far so good, staff friendly and the hotel look very productive. for those nak jalan2 melaka for budget trip can stay at this hotel. very recommended. i though i will repeat again if i come.

This hotel is located near the Mahkota Melaka Hospital. I accompany my parents to the hospital everyday by walking around 200 - 300 m. A decent distance to use a wheelchair as well. The room isn't so big, but it is enough. It has no windows, but it is clean and no strange odor lingering. I didn't expect my room to be cleaned everyday. However, each time i left the room in the morning, by the time i return in the afternoon, my room has been cleaned thoroughly, they also gave us some new towels and mineral water everyday. I was surprised by the service. The owner stays in the hotel, so we can connect with them immediately if there's any problem. Definitely will come back here to stay ^^

It was good. Staff are friendly, Beds were good for stay... not much from their tv but they have some astro channels also.. toilets were clean and simple. Surrounding area quiet and peaceful at night. For muslim travellers, there is a masjid 10 to 15minutes away from the hotel in Pulau Melaka, it is known as Masjid Selat. Nothing bad except if it rains and there are no parking lots infront, you will need an umbrella. Other than that.. good experience!

I got a cheaper rate booking from agoda instead of direct booking with the hotel. The hotel is located near to Pulau Melaka seaside area. Parking is free on site and public parking is also avaiable aplenty. Hotel is situated away from traffic noise as it is off the main road so you can get a quiet evening sleep. You can walk to have mamak food just five shoplots away but for restaurant food, you will need transport. Bus service do not pass by the hotel but you can get cab from reception. Pahlawan shopping and mahkota parade is about 2.5 km away.

During the holiday, me and my family go to melaka and stay at Hotel 906. This is the frist time that we stay at Hotel 906, during the check in i told my son this hotel got free breakfast. because he likes to eat hotel food so he is excited about the breakfast. When we went up to the room my son siad: wah!! got elavator one ah!!! My son was suprise because he siad alot of hotels dont have elavator except for the hotels that are 10 floors above.

last saturday when i decide to went to melaka with a short holiday atlast moinute booking, i just found that agoda only got family room available, after discusstogether with my family, we decided to book the last offer room and used our accumulate point to deduct the entitilement. it was great when we go in the room, although without any window in the room, it just behind the receptionist counter, no need to go upstair, and also when we want to watch live "premier leeds soccer", just ask for the servive crew.

its under rated. U can't find any room with air condition in Melaka with this price. simple room but clean, great value. Location is not really bad. its just minutes away from Mahkota shopping centre. if u need to go to Jonker street, just walk inside Dataran Pahlawan mall to the end (st paul church) and from there its just minutes to Jonker street (check up google map to get a better view) the office only open in the afternoon, come around 2.30pm (the motel keeper will be there). *the "red bus" (panorama) to Melaka central is just at the main road nearby (best is to walk to opposite Mahkota shopping centre)

Time Hotel Melaka is a mid-range budget hotel with good value. Most of the things in the hotel such as bedding, bed frame, tables, cupboard, toilets are all very new and well maintained. It is located not so near the road so it is quiet for a good nite sleep. The reception and other hotel staff are friendly and helpful, such as when we request for hair dryer and how to adjust the water heater temperature (water-heater temperature control is hidden in the false ceiling of toilet). If you are driving, it is only 5 minutes drive to jonker walk and all major tourist attractions in Melaka. Overall good value for the price we paid.

the building of the hotel looks terrible and old but when i got in the lobby was alright and also the room was big enough for 2 persons. toilet clean enough. i extended my stay for 2 weaks while in melaka for medical treatment. altough its a bit quite but overall its good hotel. the staff was very friendly and good customer services.the breakfast was ok, occasionally you have a chance to eat american breakfast but most of the time will be local delicacy. wifi very slow. convenient to walk around, 10 mins walk to shopping mall and 30 mins walk to jonker street. i will recommend ppl to stay here and will come back again. cheers.
