Irkutsk hotels & accommodations

Thanks a lot, Victoria. She, working at the reception of Irkutsk Hotel, called me and tried to arrange hospital emergency for my kid after I told her he got cold injury. She is so worried that I have to comfort her finally. Appreciate her consideration and kindness.

I first stayed in this hotel in 1974; my more recent stay last week confirmed that the rooms were little changed in the 40 years. Furniture and television were essentially the same. However, the staff were excellent and arranged for me an early check - in, helped with directions in the city and provided excellent service during my stay. Wifi was very good and free of e...

I'd stay here again! Comfortable rooms (not big, but sufficient for 2 person), super clean and food at restaurant was delicious. It is a little far from town but pretty near the train station. The staff are great help when we asked for information, and the common toilet is very clean to use if you arrived early or check out early!

I loved this place. It is near the train station, very very clean and the manager is so helpful. I looked for a place that had English speaking reception and I got more than I expected. The manager showed me all around, helped me do laundry and gave me great advice on how to get into the city. She booked me a bus to Olkhon Island on Lake Baikal. The place is very well ...

I have been living and travelling around Russia a lot, but this hotel really made impression. Maybe design of the hotel and rooms is not the best (this a common thing here) but the service was well above the average. Having early morning departure they prepared a breakfast just for me. Nice surprise. Very friendly stuff. Reasonably priced during the weekends.

When I checked in the female staff aren't very helpful, I asked if they have locker that I can use, she said no locker. After that I point to the locker near the main door and said can I use, she said yes. However the male staff is very kind and even helped me with translation to book a train ticket online. The premise is only 8 minutes walk from central market where y...

Wonderful host. I got an email after the booking which had clear instructions of how to get to the building. Very attentive and responsible host. The lady looked after my time when to get out of the door, called me taxi and made sure I don't miss my train. Breakfast was superb. You can see how much effort was put into it So you can have a great start of your day, unlik...

The staff at the reception are very helpful to our enquirers and they helped us a lot in translation when dealing with locals. The location of the hotel is very good, 5 mins walk from the 3 churches in the city centre and the river side, 10 mins walk to the Main Street. Lobby and rooms are clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was extra and average, bring your own coffee. The mattresses are too long for the beds so they bunch up at the head and the feet. They charge extra if you want to store a bag for a few hours after checking out. Shared bathrooms. These were all very minor issues. Overall, not a bad place at an excellent price.

2016 May. The rooms were excellent, very well furnished and Spotless; in a good quiet area. 300 rumbles in a taxi from the train station. You could walk if you know the way as the walk is quicker due to one way streets the taxi has to drive around. But another thing it's uphill from the train station too. It's a 10 minute walk down-hill to the train station if you need...

We loved staying at Berezka. Situation right on the main walking street of Irkutsk, the location could not have been better. The room itself was super cute with nice decor, a skylight and a home feel. The room was also very big, with a big bathroom and a small 'living' setup. Although the staff didn't speak much English, they were very helpful, and with a little help f...

The front desk was very polite and accommodating and gave complimentary internet access because they could not provide early check-in. The food at the restaurant was amazing, especially the Karlian Trout salad and Russian soup. The staff were very prompt and attentive the whole time. Breakfast was also great variety and very fresh. I loved the Bliny (Russian pancake...
