Sweden hotels & accommodations
We stayed there for four nights at the beginning of August. It was me, my friend and her 2 year-old son. The location of this hotel is great, as it is right in the center of Stockholm right next to Central Station for metro and trains. It's also walking distance from Gamla Stan. I requested twin beds for the bedroom and they complied without a problem. During checking ...
Within walking distance of the Metro & Gamla Stan. Had a view of Stockholm waterways and looked towards the Tivoli. Beautifully presented room, however was onee of the smallest we had stayed in during our time in Denmark, Nowary & Sweden. Buffet breakfast was fabulous Staff were very accomodating & helpful
The hotel is located very near Central station which is a plus point for me as we are arriving and departing via rail to other parts of sweden. It is also within walking distance to the shopping area and old town. The room is ok...but the receptionist is great. They were very kind to allow us to check into one of the rooms early and even grant us a late checkout upo...
I stayed in a business class room, which is the size of the average Australian hotel, so this would makes it large by Sweden's standards. Wireless internet was fast and easy to connect, the room had an Iron and trouser press ( both a rarity in this part of the world)so that was great. Breakfast was the best I have experienced in any part of Sweden and if you cannot fin...
Decent hotel, but for a 4 star you’d think they would include a better than industrial public bathroom toilet paper. Also, technically a/c was on and working, but it just felt like it was just a fan blowing some air around. It wasn’t too hot outside though, so it was ok. Otherwise the room and bathroom were great. Large room and a huge shower. Breakfast was great. G...
The room is big and clean. Walking distance to the central station and old town. Bar and restaurant just downstairs. Sweden meatball tasted good!
We had the most fun stay and loved this place. I read tonnes of reviews before going so knew that the room would be small and prepared my husband for it. Although it was small, it was different for us to be in such a place and we had a lot of fun there and really enjoyed it. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the place was clean. Vanilla latte in the coffee ho...
We couldn't be happier with our 1 night stay here. The staff was extremely accommodating when we arrived early from a long flight, so we got the room in the morning. This was the best thing that could happen to us, as we could have a nap in the best bed in the world, before heading out to see the city. Rooms are just excellent, there is absolutely nothing that wasn't g...
We stayed for two nights and would have no hesitation in staying again as the whole experience was excellent. I would also say how impressed I was with all the star facilities foe example the bikes for hire and the ginger shots before breakfast all extras which in my experience Is something very different , well done . If I had one criticism I felt the evening meal...
They have a lot of amenity; free coffee or tea, sauna, free tour or service something. 10minuite to walk from central bus terminal. And everyday changed entrance password so safety, especially they have free pasta to eat is good to us in expensive sweden.
I had a great day and night in Malmo, where did impress my friend and me a lot. Strongly recommended for this hotel since it's really nice. The only thing for me is the bed size, a bit small to us but I found other bed in the same size in Sweden and Danmark, so that makes sense to me.
Visiting friends in Sweden, hotel was very convenient on night of arrival
This hotel is the best choise i have made ever in Sweden. Mostly at the reception desk person who was working is very kind
The Birger Jarl Hotel is centrally located within the city of Stockholm Sweden. Just a short walk away are many tourist attractions including ther main shopping precinct and wonderful restaurants. The Hotel is clean and is excellent value for money. The buffet breakfast is fantastic and provides a wide range of items that would satisfy everyone. On the top floor the...
Stockholm is expensive, so I booked this as the best somewhat affordably option with a central location. Right on top of the main station for the metro and across the road from the airport train (Arlanda Express), and 5-10 minutes walk from Gamla Stan (old city). Plenty of nearby restaurants to chose from. The property is aged but well maintained. The included breakfa...
Nice stay in central Malmo. Close to good shopping and ver decent and value for maoney reatuarants ( being in Sweden)
will definitely use this hotel agin anytime i visit sweden
The location was great - just a few minutes walk to the tramstop The staff at the front desk is not very accommodating. We informed the hotel in our booking that we would arrive around 11.00 am. When we arrived at the hotel, we were to told that the check in was after 15.00 o'çlock. We asked if we could leave our things in a storage and that was ok. When we got in th...
Ok, small room, ordinary breakfast, recommend it
in sweden, the bathroom with bathtub is rarely seen, because it had not been common habit for long time. however, radisson sas has bathtub. i think this is very good after long flight. radisson sas has been located in quite good place. this hotel is in centre of the airport and travellers don't need to carry their luggage long way. i strongly recommend for every...
A great choice when in need of a hotel close to Arlanda airport. Yellow buses, P3 Alfa, leaves every 10-15 minutes just outside every terminal at Arlanda, no cost. In 10 minutes you are ready to check in at the hotel. Big newly renovated room, great working space, excellent lighting, great bed and beautiful bathroom with shower. Minibar with fair prices. The included b...
We booked room 6 to fit us and our two small children. Although booking with shared bathroom, I never felt like the bathroom was busy. I had some doubts about the breakfast, given that previous reviews promised so but the canteen seemed kind of simple at first sight, but I was gladly surprised! :) Best of all, some of the breakfast stuff were open for guests to take t...
I booked a cheap room last minute and it was perfect for what I needed for a few days. Small basic room with a twin size bed and tv. Nothing fancy but I wasn't going for fancy. I would use them again.
We have stayed at many places around the world and Hotel Rival is one that we would come back to. Beautifully planned rooms, whistle clean, great food and cocktails and a staff that is focused on their guests. The location of the hotel is a bit away from the tourist attractions but a short walk to the underground brings the whole city to your feet. The concierge, Shaw...
We had a 4 night stay at Hotel Tegnerlunden which in Stockholm. The hotel was well priced for the being so close to the centre of the city and Sweden is generally an expensive country. We arrived at the central station and walked to the hotel, took around 10 minutes and was easy to find. We arrived several hours early hoping to leave our bags before going exploring....
The hotel was ok. It was expensive, even for Scandinavia. I think it catered to shoppers in the mall next door, we were looking for a hotel on our drive from Bergen to Copenhagen.
I liked the hotel. I really did. It had a lot of personality, it was very quiet, and the location was pretty good (close to a mall and a subway stop, about 20 minutes from Skansen and about 30 minutes from Gamla Stan). There were a few issues however. First of all, the room itself was rather small. No room even to walk around. Second, no air-conditioner or refrigerator...
The hotel was easy to find, close to the rail station in a leafy suburb with some shops right at the station. Their was also some restaurants close by. The hotel room had a small kitchen and all utensils to prepare a meal from ingredients bought at the local store. The beds were comfortable, the windows could open and the view from the 13th floor was very good as the h...
Easy to travel around !! Small hotel but great facilities, rooms are clean, staffs are nice and give a good advise !!~
Room is very small, not much of toiletries provided, no fridge in the room, breakfast was very basic,
Cheap places to stay in Sweden
as an hostel in the basement, I understand why there r a couple of negative feedback up here. you need to be prepared for the feeling of getting no window view of what's going on outside, not even raining or sunshine. well money gives solution, esp with stronger and warm lighting in rooms and public area, and replace some old items in the rooms… I mean probably the mat...
Very clean in hostel. We with my sun (3y) was comfortable in the kitchen, shower-room and the room. In the kitchen was many common food which are could used. In hostel have cafe. Quick wi-fi in room. There are several shower-room. There are tables on the street where you can sit in the evening and eat. Thanks to the owners and staff of the hostel for the warm welcome, ...
I had a nice stay in the hostel. There was an extra charge for the sheets and towel, which i disliked. The wifi did not work inside the room so you had to go outside to get working signal. There were lockers for every bed which was convenient. The location was good and they have a map with cheap places to eat shop etc. The staff were excellent.
The room is big and clean. Walking distance to the central station and old town. Bar and restaurant just downstairs. Sweden meatball tasted good!
They have a lot of amenity; free coffee or tea, sauna, free tour or service something. 10minuite to walk from central bus terminal. And everyday changed entrance password so safety, especially they have free pasta to eat is good to us in expensive sweden.
The toilet and shower room are clean, and provide shower and shampoo, laundry is 30 SEK, staff was kind, they provide lots of travel information about eats and play.
Right next to the central station of Uppsala, clean rooms + kitchen + showers. Walking distance to everywhere and helpful staff. Best value for money in town.
This hostel is in a great location! Really close to the train/bus station, the free ferry to Aspö, the Marine Museum, etc. It's a quiet hostel, with a lot of Swedes staying there. There was a washing machine and tumble dryer that could be used for free, which was great!
House that share with two other family. Nice breakfest. Nice kitchen.
I enjoyed this hostel. Not that central to the main town of Gothenburg but well set up and clean and hood vobdiyion. Great kitchen n dining area. Only issue is the owner isn't available very much and needs to be there more during the day. Nice guy tho.
the location is good because it is easy access to the centre train/bus station and to copenhagen ferry station. it is also close to reasonably economic shopping areas and restaurants. the fresh produces open-market is walking distance. everything was convenient especially for a single traveller like me.
This is actually one of my friend who stayed at the 4-mixed room. The bed were bunk beds but it's comfortable, it wasn't fulfilled with 4 persons inside the room, the room was quite big and clean. The staffs were all great and helpful. The kitchen wasn't too big but it's clean and everything was functioning really well. They had stoves, oven, 2 refrigerators, microwave...
This hostel was fairly quiet, which is good if you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay. The staff (Camilla) was excellent and really helpful. Having free bikes to use was really great, especially because the hostel is a little bit out of town. The hostel was really comfortable, clean, spacious and had all the facilities I needed.
Nice hotel goodvaluta
But the staff is really unfriendly...
We were traveling with our college aged son and needed a room for the night. This B&B had a room with a sleeper sofa in a separate space with a tv, which worked out great. There wasn’t a closing door between the rooms but it allowed for some privacy. A privacy curtain might be an improvement. Very clean, comfortable, modern and nicely decorated. Big bathroom with good ...
Perhaps one of the best backpacker i've stayed at. Location wise it cannot be more perfect, being a stone throw away from the central station. It's clean and it's VERY SPACIOUS, you can literally hold a yoga class for 3 in the room. I've stayed at too many backpackers where there is not even enough space to open your luggage fully. There is a nice kitchen with 2 fridge...
Good value for money. Clean, warm and comfortable rooms, fast wi-fi and beautiful natural location surrounded by forests and lakes. The gentleman who runs it is very friendly and welcoming and offered lots of useful tips on local attractions and things to do in the area. Unfortunately I could only stay for 1 night as I was just passing by on a motorbike trip, but would...
If you carry a lot of luggages, this is the ideal hotel for you, above the train station and very close to the point of departure of the buses for Stockholm. Next to the staircase, there is a spacious lift. The room was alright, with a nice lemon smell every time I opened the door. Apart from the bed, there was a table, a painting in the wall and a closet. Sheets and a...
It will be perfect if there is water taip in the room
I stayed one night here when I went to Halmstad to see a concert with the Swedish band Gyllene Tider. I chose this place due to the price, but it turned out that the hostel was inside the concert venue - and from my room I actually had a full view of the whole scene and audience of the concert! However, I still chose to go inside and see the concert as my ticket alread...
ok
Nice hotel next to Stortorget in downtown Karlskrona. service minded staff.

Excellent! Remember, 1000kr are a whole apartment. If you would like to stay in a small room instead, talk to the staff and pay there.
We were in town to visit a friend and wanted a convenient location to stay. Fuss-free place.
Hotel is great with very good location very good value for money and friendly staff. I would highly recommend it to everyone who comes to Malmo.
we were accepted with open arms, shown around and even assisted after hours, after I lost the card with our password information shown. Thank you for a great stay!
Great place for a short stay. Room was clean and has all the basic you might need. Do bring your own toiletries!
Free breakfast was superb with a variety of choices.

The hotel is good, breakfast is good, but the hotel does not have a phone. This can be an issue for wake up calls, room to room, or making and receiving phone calls.
Absolutely wonderful. We booked the most expensive(and largest)apartment expecting a few more people to stay with us. As a result we had even more room that we thought we would have. However this apartment was so large and with so many sitting and dining areas we would not have been crowded in any circumstance. Tastefully and exquisitely decorated. The Perseus is right...
Was easy to find from the ferry terminal, only about 10 to 15 minutes walk. On a square facing the Tourist information in middle of the Old Town. All major attractions within easy walking distance. Rooms very nice, good breakfast, pleasant staff.
We had a very nice staying at this hotel. The room felt brand new, the personnel was very nice and the breakfast was great. A central hotel close to everything. Easy to find parking nearby.
The location is very good. Just outside the station. The parking facility, however, is not very near the hotel. Can see that the hotel is rather old but well maintained. Friendly and approachable staff they have at the reception.
It seems to be very strange to close the hotel for the weekend.
Kramer is kind of an institution in Malmo. An old well maintained heritage style hotel with modern facilities. Great location on the "big square" with less than 5 minutes walking distance from the Malmo Central railway station, and many restaurants around the hotel ("Little Square" is just a stone throw away with loads of restaurants). Great breakfast sitting on the be...
The best was silence, then breakfast, then location, stuff, cleanliness. Everything was good.Than you!
The hotel was nice, god staff, near by a Turkish restaurant which we as middle east people prefer to have its food, also a very nice park beside it, I liked it and will definitely visit it again.
I arrived after midnight and at the counter was still a friendly woman to welcome me. At the breakfast, the restaurant doesn't look well organized. There is not much place in case the hotel is fuully booked. The bathroom is very basic and not really a 4-star standard, it should be renovated. But all together it is not a bad choice to stay there 1 or 2 nights.
The hotel is basic by international standards, but the rooms are comfortable and there is a gym/sauna/jaccuzi. Breakfast is good and the restaurant food (dinner) is excellent. Unfortunately they took no notice of my special requests in the booking and as I arrived quite late it was difficult to rectify. Best to call the hotel on the day to make sure you get what you wa...
This hotel is located in a quiet town away from the busy Stockholm City Centre. It provides a great base to explore the quiet and charming nature trails along the archipelago island. May want to consider arranging this at the beginning of your Stockholm trip, as it quickly sets you in a vacation mode. However note that it takes a fair bit of walking around on foot if ...
I travel throughout the world on business. Very rarely in an upscale hotel, does the exercise room close at 2200. Most are open 24 hours a day. I was also disappointed when I learned after buying the largest steak on the menu, and likely the most expensive menu item, that it did not come with a salad. Only the special came with the small salad bar. I enjoy an occasi...
Looks old on the outside but when u enter its WOW! Excellent food (Free food almost all day), good internet. Room has sufficient power points. Its near the old castle with a beautiful view. Very nice location within Orebro. Highly recommended.
Despite the building works going on The Grand was very special - beautiful building inside and out. Breakfast was fabulous.
We stayed as a mid point between Gothenburg and Stockholm. A bit of a drive off the motorway, but bery pretty little town. Perfect for one night, two was OK anymore would be pushing it. Hotel room was OK, no bath, Breakfast was standard fare for Sweden. A bit expensive. Hotel restaurant wasn't great. (eg ordered wine and the cork bottle appeared already opened?)
Luxury hotels in Sweden
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The location is just some kms away from the shopping centers. Their rates are affordable. The staff are friendly and nice.
Upper House claim themselves to be a "modern 5 star hotel of top international class" and the hotel has the amenities and the facility to become a top 5 star International hotel; Marble floors in the hallway and bathroom, designer sofas and chairs in the room and an Amazing Spa for the Upper House hotel guests.
