"This was my 3rd trip to Sosua and I would not return here unless it was free. The staff was fine and the location is pretty good as I like Alicia beach. My only issue is the noise and the shower. The shower is almost useless.at least in my room (8). No pressure whatsoever. The switch that controls the ceiling fan had a high pitch buzzing noise that is really loud. I didn’t bother asking for another room because my instincts told me it would not be worth the effort. Also there are no outlets near the bed which is more of a irritation than complaint. There are people that swear by this place and maybe it was better years ago, but it’s definitely not for me."

"From the very minute I arrived until the minute I left, I was treated like royalty. The hospitality of Marina and her staff was exceptional. She is such a genuinely caring and generous person and her staff follows her example. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere there. I was completely relaxed and if I needed help with getting a taxi or understanding the culture or language, Marina was always available to help. I will be spending most of my time in the Dominican Republic in Santiago and La Vega, but I will only stay at Caribbean Diamond when I am in the Sosúa area. "

" The hotel is fairly new. It is on one of the main streets but still very quiet in the evenings. I have no issues sleeping . The bed is very comfortable . The room is very basic and the air-conditioning works well . The free breakfast is good and it includes juice and coffee . I have no issues with the Wi-Fi . The staff is what makes this hotel stand out . The front desk is very friendly and helpful as well as the cleaning staff . Add check out I asked the front desk to call a taxi for me to go to the airport, but instead one of the guys at the front desk drove me to the airport for free I refuse to take a tip . "
