We loved the environment of the hotel. The atmosphere of the place is young and modern. Our room was very spacious and confortable. It had a living room, a kitchen, bathroom, main room and a small room with an extra bed. We also loved the the breakfast! Delicious breads, fruits and many other options, all free range and organic. Unfortunately we didn't have time to have dinner at the restaurant. It was our best option of stay during our 15 days in New Zealand! Definetly recommend!

Hotel 115 is located in the center of city, 3 minutes away from a pedestrian area full of restaurants and cafes and has everything you need at a good price. The hotel is unique because it’s is part of a restoration project of Christchurch heritage light-rail. Basically, the hotel building is the old city light rail deposit, now converted to a covered shopping area with cafes, restaurants, tourist agencies and guess what... an active vintage light rail stop. Definitely something unexpected in the heart of Christchurch and a great stop for your photo memories and selfies. The comfort of the hotel is comparable to what the high end hotel chains offer and rooms are designed to give you a five star experience with high quality mattresses and linen. Bathroom are standard size and have a colorful touch. Staff is remarkable and ready to help you with your requests. Big plus is that the hotel has a big parking lot which is free after 5 pm until 9 am. The only minus is that I would improve the frigobar selection with local wines and some snacks.

this is a nice hotel with good facilities for a four star hotel in new zealand. it is located on the main street in auckland (queen street) just on the edge of the cbd. there were a good selection of resturants within walking distance and the hotel itself has a good resturant. it has good connections to and from auckland international airport with an airport express bus stop just outside the hotel front door. the room was clean and well presented. the hotel was good value and i would be happy to use it again next time i visit auckland city.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 people. This place is beautiful! It is one if the best place that we stayed out of the 2 weeks in New Zealand. I would love to stay for longer if it was possible. Haha... Toilets downstairs and upstairs is a bonus. The bathroom is so spacious just like the rooms and the living area. The kitchen had everything to cook up a good meal. Beds are very comfortable too. The washing machine and the dryer was also very useful.

We were so happy with our 6 day stay at The Glebe in January. We stayed in the studio room which was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had everything in our kitchen even a rice cooker! It was the best provisioned kitchenette we have ever stayed at. They provided you with an abundance of every amenity even down to the dish soap. The ladies who run this fabulous establishment do an amazing job at making their guests feel completely welcome and do whatever they can to action every request. It's been a long time since I have been at a hotel that always answered 'yes' to any reasonable request that you had. You are so close to everything in downtown Queenstown making it easy to grab food from the store or go out for dinner.

Unfortunately, due to extra late arrival of plane into New Zealand, we did not check-in until early hours of the morning and thus missed a dinner booking at the hotel's restaurant and had a shortened night's sleep. However, the bed was very comfy and breakfast location and breakfast itself very good. The only issue to consider for visitors is to be sure to have a good map of area, as the streets in the area of the hotel are tricky and at the late hour of the night proved a little difficult to find in our hire car, even though not all that far from the airport. A longer and better planned stay is recommended!

Stayed in Christchurch for our last night in New Zealand. Stumbled upon southwark apartments while searching for accommodation in the city. It is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed although quite compact the room features are your essentials. Could do with better sound insulation it's never nice to be woken up but someone else's baby crying at 6am. Other notable features are fast free internet and the best tv I've ever used outside my own home even compared to luxury hotels.

Overall the hotel was good. The location was by far one of the best in Quenstown. Hotel rooms were decent with large bathrooms but age is showing. Limited television channels. There is no free wifi access except for 30 minutes in the Lobby Area every 24 hours which was very disappointing considering the prices we paid. You would have to pay otherwise. We have stayed at motels in New Zealand with free and uninterrupted wifi. Novotel should be aware by now that free wifi access is a must-have for international travelers.

The location was exactly how I like - not right in the city centre (no noise, no crowd, no pollution), but very close it. By very close, I mean easily walkable. There's a short cut to reach the centre centre by foot - which is uphill (only about 100 meters or so - the rest of the way is quite flat) when you go back to the hotel but almost all of New Zealand has big ups and downs. It wasn't a problem for me although I had a bad knee scrape at that time. The room itself was quite spacious and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The staff were very responsive and professional. The room was serviced everyday (basic cleaning and replacing towels etc,) - I was surprised that they even did the dishes when I left in a rush left a few dishes in the sink. Like many other hotels in NZ, this is also easily reachable by Super Shuttle from the airport ($20). Overall, I had no complaints and had a very pleasant stay. I think it's very good value for money. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Really great location to get up the mountains for skiing or go exploring to Arrowtown but also still close to central Queenstown. Only a 5 minute drive from the airport so convenient to get to once you arrive. Having the washing machine and dryer was really great and they provided the washing liquid too. Having the full kitchenette was also fantastic as it meant we could pop down to the supermarket two minutes up the road and then cook our own food to save some money. Beautiful clean room - as it should be for a very new hotel.

The heater in the room for cold days is not enough, need to ask for extra heater or electric blanket. We traveled I'm new Zealand from 5/17, I know most good quality accommodation can provide in the room(strong heater, air condition, or electric blanket). We are traveling with baby and our parents, we can't let our family have chance to get sick while sleeping. One of the managers at the reception first day ask us to tell them if we really feel code at the first night (so strange, we already use the heater more than three hours and we really feel cold in the room though she finally give us a extra heater after we use agoda message to complaint this) and when the manager leave our apartments complaint we are ridiculous(michelle). The second day my parents told me they feel very cold at night and my mom doesn't feel well, therefore we put the extra heater we got first day in my parents room. And ask extra heater or electric blanket for my parent's. The second day manager do help us quickly, but she mentioned in soda message our room is very hot (I put the extra heater in my parents room that's why when staff is coming the room is warm). I talked to other guests also stay in the apartments they feel warm in the room because the first day the apartment staff already provide electronic blanket. And manager Michelle not give us two extra heater first day because the other apartment need one. I don't believe most apartment room are warm enough with the weak heater, especially the days we stayed queenstown temperature went down quickly.

As our flight into Queenstown arrived early in the morning we transferred to this hotel expecting to just leave our bags and return later in the day. Upon arriving, the duty manager took it upon herself to liaise with housekeeping staff to have one of the two rooms we had booked ready for us within the hour. The duty manager took our mobile number and called us within the hour while we having breakfast to advise the room was ready and we could return and check in at our leisure. This allowed us to wander around Queenstown and get some breakfast and have a shower after a long flight then get on with our full day of activities. The service at this property was impeccable. The rooms are very well appointed with great views and very comfortable beds. A great experience.

The room is spacious and feels very new and clean. Staff was very friendly during the check-in and advising on the check-out routine, as we will require the keycard for the carpark before checking out. There is underground hotel car park available. I'm not sure if it is a 1-1 ratio of parking lots to the hotel rooms, as the car park was full. Location is good, as it is near shopping and marts, but is a good 10-15mins drive to Queenstown central where all the actions are. A good middle-ground between Queenstown (actions) and Gibbston Valley (Wineries)

booked the motel for a night of rest before exploring the franz josef glacier. the alpine glacier motel resembles a typical motel with car parking and a reasonable and clean room, which was pleasantly spacious. the 30 mins of free internet in particular was very useful, given the scarcity of internet in new zealand. the staff was also exceptionally friendly and helpful. would recommend this as a good stop over point for those exploring the glacier.

The location is hard to find for one not familiar with Wellington, parking is $25.00 a night extra and so it is an internet connection. Entrances are inconvenient and one poorly marked. The room was small and cramped. But the worst thing about this hotel was the service at the front desk. When we checked in, we inquired if breakfast was included, and the answer, which was it was not in the case of our booking, was given in a manner that at best was condescending and was closer to contemptuous; when we checked out, we were not asked how we enjoyed our stay and the person checking me out made no eye contact with me, and in addition to the failure to ask about our stay, offered no pleasantries on our departure, such as wishing us a good day or a continued enjoyable time in New Zealand, which with they exception of her surly and snotty service, we had done and continued to do!

We had a really bad trip this time due to weather conditions and cancelled planes, and this hotel saved us. I was extremely tired when we arrived there, they did everything they can to get our room ready. They gave us the most delicious cookie of my life too. It feels like a chateau, European vibe with New Zealand green. Plus, best restaurant in Town -Dux- is at 6-7 min walking distance.

Apartment location is good - an easy walk to town and the skyline gondola. Could enjoy the view of the surroundings along with parachutes lazily floating their skydivers down at the balcony. We left our car parked there throughout our stay - walked to the skyline gondola, The Station Building (where we boarded our bus tour to Milford Sound), Fergburger (awesome stuff), etc. Just walk. Kitchenette is well equipped. In addition to the usual stove, cutlery, crockery, utensils and the like, they also have an oven and a dishwasher. Only thing is it would be better to buy your ingredients in bigger supermarkets like Pak n Save and New World instead of the smaller Four Square nearby. Oh yes, we got a complimentary small bottle of milk at check-in - nice. Bathroom contained the washing machine, along with a complimentary packet of washing detergent - absolutely convenient. We happily washed all our clothes and hung them to dry on the laundry rack. Dried ok in the living room, thanks to the functioning and well-placed heater. Do note that we are not allowed to hang anything in the balcony. In the sleeping area, there's a King-sized bed and a near-queen-sized bed. Both had electric heaters, which meant we really didn't want to get out of bed in the cold winter mornings. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay here again.

I spent 3 nights at the St. James Apartments. On entry I was a little concerned, the was vaccuming going on and few people getting in or out. Specially since it is not our standard reception area like big hotels, I was a little worried. Check in was easy headed to Room 307. Actually it was a suite, two huge beds, each equipped with shower etc, then the was the kitchen a living room and dinning table. In honesty 6 people could fit just fine. Everything was clean and well appointed. The the was the view from the balcony ( looking directly at the very green hill was nice every morning. Plus you are in the middle of downtown Queenstown. So you are proximal to grocery store and restaurants. The staff I dealt with mostly was super helpful, she even helped me book my day flight to Milsford Sounds ( must do). Now it was a little pricey and a little noise since Room windows open to a road. But all I needed to do was close the window and noise dead down. Thank you for great stay! Keep it up!

I've stayed so many hostels in New Zealand and this hostel was the cleanest. They change towels everyday if you require so it was comfortable. I stayed 2 nights and there were so many snowboarders and skiers in this hostel and they used shower at almost the same time so they ran out hot water after 7pm. A receptionist explained to me why there's no hot water and she said that I have to wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour then I can use hot water again, but it never came back both nights which was not really good. If its summer time then it wouldn't be a problem I guess. 今までニュージーランド内で滞在したホステルの中では一番部屋が綺麗でした。 毎日タオルも希望すれば替えてもらえます。 ちょうど滞在した２日間はスノボ／スキーに来てる人ばっかりだったらしく、ちょうど同じ時間帯にシャワーを使うためかお湯が夜７時以降は全く使えませんでした。受付の人が30分〜１時間待てばまたお湯が出ると説明してくれましたが、２日間とも夜にお湯は全く出る気配さえありませんでした。冬だしさすがに水のシャワーを浴びれないので困りました。 夏ならたぶんそんなに気にならなかったかもと思います。

clean hotel and friendly staff, with great views overlooking the lake. the room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable, and exactly as represented. queenstown is a small resort town so the fact that it's not located in the center of town may be a drawback for some, but there is a bus that comes regularly for $4 nzd that drops you off right in town within five minutes, so it's quite easy. also, if you have a car, location isn't an issue. the gym and exercise room is a plus - several weight machines, large set of free weights and also several treadmills and bikes. this is better than many other hotels or hostels that don't have any fitness centers. the key drawbacks however are how expensive internet is -- there's 30 minutes free wireless in the lobby, but the cost in the hotel room is quite high (we're talking about $10 nzd for an hour or 15 mb, or something like that). i will provide a disclaimer in that it's tough to find free internet in new zealand anywhere (best bet might be to buy a $5 nzd coffee or food item at a mcdonald's and get an hour of free usage), and that was the only lowlight.

stayed in deluxe king room. a big clean room. service is great as well. upon arrival, we were approached on places that can be visited, places to eat, etc... second day of stay, we did not need the room to be cleaned. however, new set of towels are automatically given to us without having to request. basement parking is available. access to room from basement is just a flight of staircase away. we rented a bicycle and unfortunately it rained. the hotel has a storeroom in the basement to store the bicycle. most of the time, we walked to town which is very near (not more than 5 mins). not the cheapest around, but great stay.
