"You can take subway within 1 minute walk to Narita Airport directly. Famiymart just next to the hotel. Try Ichiran ramen nearby within walking distance if 10 minutes. The hotel is quite new and GPS and there are few APA hotels in Asakusa area. Don't go to the wrong hotel. "

"Hotel is very well organized. My only problem was the mattress was too thin. I booked a female deluxe bed. I had a hard time sleeping. Also, Asakusa station where you get on the train to Narita does not have escalators or elevators, only stairs. It was really hard to go down the long flight of stairs with a heavy luggage. If these don't bother you, then I recommend this hotel."

"This is a very Japanese hotel in the very traditional Asakusa neighbourhood. We were fortunate for a great room view. Note that the room was enough for 2 people and a few luggage. The Onsen was the best part of the hotel as it opened all night and you can use the TV to know how busy it was. Note that the location is away from the night life so not much was going on after midnight. During the day, the neighbourhood was vibrant with Sensoji temple right next door and the Nakamise Shopping Street. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Stayed here for 6 nights. Good location right next to the elevator exit of Tawaramachi station, great to walk around the traditional neighborhood of Asakusa. Check-in process is a little bit weird with you having to enter your information on a touch screen. TINY room that barely allows you to put and keep your luggage on the floor all the time, with just a couple of hangers on the wall and no wardrobe. Being so tiny and with a window that does not open, the air can get a bit stuffy. Bed is comfortable, and staff cleaned the room everyday providing new toiletries and clean yukatas, that you can wear to sleep or to go to the public baths on the 14th floor (the best part of the hotel!). They are separated by gender, with a few individual seating showers to clean yourself before soaking in the big common baths (a big one indoor, a smaller one outdoor, and two individual outdoor baths), where you can socialize with other naked people. They include free breakfast in the Komeda Café downstairs, with 3 set options to choose from (best one is the toast with red beans). It's very nice and filling, but can get a little repetitive if you are staying many days. After our 6 nights stay in this hotel, we went to stay in another area of Tokyo for 3 nights, and on the last day we had to pass nearby this hotel to take the train out of Tokyo. It was early, we had some things to do around there, and we had a lot of luggage that didn't fit in the public coin lockers in Tawaramachi station, so we asked if we could leave them in the hotel for a couple of hours. They refused because we were not "currently" staying there, which I can kind of understand (even though we had just stayed there 6 nights!), but it would have been a nice gesture and avoid us the hassle to go to Ueno station to find bigger coin lockers. "Very strategically located in between Asakusa and Kuramae, which gives us flexibility to various subway lines within walking distance (Kuramae - Toei Asakusa Line and Toei Oedo Line; Asakusa - Asakusa Line & Toei Ginza Line). It’s room and bathroom are very tiny and we’ve got to open our luggage bags on the mattress. However, the room is very clean and neat and complete with all amenities (refrigerator, hair dryer, Shiseido shampoo conditioner and body soap, comb, toothbrush toothpaste, shower cap, etc). The hot spa on the 12F is a unique experience. Also, as the check out time is 11am sharp, but you may still want to go around Tokyo, you could leave your luggage bags at the lobby, which I find it very useful for us."

"Hotel is centrally located in Asakusa, and is near major tourist attractions and shopping areas. You can walk to most places by foot from here. It's also located 5-10mins away from the nearest train station (Asakusa station). Staff was very helpful and polite. Several of them took the time to reply to questions I've asked after the booking (before check-in) and they replied really quickly! During check-in, the receptionist on duty was very kind and helpful even though we were tired and arrived late for our check-in. Breakfast served was delicious and the staff at Okamisan dining were always pleasant and friendly! I highly recommend it! The only thing that may be a negative is the room size. Its pretty small (as with most rooms in Tokyo) so it was a bit hard for us as we had 2 huge luggages. But the rooms were really clean and compact, we had everything we need and are very happy with our stay here. Highly recommended!!"
