This is our 3rd time stay in their Studio room since last December 2014. Previously was booked through directly from Hotel, but this time round the hotel rate slightly higher than Agoda (the staff told maybe because of GST). My family members are very satisfy with Weil hotel. We stayed with them when they are rated 3 star till 4 star currently. I think they should rate as 5 star hotel soon cos some of their facilities are still under construction! From the very first step of the hotel: Bellman, valet parking, check in, room, restaurant food (breakfast or dinner) till the last step of check out, I give 10/10!!! The performance of every staffs are doing the best to every guests, I think they should well trained before their serving! We are going Ipoh every month, for sure we will come back this hotel and never change!!! Besides, I also very expected to use their upcoming facilities!!! (THUMBS UP)

Our 4 nights stay at the hotel were really worth it. Everyday staffs never miss to ask us whether we want the room to be cleaned. All staffs including guards were with smile, polite and friendly. Although the hotel did not serve breakfast, no need to worry as there are malay restaurants nearby to choose from. There is also self service laundry and clinic at the area. However, the hotel could improve on room and bathroom cleanliness. Other than that, all are satisfied for the reasonable price we pay. One piece of advice is to book through agoda as the price would be way cheaper compared to when you walk in to the hotel. Well done Golden Roof Hotel!

Dated of stayed 21.07.17 to 24.07.17 Fast check in & check out, early check in. Location good easy to get 🚕, grab and uber 🚕. A lot of shop Foot massage in the Front of the hotel. Nearby 7 eleven shop Nearby restaurant koh samui Restaurant, western restaurant Chinese restaurant, Staffs friendly Comfortable bed. Room very clean 13th floor surprise. Dulang Coffee house - Buffet Breakfast follow price. Papaya are no fresh during less customers. Plate oil stained can be see no wash properly. Lettuce pickle for porridge no fresh & difficult to eat. No bell boy attend in main door services. No swim pool Surprise deposit of RM50.00 nett. Amazing welcome drink in Sonata Lounge join together happy hour with dance and song. Including Business center, Meeting Room, Ballroom, Executive lounge,Sonata lounge, Guess Room,Alcohol Shop, computer room,Palace Restaurant, Dulang Coffee house Wi-Fi so fast so good and strong.

Booked a night stay in this hotel and was given an upgrade upon check-in, which I greatly appreciated. Location is just opposite Ipoh Parade Shopping Mall and near to many eateries and cafes. Hotel room is basic and furniture may look old but it is spacious, clean, neat and tidy, compared to a lot of the chain hotels. I like the bed, it is super comfy ;) The clever lighting and music makes the lobby feel cozy, and I must not forget to mention the coffee house at the lobby, it is fantastic. I was given free coffee voucher to enjoy coffee with beautiful latte art that served with old school Marie biscuits. Thai Massage Spa is available here too, I tried the 120min massage and it only cost me RM88, so cheap! Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Upon arrival to hotel, plan to upgrade my executive king room but there is full house already. i was surprised when i step in to my room, there is much more better than my expectation. Room is big enough for couple and come with a small living room. everything you needed is there, just bring your luggage in will do. There is only ONE suggestion from me and I hope will be consider by hotel for improvement in future. 1. water dispenser ( this is really important for customer, i know there is two bottles of water in room and i don't think that's enough for two persons or more than that) Conclusion, this hotel is really a good choice for traveler who come to IPOH. Please consider on this hotel to stay for your vacation. Carry on! Symphony Suites! :)

Stayed only for one night but very staisfied. Booked 2 rooms with interconnecting door. Mainly due to room size which size is quite generous, each bathroom got bathtub and best location to explore Ipoh city. Also we got complimentary parking at lower floors. Tried the swimming pool and quite like it, not too big or too deep. Bfast is also not bad and hotel staffs were very helpful. Recommended to all.

Due to the incredible services by this hotel, i make an effort to write this review just to let u all know about this hotel. I choose this hotel due past good reviews and seriously this is the best 3 stars hotel i ever meet. If u have budget around rm200 and looking for a place in ipoh, straight away book this hotel, u will not regret. believe me! We book 3 rooms in new renovated room and all of us are really happy n satisfied. We arrived late night at the hotel, the service started when we park, they guide us during the parking. Then the receptionist was very friendly and the best ever words " there are 2 cans drink inside the fridge and it is foc, u can drink " . Then when we enter the room, suprisingly with less than rm200, the room equiped with bath tub!!! My twins are so happy with this. Then the next morning, they served brekafast ala carte, i believed because there is not much customer. But seriously the breakfast awesome! The coconut rice just nice and the american breakfast is delicious!!! not to forget the coffee.. i drink it twice !! so for those looking for a hotel in ipoh, please book renovated room in this hotel. U will not regret. believe me!!

By far the best botique hotel i have stayed in Ipoh. We took the Premium Suite Room The location is near to the Aeon Station 18 Shopping Mall within walking distance. But if you are looking for some food craving, you need a car to travel to the city center (around 20min drive) The staff there are friendly and even allowed us for late check-out due to heavy rain that time. Just some minor issues on the rain shower, it unable to switch to the normal head shower due to the handler broken. The others are up to the expectation. They also provide ironing facilities and washing machine for you to do your laundry if needed. We didn't try their in-house restaurant (cause we are in Ipoh food town) but the place look clean and tidy all the time.

I really enjoy my stay, the ambience really help to relax me and my fiancee a lot. We like the interior of the hotel, the towel animal they made on the bed, how the front counter people great us - so friendly, the security guard taking care of the guests'cars at night, the massage they provide - 20% off for in-house guests (both of us slept off, but unfortunately during the massage the neighbourhood was cutting the grass with the lawn mover which spoil the quiet environment), the bath-tub (which had a half transparent window high on top). I like the atmosphere when taking breakfast in their restaurant (not the typical one, with Zen ambience), though it is not like the usual one (you choose from their food list and they will cook for you when you arrive or send to your room as per request). I will come back again, definitely.

This hotel is not friendly use to old customer. My father and mother 70++ year old, need to climb 2 stories building. I dont mind with the outdated design of the hotel, but for old people to take stairs to go to the room very difficult. There is no elevator. The wifi also very slow. But the breakfast not bad, good. The choices of heavy breakfast meal, nasi lemak, fried kuew tiaw, noodle soup, porridge (need to improve the rice still not solid). The bread very nice with butter and "kaya". Last but not lease, the room have no refrigerator.

Ipoh is a small town in Malaysia and we did not have high expectations coming into this hotel. Upon check in, we were greeted by friendly and courteous reception at the hotel. Checking in was very easy and fast, at least it felt that way as my active 4 year old indulged himself with hotel's welcome drink. Our room was beautifully decorated with modern design. It is clean, efficiently designed and give us enough room for our luggages and laptop backpacks. All the basics were provided, ie. Ironing board, mini fridge, safe, toiletries and etc. Felt like a 4 star experience. Breakfast is good with a nice assortment of Malaysian favourites including nasi lemak, wanton soup noodle, pastries, porridge, bread and etc. We enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights. Will come again if we are in Ipoh in the future.

We booked a double superior but were only given a standard room with single beds as reception claimed Agoda had not provided booking details and they were full over Chinese New Year. That said, we were in the new wing and it was a very spacious room and well maintained, certainly when compared to similar star rated Malaysian hotels. Reception staff were always helpful with taxi bookings etc. The Breakfast included was Asian style buffet and wouldn't appeal to Western taste. The hotel was a little 'remote' but there were plenty of taxis on call to go into the City or to the various natural tourist attractions.

3 of us hired Ian to bring us for 1 day tour (food & sightseeing) with his car. he charged us rm40/hour. I must say that it is value for money. early in the morning,he brought us to residential estate for very good wat-tan-hor and cheap. after breakfast he brought to gua tempurung-a big cave. he then brought us to have chee-cheong-fun and otak-otak for lunch. they are home made and delicious too. ordinary tourists will never find these places. even they found it, they will have to wait for very long time to be served (min. 1 hour). as Ian has good relationship with them, we did not wait long. after that he brought to the famous white coffee-nam heong c-shop where we tried very good egg tart too. he brought to walk around old/new town of Ipoh and tasted fomous dessert named funny mountain "tou-hue"-bean curd. we bought some local tit-bits, and went back to hotel for a rest as the kid was a little tired. we went out for dinner with him after 2 hours rest. he brought us to a local food centre named "dong-gu-teng" where we a wide variety of local food and they are delicious too. we hired his service for total 8 hours and I must say that we have got everything done conveniently. he is so friendly that I would make a strongly recommendation.

Every part of the hotel makes for a beautiful shot and the room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The staffs were great and proactive in getting what I needed. My booking granted me a room without windows and the staffs made no fuss when I seek for a room with one. They even gave me one with the view of the mountains and that was genuine hospitality! It was a truly lovely experience and I highly recommend this hotel. A definite repeat!

As it was a last minute trip, we decided to book this hotel as the price was pretty cheap. Before you were allowed into the hotel, they will take your temperature which complies with the current SOP. Check-in was pretty fast. Our room was decent. It has a twin bed and it was clean. However I did notice some faint stains on the comforter. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a good stay if you need place to stay in Ipoh.

The hotel surprisingly upgrade my room to Brewster Executive Suite from Brewster Studio. Room is super spacious with jacuzzi that can fits 2 person in the room. Well service from the front desk staff. Ordered in room dining but need to wait around 30-40 minutes. Nice view at the infinity pool and The Lawn. In addition, they have special lounge at Level 12 for all level 12 guest, that’s lovely and convenient. Anyhow, the choices not as much as the Ground floor lounge but it’s more than enough for us.

Overall, I am impressed of this hotel. They have earlier check in time which is on 12pm. The front desk staff is excellence, is a chinese aunty, she is very friendly and helpful. Even though it is rated l a 2-star hotel, but the service they provide is good. It have a lift provided in the hotel, so that we do not need to use the staircase. I've booked the deluxe room, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the facilities they provide could be rated as 3-star hotel. They even provide the drink, water boiler, hair dryer, sanitary items, etc in the room. Importantly, it has a very clean room and toilet. Hotel Location nearby some of the travel place. Overall, i am happy for the stay at De Parkview Hotel. Definitely will back here again.

This hotel just newly open in Jan2016. Room was not really big but clean. No light box signboard at this hotel so it a bit difficult if u reach there at night time. No restaurant nearby by walking distance but u can find 24 hours fast food restaurant by driving 2 mins. Everything is good in this hotel and the best part is Astro channel was provided as well but the wifi connection was on and off failure.

This is a budget hotel, so I'm judging according to budget hotel's standard. The room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable. It could be better if there is window, but no complaint. The staffs are super friendly and helpful, despite attending annoying customer before me, they still serve with a smile. It's a Muslim owned hotel, so no non-halal drinks available. Which is a good thing, you wont get noisy drunken guests. Located in Greentown business center, walking distance to banks and offices (if ur on business trip). Not much options for lunch. U may have to walk 10 minutes walk to Ipoh Parade. But a lot of Malay roadside food stalls at nite with friendly workers too! FOor non-Muslims, there are a few bars and bistros nearby. Which are quiet but safe to have a drink or two. I will be back again.

This is my third time stay at this hotel. If you are a solo traveller and a very private person, looking for a room for stay for 1 person, do look out for this hotel. The price is very affordable, and make sure booked from Agoda. The price is similiar to sharing @ dorm room. The place is quite easy to find. Only that it is far from Ipoh Town. About 20-30 mins to reach Ipoh town. But it is okay for me because of the price. The room is comfortable, have water heater, aircond was very cold, and I have a very good sleep. It is just that the wifi us very slow, and the mobile internet receiving was very poor, that i almost explode when I cant load, especially for Instagram apps 😂. Overall, there is more pros than cons staying at this place. Will definitely come and stay again. Oh ya, please bring along your own hanger, as there are no hanger provided in the room. Not sure whether can ask for it, but just bring along for your own safety 😁

to begin with, this must be the most comfortable budgeted hotel rooms we ever stayed in. we booked the cheapest room (twin room without window) and to our suprise it is not another matchbox, the room is spacious, shower is great and the design was lovely. as this hotel had a cafe counterpart, while we did not ordered anything, the pricing looked decent. the staffs were really friendly and helpful as well! parking is not a hassle as there are ample parking spots available. the only downside to this hotel is that, it is a 5-10 min drive away from the city center, unless u plan to take a cab/ drive, it is not as convenient as the other budgeted hotel. however, we do like the quiet ambience (it is located just outside the city center afterall)

Love the clever design of this boutique hotel. From the design of the facade to the doors right up to the rooms. Everything is provided in the room and the super clean bath n toilet with rain shower. The material use is like 5 stars luxury hotel. The toilet floor tiles is so classy looking. If thrown in super soft cotton towels this hotel will be the best in whole of Ipoh. Their cafe Cawanmu next door is very nice for enjoying breakfast. Although the breakfast spread is minimal but very adequate and of good quality. Bought their Coffee Swiss roll and its delicious! Their service staff is excellent. Everyone of them is so friendly. Thanks! Location is around 15-20 minutes drive to town but not a drawback when this hotel is really value for money for what they provide.

i have nothing to complain. Everything is value for money. Strategic location just across AOEN shopping mall, beautiful interior, comfortable beds, clean & new hotel (clean toilet is a plus point!) Kiblat sign for prayer is available in the room. However, there is no appropriate space for prayer (the only space available is just right beside the toilet). Perhaps the management can consider to prepare a prayer room (surau) in the hotel then i would give a full 5 marks for this hotel! will stay again. The best 2star hotel thus far.
