My son and I both really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Weil. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have ever tried. ALL the Staff are nice and helpful and service at every level and dept are ALL excellent. The room is very comfortable and also on the 10th floor room we had the view of Ipoh surroundings is very nice, and esp the surrounding limestone hills / mountains. Another big asset is the hotel is connected to the Ipoh Parade Mall which has many kinds of good restaurants. Note that the hotel and most others fill up on weekends -- evidently filled up because of local foodie tourists coming to Ipoh, even foodies from Singapore. Ipoh till now has its excellent food (reputation) basically everywhere. Ipoh main lacking though is ease of transport. Going out of the hotel is quite easy but not going back. So Weil Hotel location is a plus too since it is so central and many places are within walking distance. We got a local 3G data card for our tablet and used that to navigate the streets. All in all I think Weil is likely the best hotel in Ipoh now. Weil is setting the bar now for real value and excellent comfort. And then of course is the everywhere food in Ipoh -- a main everyday pursuit for excellent taste and tummy happy time !!

I went to Ipoh over the weekend to surprise my significant other and to spend Valentine's with him. I'm grateful to have found Golden Roof on Agoda and I did not regret booking my stay there. The staffs were not only courteous but were also very friendly. Although, my room was smaller than what I expected after I have seen the photos, but it was still a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends who are thinking of visiting Ipoh.

Room are clean and very comfortable. Only problem are the toilet drain stuck and its smells awful..hope they fixed it asap. The other things that amazed me are the breakfast buffet ! There are many choice of breakfast that you can eat, nasi lemak, nasi kuning, ayam rendang, English breakfast, pancake, curry mee, chicken rice and much more... i was like.... WOW... how could you have such delicious breakfast and comfortable spacious room with only rm148 ? Believe me guys, this hotel is underated, it deserve more than 3 star. Best hotel i've stayed in ipoh.

We stayed at Symphony Suites after a fun but exhausting day at Gopeng where the kids had fun going for whitewater rafting and wet abseiling adventure. At first I was a bit apprehensive as the rate was quite cheap and we were definitely looking for a comfortable to stay after a very tiring day. Boy, were we glad that the hotel was less than half an hour drive from Gopeng, and that it was very clean and spacious. There were no many people around so the place was quite quiet. We love the location as it was quiet yet pretty close to the heart of Ipoh town, which means there are plenty of eating places nearby. We had a few months before stayed at another hotel with similar layout where the bedroom is separated from the small living area, but the price we paid then was more than double and the room was smaller. Symphony Suite will be on our radar whenever we have to stay in Ipoh

This well known Ipoh hotel is a real jewel. What made our stay there out of the ordinary was the attentive and helpful staff. The staff organized a rental car to be picked up and left at the hotel without any problems. Then, after an unfortunate incident with a snatch thief in the centre, losing my driver's license, they also fixed cancellation of the car and sorted out everything nicely. It is obvious that this hotel has high ambitions and the staff is always helpful and courteous. We normally do not care much about breakfast, but breakfast at the Regalodge is very nice, and we're happy we opt'ed for it. Do try the different options from the a la carte, instead of just getting the "continental breakfast". The hotel is clean and well kept and restaurants, food stalls, and night life is nearby. Ask the staff for what you're looking for and they'll help you out.

The hotel was in a new township. Not fully developed yet, but behind the hotel is a massive AEON and also a TESCO. The interior design of the hotel and rooms was very artful, and luckily very comfortable as well. The check-in was friendly and efficient. In the middle of the night, out toilet got clogged. A call to reception was made and they arranged another room for us within minutes. Delivered the new room key to us and we were moved in within 10 minutes. Kudos for the excellent service afforded. I highly recommend this hotel to any person travelling to Ipoh. Beds are comfy, Towels are nice, shampoo smells heavenly. Note: I gave four stars for the food because I didn't eat at the hotel but must rate it. So rating is based on what I saw being served to others.

A really exceptional boutique hotel in Ipoh. Hotel and rooms decorations are very true to Balinese style. Very romantically and tastefully done. The garden view room with bathtub is great. There’s a balcony area by the fish pond with beautiful and healthy koi fish. They provide you fish feeding food too so it can be a great experience for both children or adults. The bathroom is very spacious with nice bathtub. Staff was friendly too. You order your breakfast from the menu. The hotel location is not bad too, at the quieter residential area but not too far away from the town (need a car to go out though). Give it a try!

I travel to ipoh with my 2 kids (2yrs and 5 months), old hotel but still in good condition. I choose this hotel because have swimming pool and here got 2 separate swimming pool which is for adult and kid. What more surprise was they gave us 2 free breakfast (which is not shown in their description) when I booked the hotel and the breakfast was fantastic. So my conclusion is this hotel worth it to stay because where can I get a hotel which is below RM 100 / night, got separate swimming pool, and free breakfast. For sure will stay here in the future if we travel to Ipoh.

It was a great stay at Ibis Styles Ipoh Hotel. A few friends and I decided on a 1 night Ipoh trip and this hotel was a great stay. The place looks really new and with a very contemporary design, especially at the sTreats restaurant. Sadly we didn't have time to check out the bar also. Only downside I can see is in terms of the parking as there is very limited parking in the underground carpark, but you can park outside. The hotel is also very close to the main Ipoh town so it's easy to get anywhere and the hotel was very easy to find also. All in all, a very good trip.

This is a great place to stay for a variety of reasons. Ipoh is spread out geographically and can be difficult to navigate without hiring a taxi or renting a motorbike. It's a great place to explore for a taste of local Malaysian, Chinese, and Indian delights and off the well-beated path of the typical traveler. Don't pass it up. What makes Hotel Station 18 special? Ian, the hotel operator, and his staff that provide great customer service for the price. Ian is willing to drive guests to multiple locations throughout Ipoh, and took me to a total of 5 outstanding meals over my 3 night stay there. He's passionate about the food, culture, and people of Ipoh and very open to sharing that with others. The rooms are great too, you get more than you pay for, and cleanliness and attention to detail are top priorities. Highly recommended, thanks for making my stay and Ipoh such a great experience.

A very clean and new built hotel, modern and concept designed. Price is reasonable, staff is friendly and good services. Room is just alright (suitable for couple), washroom is big than my expectation. The only improvement for the hotel is the water heater, water turned cooler during shower. Location is good, few restaurants nearby and about 4km away from Ipoh city. The maindoor in lobby will be locked at 11pm, if you back after 11pm, you have to scan your room accesss card beside the door and get into the hotel. I will definately come back again, recommend this hotel as my 1st choice in Ipoh.

Concept by WEIL is a fantastic concept indeed, boutique within a hotel. Almost everything was perfect, the lounge on Level 12, the attentive service, snacks on minibar, comfy bed and the Concept itself. What could have been better is the cleanliness of the room. Dust was evident everywhere in the room eg once you draw the curtains and on the sink and wardrobe. For this price, you can never leave things for granted and make the hotel stand up above the rest. Regardless, it’s still a top hotel to consider while you are in Ipoh. 2nd time staying here and will be back again.

The hotel owner himself and his staff are very friendly and provide excellent services to my family. We feel like home there. The room is spacious, nice looking and clean. The facilities are great that hair dryer and iron are provided in the room. There are cold and hot drinking water, oven and microwave at the common area of the lobby. When we need a knife to cut fruit, the hotel staff borrows it to us without hesitation. Wifi is strong. Parking is easy. Safe with security guard. Although the hotel is not near to the Ipoh town, but there are plenty of restaurant around the hotel area at reasonable price. We got a 10% discount coupon for the dim sum restaurant next to the hotel. The dim sum are super delicious and I believe the price are cheaper than those in the Ipoh town. When we come to Ipoh again, De Parkview will definitely be my first choice.

The staff provide us the famous location around Ipoh. We do appreciate for their effort to do this for the first time travelers to Ipoh. The room although without window, but its spacious for 2 person and not stress to stay in the room. However they shall improve the hotel outlook, i were confuse at the first, because Waze showing different location, we managed to be there after confirmed with the staff. Good efforts, keep it up. I will be choosing this property for my future stay in Ipoh

I booked the room on the same day of arrival. My wife is attending a medical conference in another hotel in ipoh . We have to be there early morning next day.since the room is fully booked so we decided to stay in aestana a day befor the conference. We came with 2 small kids 1yr n 3yr old n arrived around 1am after departed frm kl at 9pm. The staff were very helpful n they were expecting us at the front door. They helped us with the luggage n accompany my wife n my sleepy kids to the room immediately. the check out was fast n the staff gave us a good direction to the conference hotel. Room is although small but its clean n makes us feel safe n satisfied with the reasonably cheap hotel rate that we paid. Thank you.

This is my third time stay at this hotel. If you are a solo traveller and a very private person, looking for a room for stay for 1 person, do look out for this hotel. The price is very affordable, and make sure booked from Agoda. The price is similiar to sharing @ dorm room. The place is quite easy to find. Only that it is far from Ipoh Town. About 20-30 mins to reach Ipoh town. But it is okay for me because of the price. The room is comfortable, have water heater, aircond was very cold, and I have a very good sleep. It is just that the wifi us very slow, and the mobile internet receiving was very poor, that i almost explode when I cant load, especially for Instagram apps 😂. Overall, there is more pros than cons staying at this place. Will definitely come and stay again. Oh ya, please bring along your own hanger, as there are no hanger provided in the room. Not sure whether can ask for it, but just bring along for your own safety 😁

Booked a family type room furnished with a queen & single bed. Reasonable space for the room & also the washroom. Inside, a wall mounted local channel flat TV, reliable hot shower, towel, a lot of power sockets is a plus here & free wifi. 2 free mineral water & outside there're hot & cold water dispenser. Room not that sound proof but comfy. Proper bathroom, not a frosted glass door type suitable for family stay. Near to Section 18 Aeon Mall (with cineplexs) but no 24hrs convenient store nearby however quite a lot of 24hrs restaurants. Quite a distance from Ipoh city ctr not suitable for tourist unless you own a transport. Stayed November 2014, travelled with friends

We were pleasantly surprised when we have arrived at the hotel. Though it is located in a residential area, you do not feel it the moment you stepped into the hotel. This is a boutique hotel with an unique design for every room, and there is a resort feel to the whole place. Our room has an outdoor bath area and on the second day we were there, it was drizzling lightly in the morning while I was having my shower. But the huge balmy plant managed to provide shelter and I was able to shower without getting "wet" in the rain :)p A totally unique experience. Very satisfied and highly recommended. I will definitely go back if I'm in Ipoh again!

Love the clever design of this boutique hotel. From the design of the facade to the doors right up to the rooms. Everything is provided in the room and the super clean bath n toilet with rain shower. The material use is like 5 stars luxury hotel. The toilet floor tiles is so classy looking. If thrown in super soft cotton towels this hotel will be the best in whole of Ipoh. Their cafe Cawanmu next door is very nice for enjoying breakfast. Although the breakfast spread is minimal but very adequate and of good quality. Bought their Coffee Swiss roll and its delicious! Their service staff is excellent. Everyone of them is so friendly. Thanks! Location is around 15-20 minutes drive to town but not a drawback when this hotel is really value for money for what they provide.

All their staffs went the extra mile to make our stay memorable and worthwhile. This was our first time in Ipoh and we received a lot of recommendations (eg: food, site tourist attractions and also places to buy their locals food products) from them. They would arrange a cab for us whenever we need as transportation in Ipoh is undevelop. They would bargain for us for a cheaper cab fees too! We appreciate alot as the fees were not not charge by meters. Although their wifi connection is quite slow, we were informed before hand and they commented that they will be improving on it! Overall, we will recommend this hotel to everyone!

Ok we read the past reviews and they were quite deterring, but we needed a place to stay on a last minute decision so the price was attractive enough. Considering the bad reviews, this place was actually not nearly as bad. Simple but clean room, splendid view of the limestone hills (if you get the front facing rooms) and friendly staff. Distance from Ipoh old town is to be considered if you do not have a car but a decent 8-10 minute drive if you do.
