    “A Hidden Gem in Mindanao!”

    Dakak Park and Beach Resort exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a stunning view of the white sand beach and crystal-clear waters. It’s the perfect escape if you're looking for a peaceful yet adventure-filled getaway. The resort amenities were top-notch. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a great mix of rustic charm and comfort. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. What stood out the most were the activities: jet skiing, zip-lining, horseback riding, and island hopping—Dakak has it all! If you're into nature and adventure, there's no shortage of things to do. And the sunsets? Breathtaking. The food at the resort restaurants was delicious, with a mix of local and international dishes. I highly recommend trying their fresh seafood!     “Always pleased to be here.”

    We always know what to expect each time we come. But we enjoy the place. Grateful for the room upgrade placing us in the Prime cottages allowing a shorter walk to the beach, restaurant and Dolphin Pool. Room aircon needed some cleaning as we had to set them at lowest temperature (we're usually ok with 20°) and max fan to keep the temperature comfortable even at night. Ants in the room are a nuisance. But with all the plants and trees around, it's inevitable I guess. Beach tables needed more attention for cleaning. But guests were mostly to blame for this as some would not observe CLAYGO. Overall, we had fun.

    “Good but not brilliant”

    We arrived at Dakak for our two night stay hopeing to make the most of the facilities and activities and have a half day at nearby Fantasy Land. The Prime Delux room was really pleasant. It was spacious, and tidy and clean and the bathroom also had plenty of and separate toilet and shower cubilcles. We started with a wander around the site using the helpful map provided. First past the childrens pool which is a good way from the adult pool. Sadly this is next to a boarded of area which appears to include the several drains and water systems and there was a continuous smell of drains all the time. The beach is lovely and private due to the extended headlands eitherside. There are several restaurants including Il Patio for Italian food and a seafood restaurant but due to our short stay we only tried the Bamboo restaurant which was were breakfast is serviced. The food was good, but not spectacular, geared to the Filipino pallet, and the staff very polite and helpful. Howeverr due to the layout there seemed to struggled to see new arrivals and be available when something was needed. The downside of our stay, and a rare occurance I would hope, was a political event that took place on our full day. It included live music and they tested the sound system untill midnight the night before and started again at 6am. Our complaint was finally resolved to our satisfacton but we did advice them this should have been made clear when we called in advance. In summary on the whole we did like the resort and the staff were good but there was a certain lack of attention to detail aroubd the site which suggested to.myself, who has travelled quite a lot, that this isn't quite up to the standards of some similar priced hotels. On the note of cost i would highly recomend checking for the best deals. The resort may offer different deals fom the website but in this case Agoda offered a much better price than the resort did ( a good third less).

    “Great Stay for Families”

    Our family had a great stay at this porpoerty. The staff were exceptional. The facilities were top-notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had the pavilion and it was huge! It can accomodate 21pax maximum, so great for large number of family members. Location was not ideal for airport access but it offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A bit pricey because we went there at peak season but it’s okay though. The food in the restos are so delish! Sadly the pool were not that clean. Overall, this property provided great value for money and we would highly recommend it for families looking for beachfront getaway.

    “Francis ”

    Airport pickup is a must to avoid any hassle bargaining with the locals for transport to the hotel resort although we took the public mini bus and tricycles without any drama. The amenities and the surroundings are good and clean. All staff are very helpful and courteous. The food in the restaurant are reasonably priced and well presented. The beach is beautiful with crystal clear water. Good place to relax and unwind.
