We had a great stay at Estadia Hotel Melaka! The location is excellent, conveniently close to popular tourist spots, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing space after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good variety of options to start the day. What stood out the most was the outstanding customer service—the staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Melaka!
A unique experience with this hotel”
This hotel was great and it being an affiliate hotel to Hatten we had high hopes for it. It did not disappoint from the rooms to the strategic location. However, we realized that the water supply in our room was merely impossible to use as it was yellow in color & dirty but we had no choice since basic necessities needed to be done. This situation has been going on for a long time as we discovered that the water had already corroded the bidet hose. This experience with Estadia was not expected at all as it is a "4 star" hotel we expected more from them. Maintenance should be done regularly to each room regardless of its activity hence the yellow water issue will not happen. We also discovered that the cups in our room were not cleaned. Second, we were not told to verify our parking ticket when checking in, which resulted in us paying the price when going out of the parking lot, a hint of unprofessionalism surfaced but they were kind enough to refund it for us. Overall, speaking from the bottom of our hearts we would still return to this hotel since it was a great experience despite the hiccups we met. The room was spacious, the bed was unbelievable, the staff were very helpful and actively attended us with the issues we told them about, and the air-conditioner was superb.
The Facade Did Not Do Justice ”
We were arrived in the wee hours of the morning having been stuck in traffic driving down from KL. Surprised to see a relative small entrance right at the parking for buses 😅 Despite the distraction, internal deco was really tastefully furnished 👍🏽.. truly appreciate the emphasis on local nyonya culture. Soke of the items like the ‘Bedak Nyonya’ & steel belts reminded me of my late grandma, may her soul rest in peace.. Oh all the staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful 👍🏽 The room was really comfortable and clean. We certainly had a well rested stay after going through the MotoGP weekend jam.. One area that was not so okay was the longggg walk from the parking 😅.. but okay lah for the cheapest room in the area for the facily 😊

POSITIVE EXPERIENCE: 1) Excellent front desk staff (En. Afiq). Good communication skills, polite and helpful! Should consider him a pay raise. 2) Breakfast was amazing! Spoil for choices and the kitchen team were quick to refill the food. 3) Cozy vibe with nice fragrance at the concierge area (LG). 4) Excellent choice of music that suits with the hotel vibe. 5) The water pressure in the bathroom was the highlight for me. It feels so good to take a good shower after a long & hot day outside. 6) Easiest checkout ever! Just leave your card on the counter and you're ready to leave. 7) Staff at the concierge were kind enough to assist with the bags and bring from my room to LG as the lobby is at 3rd Floor. NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE: 1) The room does not have much space. Troublesome for the muslim to perform prayer in the room. 2) Request for a King / Queen Bed but were told that the Hotel does not offer such option. They can only combine two single bed to make it as a "Queen Bed". So if you bring your toddler and they need to sleep in the middle, they may not feel comfortable as it'll sink over time. 3) Had problem with the access door (Room No. 630). Need to go back and forth at the lobby to get it fixed despite update / changing the access card. Should consider putting a phone near the lift so that guest can call from the same floor. 4) Room service did not make up the room (despite turning on the make up room switch) when i came back to the hotel at 3:00pm. Need to wait for them to come and get it done. Spoils your mood after a long day.
Good location and room, lacklustre facilities and staff ”
Good location as it is right beside the bus bay and I had 2 elderly with me so walking is best kept minimal. The suite was also good since it has a living area, 2 separate rooms and 2 separate toilets. I have read multiple reviews of poor cleanliness but for my room at least, I would say it was fairly clean ignoring some old water marks at less conspicuous areas. Facilities were a huge miss. Light switches and knobs were loose or the cover was completely gone. Wifi was unstable. When phones got locked out or when u leave the hotel, the wifi gets logged out and u will have to reenter the long password again. The hotel cards were also horrible. We had 2 night stays and everyday we had to go to the lobby to get access as the system locks u out every day. The lifts also required card access and similarly there were many occasions where it could not detect the cards. Front office staff was also poorly trained in service esp the Indian young lady. She was unhelpful and unfriendly during the check in and her tone and expression seems to tell everyone she is very done with her job. Only good service was from the Malay Pakcik who helps to store bags. He was courteous and smiley and often made small conversations Overall this hotel is worth it for the price, the room size and location so I’ll likely book again if I’m travelling in a group. If couple, I’ll probably consider another hotel.
