"My friend gave me a wish list for our holiday together with our families; Small and secluded, Accommodation on the beach, My own hammock in privacy, No big high rises with hundreds of people, Swimming pool for the children, Spa treatments, Baby sitting, Good value. And I found it - Toborua Island Resort; After our beautiful boat transfer from the main island, we were greated by staff at the wharf of the island and taken to our well equiped waterside Bure with two loungers, double swing and double hammock overlooking the water. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon listening to the sound of the beautiful Fijian staff signing in their church, it sounded like a choir - it was amazing. The staff continued to serenade us the whole holiday each evening before, during and after dinner, it truly was a wonderful sound. As it's a small resort all the staff remember who you are, which bure you're staying in and which kids belong with who, so it's a personal experience. The bar and restaurant were just 3 bures away from ours, the pool was in the middle of the island and the beach was about 6 bures from ours, everything was so close and the whole island was sand so we walked around bare foot the whole week. We spent lots of time reading books whilst the children swam in the pool or played on the beach or in the sand and water outside our bure, we didn't feel the need to get baby sitters during the day as the children were playing happily we were relaxed even when they were with us. The food was amazing, cooked breakfast, 3 course lunch and 4 course dinner, for which you had the choice of 2 or 3 mains and 2 deserts, the quality was outstanding. Dinner for the children was served at 6pm and for the adults at 7.30pm So we organised baby sitters each night after the children had eaten, the baby sitters were the ladies who worked in housekeeping or the day spa, and they sent the same baby sitter everynight and played with the kids, who had a great time with them. WE WILL BE RETURNI"
