"We stayed here 2 nights in Krabi at the Seabass and compared to most of the hotels i've stayed in Thailand (so far its been 12) This has been one of the best. Close to the night market. Very clean. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. a REAL shower. Let us check in early. The daily housekeeping was one of the best i've seen. Hotel looked brand new. The only bad thing I have to say about the hotel was they charge 500 Bhat for a taxi to the airport. I walked 5 minutes down the street and found one for 300. I really recommend this to anyone doing a short layover in Krabi town. "

"Krabi downtown is generally not an ideal place to spend your holidays but if you have to stay there (proximity to airport and night market), the White Pearl is a good choice. Expect friendly and helpful staff, business-like furnished room, comfortable beds, some street noice, Asian style breakfast. This is not a holiday resort but apparently caters to Asian business people. We needed a decent place to stay for one night in Krabi and this hotel certainly served the purpose. Good value for money. If you go, check out the evening walking street - exellent food market with lots of different things to try"

"let's face it... krabi town is not the place to stay for a beach experience. but as a steppingstone to the surrounding areas, it's preferable to ao nang since you can get quality accomodation on a budget, and still just a bus- or taxiride away from the daily/nightly excitements. baifern mansion is located in the middle of it all, and despite a main road just outside, it is surprisingly quiet at night. very clean room, and even a tv, should you desire. wifi downstairs, and if you are lucky, you even get it in your room! my room had windows facing 2 directions, which made it very breazy and fresh! dollar for dollar, i found this establishment real value! "This is a great place for a solo traveler since the hostel has a great ambiance for people to chat and know each other. It has a hopping rooftop bar (with buckets!) where you can either relax solo, or meet some other travelers. The staff is also very friendly and helpful in booking fieldtrips for you. It also has a good location as it is right by a bus stop to go to Ao Nang beach (beautiful), close to the market walking street, and if you are ever lost in Krabi town everybody knows where this hostel is. If you are traveling solo, this is the hostel to go to. It is comfortable, hip, and well located. "

"I was happy to find such clean dorms with very large beds. They were on the firm side, but comfy. Male and female restrooms with 3 toilet stalls and 3 shower stalls each. And on the floor with the dorms was a lounge with a sofa and a tv. The best part? They leave the a.c. remote in the room, so if you come back for a break mid-day, you're able to cool down. Very close to the night market and a short walk to the park. Overall, a great place to stay. "

"The Greenery was clean and quiet with a nice and helpful staff, good styling, and a super comfortable king bed with high-quality linens. The bathroom, a typical wet bathroom set-up, had hot water with no problems. We only stayed 1 night, but the front desk helped us call the ferry for pick-up and we were very pleased with our room. Breakfast was not included, but available in their cute dining area. There is a lot within walking distance, including a nice temple and restaurants, but keep in mind that Krabi Town is less touristic and more local than Ao Nang. If I stayed in Krabi Town again, I would return to The Greenery."
