Nadi hotels & places to stay

We stayed at Hilton Fiji for 3 night in February and the whole time was amazing. Every staff was very great, friendly, caring and we got the best service ever. Swimming pools are very good and clean. Restaurants are great, so many cool place to choose to sit. Room is very nice, big, and clean. Hotel is only 15-20 minutes from airport and there are lots of buses to/from hotel. Breakfast is plenty and if you book hotel included breakfast you can choose to have breakfast at any restaurant you like (2 to choose from). Food is expensive but good quality. If you want to go in town, $1 westbus can take you to Nadi town easy, fast and lots cheaper to eat. The best thing about this hotel is staffs. They are so so amazing and friendly and helpful. Definitely going back there again.

Great location – just situated just across the road from Nadi airport – courtesy bus was there waiting for us. Front of desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed here twice during our family holiday to Fiji. The staff were friendly and very accommodating always greeting with a smile. The pool and gym facilities were a real bonus. Rooms super clean and comfortable. Good breakfast selection again everything spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay at the Gateway Hotel again and would highly recommend.

I stayed at the Tokatoka Resort Hotel in August 2015 when I had just the one night transit in Nadi, chose this place on the recommendation of a friend. From the moment I met the shuttle bus driver at the airport I was made to feel welcome. All the staff are welcoming and never stop smiling. The internet speed is great and connection reliable, I paid the FJD$20 for the 24hr connection. The restaurant had a great selection, service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. The quartet that were playing were very entertaining even coming around to individual tables to sing people their own song. Still not sure why they thought "Wind Beneath My Wings" was appropriate for an Australian travelling alone but at least I knew the tune so could hum along. I stayed in Studio Villa 315 and it was spot on. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone needing accommodation near the airport. I was only in Fiji for a total of 16 hours so can't provide much advice on how suitable it is for a longer term stay if you are looking to do activities.

Due to Cyclone Evan I booked Radisson Blu only a couple of nights before we arrived through Agoda as I had some points saved up. Once inside the resort, you would not have even known there had been a cyclone, they had done a wonderful job cleaning up and all the staff seemed to be in good spirits which certainly attributed. We arrived at the hotel at around 7.00am in the morning after an early flight from Melbourne, and after a nightmare flight (if you have ever flown when you have the flu, you may understand the pain of landing) were eager to just get some rest. We did not expect whatsoever to be able to check-in so early, rather just hoped to be able to leave our bags at least and find somewhere within the resort to relax until check-in time. However, the WONDERFUL man at check-in (Ledua was his name I think?) advised us we could have our room immediately and upgraded us from a Lagoon Guest Room to a One-bedroom Suite. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. There was a mini-bar and coffee & tea facilities. The sofa couch we noted would be perfect if travelling with children with the TV, as well as another TV in the bedroom. Large dining table, full kitchenette and small balcony (good if one of you is a smoker). I am a very light sleeper normally, even at home. But at the Radisson they have fantastic blinds that block out all light if need be, and a huge, comfortable bed. It's a perfect location if you do like the whole 5-star resort thing, especially for Fiji first-timers as the Denarau marina is the departure point for many day trips out to the Mamanucas. We really enjoyed our short stay at the Radisson and would no doubt recommend it to anyone considering Denarau, or Fiji!

Had a wonderful stay. Large room which was clean and comfortable with great views from balcony of beach, sea and sunsets. Basic but good breakfast. Food and service really good at restaurant where we had dinner. Friendly staff. Some evenings hotel arranged entertainment and the show we saw on the last night was amazing with fire dancers on the beach. There was a bus from very close to hotel which went into Nadi town and cheap. Only small issue was the bathroom looked a little worn in places (especially shower) but only needs a bit of work done to make it fine. A great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Booked a night before i departed for Fiji on the and spent just one night after jetting in from LA at 6am(Fiji time) 11th of Dec. As promised, pick up from Nadi Airport was available even though it was a bit late but did not affect our stay. A room was available and we got breakfast for that morning as well. Nice and friendly service from the staff at Wailoaloa considering that i am a local Fijian, and i have had some bad experiences with some hotel staff in other hotels in Nadi towards local visitors. I would gladly recommend this place for those looking for affordable and very accommodating staff.

Our stay at the Westin Denarau was amazing. This trip was a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and we had a great time. The service provided by ALL of the staff was great with special mention to Asiveni who I was in touch with before arriving in Fiji and who ensured the staff knew about my boyfriend’s birthday. On his birthday they found us at the pool and delivered a glass of champagne while singing happy birthday which was lovely. The ocean view room was very comfortable and was turned down every day. The Bula bus travelling between the Denarau resorts and the Marina is very handy for just $8FJD. The Marina gives an extra choice of shops and restaurants to utilise. The Meke Bar at the Westin is great, serving cheaper cocktails during Bula Hour every night and often providing entertainment such as fire dances or crab racing. Being able to walk between all the resorts at Denarau and especially use all the facilities at the Sheraton is very handy. Note that the water at Denarau is not the blue water you typically associate with Fiji however we knew this before going. Denarau is a great place to stay especially if you are short on time and cannot travel too far from the airport. I would recommend doing a day trip to one or some of the islands to experience the clear blue water + snorkelling and other water sports. The Westin makes up for this by providing a beautiful pool and landscape. The Westin was great and having returned home only 4 days ago, we are extremely desperate to get back to Fiji. The only possible negative I can point out is the cost of the food in the resorts however this is the same across all Denarau resorts and not just at the Westin. You can expect to pay a smiliar amount to what you would pay in Australia for food and drinks in the resort however these things are slightly cheaper both at the Marina and in Nadi. Thank you Westin for a fabulous 4 days. We greatly appreciate your hospitality and really enjoyed our time with you. Vinaka!!

My boyfriend had previously stayed Sheraton in 2010 for a wedding and recommended we stay there. It really is amazing. The pool is lagoon style curling around the restaurant and the water is so inviting. There are chairs and bars throughout the pool and a pool bar so ordering drinks is easy and it's so relaxing watching the sun set over the beach while you sip a drink in the pool. The hotel is beachfront so couldn't ask for a better location. The rooms are well-sized and the bathroom we had was very modern, with 2 mirrors/sinks. The service is fantastic, everywhere we went we had the staff yelling out 'Bula!' (Hello in Fiji) and they were more than happy to help on every occasion. The food is quite pricey (more than your average restaurant in Australia) but it is a 5 star resort so I guess it's expected. The atmosphere is fantastic. We went as a couple which was very romantic however it would also suit families and friends alike as it's very safe and child friendly. Will definitely return!

Tucked just behind the palms. The terraces is in a great location. 5 min walk to the Denarau shopping complex/marina and is opposite the golf course. 1 stop on the Bula bus from the shopping centre. ($8 per day or $24 for 5 days. Kids are free) If you are looking for a lavish holiday, choose one of the other resorts. If you are not going to spend a alot of your time at the resort, the terraces is great. Beds are very comfortable, especially after a long day out. There is so much space in the apartments. Would be ideal for families as the full kitchen gives you the option to cook your own meals. Recommend shopping in Nadi (Nandi, as the locals say) town as it is cheaper than the Denarau convenience store. The pool is a nice size. There is a very shallow side for smaller children to swim in. Definitely would require parents to swim with the child however. Try bookme Fiji website for deals on activities (book earlier the better). Grab a yellow taxi was only $30 Fiji from airport.

Nice resort. Great staff. Large rooms, comfortable bed(s) and quiet place. Fabulous sunsets :) I very much enjoyed my stay. I did not have the breakfast included so I added the option at the resort for 35 fijean dollars/day. The breakfast offered quite a large variety of choices. The warm section was different every day of my stay. Great view on the ocean. The pool is small. The resort is 3 km away from the closest village, the bus stop, a grocery shop and a couple of restaurants. 30 minutes taxi drive from/to the airport. 40 Fijean dollars. With local transportation much longer but much cheaper too. 1 Fijean dollar from the airport to Nadi and another one from Nadi to the junction to the resort on Queens road. Then either a good 2.5 km walk or a taxi for 5 fijean dollars. Absolutely feasible with a backpack. The seaside at the resort is nothing special. A small beach. Dark sand. Muddy waters. For a nice beach I would recommend Natadola, 50 km south, close to Sigatoka.

Pros: away from parting backpackers, relaxed private bungalows, great pizzas, very accommodating staff, free snokeling trip to "rocky" reef, great free breaky. Cons: coconut trees everywhere which drop coconuts and palm leafs all the time, very dangerous for us and our small child. Food expensive and other than pizzas not very good. Away from everything so cost at least $10 by taxi to get anywhere. Overall wonderful place to stay, probably best suited for a 1-2 nights of relaxing or as a base for day trips. Much better than Aquarius or any of the cheap hotels in nadi bay. Bottled water at hotel is expensive so stock up at the supermarkets.

Location was great. Clean, quite, friendly staff. A little disappointed. With management.Our US flights out of Nadi is always around 2100. I wanted to check out around 5 or 6 in the afternoon. I was informed to pay half the rate of the day.Last year Sheraton Denaurau let us stay till 5 with no charge. The other thing is It didn’t look like they were fully booked. I am sure management could have a better deal for me. That’s how you get more customers.

Great medium sized hotel, with the best staff who are very helpful and welcoming. The buffet breakfast is a bonus as it is included with the room. Was nice and quiet while we were there, band playing in the evenings, great pizzas by the pool. Rooms were clean, great air con and serviced everyday. Close to Nadi town or Namaka to eat out, shopping which is great. For a few nights lay over before leaving or on arrival, this is a great affordable hotel. And with the free airport transfers an extra bonus, gym and tennis court. Vinaka to all the staff, we will be back :)

I have been to Fiji a few times so know what to expect and can compare this hotel/resort to other nearby options. In general the staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are fine. The downside is the location. To get to shops or anything else you need to get a taxi. Wailoaloa beach isn’t flash compared to what is available for tourists (but note that it is more typical of your average Fijian beach). The upside is that it is a budget sanctuary if you’re looking for: - a pool and a room away from it all - a transit option that doesn’t place you right by the now busy main road from the airport - a budget option that you can use as a base to take day trips to more expensive islands, resorts or Nadi town Note, the free airport transfer to the airport is at set times. Any times outside of these will cost you (when I last stayed the times seemed to be all in the morning up to noon). Get in touch with the hotel before booking if this is an issue for you.

The Palms is a great place to stay the staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are relatively new every thing is fresh and clean. We had booked a one bedroom apartment and were given a two bedroom apartment the main bedroom looks over the Marina carpark and is subject to traffic noise which is relatively light traffic this is my only complaint maybe a bit of sound proofing to block out the noise would be good. I slept in the second bedroom as its at the back of the building away from the traffic but you can still here guests moving around outside, but the beds are comfortable and the linen is fresh. After adjustment I was sleeping much better and definitely woke up refreshed. The apartment has everything you need including fresh Fijian coffee which is great and under rated. Having cooking washing and drying facilities is also great saves coming home with a suitcase of laundry and rooms are also cleaned daily. After visiting Fiji I wouldn't stay outside of Denaru Island and these apartments are great and a cheaper option than the more expensive older hotels available on the island.

Nice rooms ( we had a 2 br family villa with a queen bed in one room, 2 beds in the 2nd room & a large couch downstairs which is where our 13 year old slept. The beds are very nice & firm but the blankets are really old & tattered which is an embarrassment for an otherwise great hotel. The location of the hotel is 15min drive from the airport & is not on a main road so we had to use taxis to go anywhere. Reception can call a taxi anytime you need one & will normally arrive in about 10 mins max. The pool is nice & has a long, steep slide but be careful it's made of concrete & due to its steepness is very fast & can flip you as you come down. My husband got flipped & smacked his temple hard against the end of the slide & got a small gash on his elbow. The restaurant is nice but only manned by one person so it took a bit of time to get our dinner of 5 people delivered. Otherwise quite a serene location other than the loud sound of planes taking off or landing at the nearby Nadi airport.

There’s no other way to experience Fiji than a Sheraton stay. From the beautiful staff to the amazing location with some of the best sunset watching spots to the comfiest beds, it’s everything you can ask for! Villa and Resort both have plenty of things to do to keep kids busy without even leaving the resort. It’s a fun setting for families and also plenty of relaxing spots for adults as well. Feast breakfasts are amazing. Anything you’d want to try out in fiji you’d find in their buffets, one day or another. The feast staff members were lovely too in paticular a staff member that was there during the weekday that would seat us for breakfast, he always had the most pleasant welcome and just made the start of the day a pleasurable one! The daytime security guard at the Villa during the week days was really kind, happy and delightful to come across on a daily. Reception staff were very lovely and helpful. It’s an all round amazing place to spend your holiday, thank you Sheraton Fiji!

This is a nice little hotel located on Queens Rd - the main road through Nadi. It’s is very convenient because: a) It’s on the main route for all the Nadi buses and transfer coaches to both Port Denarau and the Coral coast b) There is a supermarket next door where you can stock up on cheap beer, water and other supplies c) There are several restaurants within a couple of minute’s walk d) Its only about 15mins drive to/from the airport THE GOOD The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning works well. They provide plenty of tea and coffee in the room as well as a small fridge to keep your beer and water cold. The hotel has a nice little pool which is always clean and quiet and pool towels are provided on request. The grounds are kept very well with lovely plants and coconut palms everywhere Both the bar and the food are very reasonably priced with some good daily specials. The Indian curries are always nice but stay away from the pasta! They have an onsite masseur/spa which is cheap compared with the big resorts. Prices for this hotel are very reasonable. Especially considering the room price includes a basic buffet breakfast consisting of cereals, toast, fresh fruit, juice, tea and coffee. THE BAD The free Airport pickup is very unreliable – ALWAYS LATE. 3 out of 3 times for us in fact! They are considered a joke at the airport. Make sure you grab a SIM card from the Vodafone store at the airport and call them as soon as you arrive even if you have booked and reconfirmed your pick up. We were left waiting for 90mins even after 3 phone calls and reconfirmed by email just a few days before. The rooms lack regular maintenance. Each time we have stayed there has been several things wrong or broken in our room. Here are some examples: Twice it was the shower not working properly. Water pressure is particularly poor especially when the laundry is operating. This last time we stayed the shower was leaking at the head leaving just a dribble f

I planned to stay one night here during my 3 weeks in fiji but actually ended up staying for 5 nights and then coming back again for 2 before flying out of Nadi! I absolutely fell in love with all the staff here at tropic and they made me want to stay and come back!! They became my family and so when I came back for the 2 nights at the end, I felt like I was coming home! The beach is lovely, met great travellers at this hostel and enjoyed evening beers watching the sunset. Loved kava and music in the evenings with Rafa and Mossy! Food is great (shoutout to my girl Maria! You're amazing!) and really nice and chilled atmosphere. Easy to go to other hostels around when you want more of a lively place to hang and easy/cheap bus into town and not far from airport. Also thankful for Suli, Niko, Tim, Mele, Flora, and all the other amazing staff, thanks so much guys! I will definetly be back!

This was by far the best experience we could have asked for at the price we paid. We loved the vibe. Since it's hostel/backpackers oriented, it attracted a lot of young people which made the place feel hip and cool. The food was amazing and a really great value. The area is amazing and right on the beach so you couldn't get much closer. One thing I loved was when we would venture out of the hostel and do the various excursions people would ask where we are staying. When we told them Bamboo, it felt like we got a lot of respect from the locals that we were closer to experiencing "real Fiji". There aren't any frills here and NOT a 5-star resort but to have a clean, cheap room available to rest while you explore all that Fiji has to offer, this place is for you.

This place was recommended by one of the workers at Mana Island Resort. We needed a place to stay for one night before we headed back to Nadi Airport the next evening. Like the other reviews, this is a good base before going to the islands or going to the airport. At most I would stay two nights but not more than that especially after staying in other resorts off the Coral Coast and staying in Mana Island. The plus side of this place is that their evening restaurant, Antoinette's, serves absolutely delicious food! Amazing mahi mahi served in coconut cream and homemade ravioli. This food was way better than all the other resorts I've stayed at. The pool was pretty simple but it is surrounded by mango trees. One of the staff members gave us a mango from the tree and it was delicious! We ended getting a couple more. Another good thing about this place is that it's close to other restaurants and the supermarket. The staff was really helpful to book us a day tour to the Sabeto Mud Pool and Hot Springs, Garden of the Sleeping Giant and lunch at a local village before catching our evening flight. Mike, our guide, took care of our luggage and drove us to the various sites as well as take us to the local market to get Kava and then took us straight to the airport. It cost $120 FJD each. (Cheaper if you book directly at Fiji Eco Tours. Ask for Mike.) Tour was well worth it especially since we didn't want to figure out public transportation this time. The lunch at the village was delicious as well! It even included a Kava ceremony. I would totally recommend the day tour. Only suggestion for the hotel would be to add safety deposit box to each room. They had two storage rooms: one for valuables and one for misc. but no individual safety deposit boxes in the rooms. Quite weird. Also their toiletries are cheap so be sure to bring your own.

Many hotels in Nadi do not have a beach. Aquarius is right on the beach next to the pricey Ramada. This two storey, maybe built in the 1950s, is of good value. Staff is great, friendly and helpful. Thank you Annie and Leslie. I’d suggest a power strip with USB slots for charging (I’ve suggested that with all our accommodations). Tv channels were not entertaining but the gift shop has more current movies to watch provided on a USB stick for 2.50 FJD. Onsite restaurant provides a menu of variety foods. A special of the evening includes an appetizer and main for 26 FJD, about $13 USD. Bar drinks, wine, beer, and mixed are available. Pool towels provided.

Novotel Nadi Hotel is just a few minutes from the Nadi International Airport and ten minutes from Nadi town. We got in the hotel from Suva with a drive down (using the Kings road, instead of the Queens, very scenic view), gave the rental to the Thrifty desk (very good staff) I would rate this close to a 4 star resort style hotel and it has got some good traditional Fijian architecture and features. It has a Day Spa (which I wasn't able to use, but seemed quite good), swimming pool, etc. I stayed just 1 night before flying out very early next morning. The hotel has a free shuttle to the airport, which is like 5-min ride. That was one of the key points for me making the booking in the first place. It was quite easy and helped for us to catch the flight. Loved the the grass land surrounding the rooms. We got a nice view of the rainbow, check the pics!! The resort offers good accommodation complete with amenities and services. The room has a decent size bathroom, television, air conditioning, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities etc. quite check the restaurant since there were limited vegeterain options. Nice mountain views, spacious and stylish room we had a balcony parents got a patio (gr floor), all things considered, Novotel Nadi Hotel was a excellent choice with good location and reasonably priced. Would recommend to stay if you are looking to spend more time in Fiji and not only use the Hotel but go outside as well.

Great place to stay staff are awesome very friendly. breakfast is great plenty to eat toast jam juice fresh fruit and tea and coffee rooms are very comfortable bed tv tea and coffee air condinioner ceiling fan fridge. We would stay there again. Meals are really yum I would recommend anyone to to stay at downtown Nadi hotel. Close to the markets and right on the main street close to the temple plenty of shops to see.
