Hotels near Gerbang Malam Night Market

This is my first time at this hotel. The room was spacious and very very clean. I opt for King size bed as i brought my 2 kids. the room was perfect and hardly for me to complaint. The kids 6 and 1 year old can play around in room. The carpet in the room is thick and realy love it. Bathroom also spacious and my kids love it. Recommend the room facing the river so you can enjoy nice view at night. Restaurant nearby beside( the hotel forgot the name )offered excellent food like laksa nasi goreng and cendol and the price is very reasonable. Just opposite the hotel you can rent a bicycle and enjoy cycling within the vicinity. Lastly, the staff also great and being so helpful. very professionals and did their best. I want to mention few names here MR JASPAL, MR SUBRA and MR ALIF these guys doing great job and i think the management should know on their effort. Will come again

This is the third time I stayed at this hotel and I always very satisfied staying here. Staffs are very polite, all facilities including lobby, elevator, bedroom and bathroom are always clean. Bedroom and bathroom are quite spacious, very clean. Beds are comfortable, shower also stable, air conditioning works perfectly. Hotel location also very stratetic, near to tasty dimsum restaurants and gerbang malam night market.

I booked this hotel very last minute, so I didn't expect much. By the time I arrived there, everything was exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, the water pressure was great, the beds & pillows were comfy enough, aircond was in perfect condition (I didn't use the fan though, &yes there's a fan inside the room) and staffs were really helpful. The location was great, you can go to gerbang malam (night market) by walk and there's a lot of foods there! You could go to most of tourist attractions by walk (if 1km or so is ok for you). There's also flea market on every sunday (6am-2pm) just outside the hotel. Definitely recommend Pi Hotel!

I stay at this hotel 5 days and extend 1 days, the staff is very informatif and nice if you need anything to ask they will help you, this hotel is near to food center and gerbang malam market, and if you want to go to birch memorial clock tower or Train station is not too far, and at sunday, the flea market is start from infront of this hotel till you walk down and go to memorial lane, everything is good except the lift is pretty old one , if you really wanna to try old lift this hotel is your best experience. overall is good and if i visit ipoh again i will visit this hotel again.

I had a bit of a hiccup checking in - looked like my payment didn't go through in their system (I booked through Agoda but it was showing Booking.com) so I just had to confirm that I didn't pay and paid upon my arrival. The rooms were very clean and just what anyone needs when traveling for just a few days. Otherwise, the staff was incredibly accommodating and SO kind. One of the staff members let me borrow his personal iPhone charger when I realized I forgot my adapter for the outlets. Then unfortunately, I was mugged walking down the street in a bad neighborhood and (who I believe was) the owner of the hotel came to find me at the police station to be by my side and help if needed. He also changed my room (upgraded nonetheless) since the robber had my hotel key. I will be forever grateful to this hotel and their staff, as they made me feel so very much at home at a time that I was wishing I was not in this city at all. Thank you very much Brick Box!!

Had a one night stay during my recent business trip. Everyone was saying that this is the best hotel they had ever stay of all the business trips we travelled around Malaysia. Back to this hotel, I would say the location is quite strategic and there is a shopping mall beside this hotel. This hotel is quite near to Penang bridge so if you opt to travel to the island for a visit is definitely not a major issue but provided you must have a car to travel around to try the local food. Hotel room is spacious, clean, modern, air-conditioner is very cooling, touch and go security to access to the rooms, free wifi provided, security box, breakfast was good and comparable to Cititel Penang and Bayview Hotel in the island. This hotel is a much better choice for both business or family vacation as compare to the opposite road Pearl View Hotel which is a nightmare for me.

Good hotel around the corner from a wonderful 24 hour indian restaurant and "The Store" department store, which has a grocery is only a block away. Free parking underneath and in front of the hotel. The room was large. The housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The Sunday morning antique market is in front of the hotel. The night market begins about four blocks away. My only complaint is that the internet was weak in my room.

The toilet of 1st floor is what they shown but it was totally different for the 2nd floor, not as nice as what I thought. There is only 1 hair dryer in the hotel and the sound system is bad. You can hear every little sound from next door and the parking is quite dangerous as the garage is in a back street although the receptionist wait for us until we got into hotel after parking. But so far so good but not recommend for elder to stay as they have to use stairs.
