Mixed feelings about Beach Resort Morimar”

On agoda, Beach Resort Morimar is sold as two or three bedroom apartments.We booked the 2 room apartment, that allows for 2 to max 4 persons (2 rooms). But the price is calculated not based on the unit of apartment but the number of persons checking in which we found weird and confusing. Due to communication barrier with hotel personnel, we thought we understood from the check in counter that the usage of microwave oven is chargeable?! there is no wifi in the apartment, only LAN. the beach is very short not fit for sea activities due to shallow and rocky shore.

Nice Getaway at an Affordable Price”

I live locally but wanted to get away for the weekend with some friends. We really enjoyed their 3 bedroom beach view condo. It was spacious and provided a beautiful view. I really enjoyed the room having two single beds in each room. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. There is a decent sized kitchen but there are no dishes or utensils except for tea cups. Would recommend this place and would bring my family here.

Well worth every cent of your money”

Own beach with guards on duty from 9am (no water activities before that), 2 types of breakfast-Continental and Japanese, fast-speed LAN internet, lots of TV channels, comfortable big single beds, 2 of us stayed in a family room, wide balcony, great entertainment for children and family (arcade and 2 pools), near a couple of nice restaurants, parking was 500 yen (would be great if it was free), staff was very helpful.

Decent and affortable”

Highly recommand this hotel if you travel with a group . Large room with 2 bedrooms. Kitchen factilies is available for only 1000yen/stay. It's just a simple hotel, no swimming pool, Spa..instead a beautiful beach is in front of us. So what do u need more?

Comfortable resort for big family”

It is a very good resort for family. We are reserved a 3 bedrooms for 6 people. It has a suite room and living room with open kitchen. We can prepare and enjoy our breakfast by our self with great sea view. The price also reasonable.

It was a really great hotel for the family, so we enjoyed everything, especially the beach.

No WIFI”

Great place and great location. The staff was exactly expected. The place is right next to the beach which many people don't seem to frequent. Breakfast was a great choice as well. They mainly had Asian dishes, which I loved, and they had a few American style breakfast items such as scrambled eggs and sausages. Would definitely love to stay there again but this time I'll bring a mobile WIFI.

Location was great. Included Japanese/Chinese breakfast buffet was delicious. Room was adequately cleaned. Towels were changed daily, but beds were not made daily.

October horror in Okinawa”

Arrived on Saturday afternoon early October to find only me and my companion at the place despite the fact that Agoda advertised the room to be Morimar's last remaining one. Staff didn't speak very good english but was very kind and helpful. Room was okay for building's age. There are couple of better restaurants and bars nearby. Many graves around the place without streetlights with is a bit freaky and don't go into the beach behind the resort - it's full of crawling creatures that would do no good for your appetite.

Friendly staffs , 2 of us stay at a very big apartment with 3 big room, nice breakfast , very fast-speed at lobby and staff was very helpful.

Although it is worth the money for families group travelling together because of the spacious 3-bedroom Unit that come with a kitchenette, but the building especially the restaurant looks rundown. It comes with nice sea view too.
