"This will be my goto hotel in Shenzhen from now on. Staff was very accommodating, despite limited English. Location was one street parallel to the main Shopping Street in Dongmen. Subways were less than a 5 minutes walk. Lots of local eating places, cheap. A bit harder to find mid-level restaurants with table cloths! Extremely comfortable beds and air-con matched the ultra-comfortable 2 inch thick comforters. Housekeeping was staffed throughout the day and linen was changed daily. Breakfast was adequate, though not geared towards Western palate beyond toast with butter and jam. And custard egg tart. Need to especially mention the free laundry service that turned around in about three hours!"

"Great hotel. For the money, the value is good but not great; there are cheaper hotels in Shenzhen but they aren't as nice. I stayed for 3 nights and one of those nights I didn't get fruit. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a welcoming thing or if it was for every day. The bathtub in my room was pretty shallow. The staff was extremely helpful. Especially the concierge! He was very patient with me even though I had a million questions for him. "

"With on-going hotel renovations outside of the hotel. It may not look very appealing at first but when you get inside the room, it's like you're in a different place. The rooms are newly renovated and looks very cozy for the price that I paid. From the kingsize bed, soft pillows, bedcovers, bathroom fixtures and the granite that they installed in the rooms are very tasteful. The rooms are not so big yet not so small. Very accessible to Xianxicun Metro station (exit A). From the station, just go straight at about 200 meters. The downside in our experience was the breakfast. We stayed there for 4 days and they only serve Oriental dishes. Noodles (2 kinds, the flat and the round) are served everyday (and the hard boiled eggs too). There should have been a variation and should include American breakfast too."

"We chose this hotel as we wanted something close to Huaqiangbei where all the electronics stores are located. We also needed access to the internet and this was the only hotel in that vicinity that offered free Wi Fi. Other hotels nearby charged alot more for their rooms and extra for internet access. Near the hotel are many restaurants and there is a Seven Eleven less than a block away. We found a great street vendor about 4 blocks away (turn left as you exit the hotel)selling freshly cooked bread. The people cooking the bread looked like they were from Tibet. For only 2 Yuan each the bread was very cheap and delicious. We had a standard room and the room was simple and comfortable and had large windows so had plenty of light. We looked onto the neighbouring apartment block with people's washing hanging on their balconies, which we didn't mind, gave us an insight into apartment living in China. Also, despite being so close to neighbouring buildings there was no noise, in fact the room was very quiet. The staff were friendly and polite however only some of the managers spoke English. Would definitely recommend this hotel. "
