"I would recommend this place for solo travellers because it is a nice place to meet tons of good people and make friends with them. Otherwise I would advice to look for other places where it could give more value to your money. At 20USD, you can already find a decent private double bedroom in Siargao. Their staff is very nice and they would offer free drinks every night before the start of daily games and activities. Their food is amazing also and their bed is surprisingly comfortable. It is also walking distance to Cloud 9. What I didnt like: 1. I found a rat crawling on my bed so they were kind enough to transfer me to another room 2. There were flies all over the restobar which is kinda stressful when you are eating 3. They have serious water problem and they need to fix it. Their shower is not working most of the time when I was there. 4. Intermittent wifi connection and totally no connection inside the dormitory room 5. Need to clean the toilet more often everyday"

"Best stay in Siargao. 🙌 Although a bit far from the main tourist area (approx. 10 min. travel time and the road a bit dusty. But everything else made up for it. The staff were friendly and nice making you feel at home, the room clean, although there are occassional power outages in the area (they have a generator though.) If you're looking for a budget friendly stay in Siargao then this is perfect. Oh, there's free drinking water in the hallway and free breakfast as well. 😉 "

"Stay was fine, the room its self was clean and the bed was nice, comfy and clean. The bathroom however was pretty bad, I went into many of them, 1 had no toliet seat, 1 without a mirror, a few with broken soap holders, no toliet roll holder, etc, shower head was terrible in every room and showers were from captured water. No soap or toliet paper, you had to ask but they would give you. Free water the first day and nothing after, stayed for 4 nights, no re clean of the rooms at all. Aircon also wasn't the best. However, owner is lovely and staff are friendly and great, hopefully they read this and fix the bathrooms, if they do then it would be a pleasant stay for anyone. "

"It was my first time to visit the island of Siargao (having visited almost all the islands of the Philippines) and let me just say I was blown away by the exquisiteness of the place. I am not a surfer and so I was keen in finding a resort that had a pool, an amazing view and amenities that would complement the beauty of the place and Siargao Bleu Resort fit the job to a T. Stayed at the Siargao Bleu Resort from the 26th until the 29th of May 2016. The place was opened last September and it was wonderful to experience a new and luxurious resort in the island paradise of Siargao. The pictures actually don't do justice to the place. Melot, the owner, was so gracious in her welcome and ensured that everything was taken cared of. Free land rides were provided for the guests of which I allowed myself to use to see the other parts of the island. Though I am not a surfer, the place was a few minutes away from Cloud 9 where surfers show their skills and an interested "beginner" such as I could indulge. I also rented their own bicycle to go around the island of which was so precious an experience. Back to the hotel, there was a huge swimming pool where one could not just swim but also kayak! They also bake fresh coconut bread in front of the guests within the resort... Isn't that luxurious?! The hotel organized the island hopping of Guyam, Dako and Naked Island of which blew me away! For those who are familiar with Boracay in the 80s, Dako Island is such. Naked island is a long sand bar and to experience that privately while watching the sunset there made me realize (again) how blessed Filipinos are to have such in the country. This organizing would not be possible had it not been for the excellent advice of Mench. She was awesome! Also ask for Alan as your tour guide for he will make the tour just absolutely perfect. On the final day, I had the privilege of being escorted by the manager, John, to the airport and was treated like VIP showing an amazing view of the Naked "
