Where to stay in Davao City
Davao City hotels & accommodations

If you're in Davao City and want to spend quality time and need a place to stay that you will enjoy the atmosphere of the local people, Waterfront Insular Hotel is the place to be. I totally love the ambiance inside the hotel, it was really relaxing as if you want to stay here forever. On the negative side, the nonavailability of WIFI in each room in the hotel. So far...

the apo view hotel is really a landmark place and has been a part of history of davao city being here over 60 years. yes the hotel is old but the rooms are nice spacious and clean. perhaps the materials used during construction of this hotel were excellent thats why it still great and you will not mind at all the age. complete with cable tv, mini ref, free coffee , w...

Seda Abreeza is the place to stay if you want to make sure you'll have a good night sleep after a day of walking and strolling. The bed is super comfortable and the windows are big (the boyfriend requires those 2 things and they have it!). Also, they have a smoking area which is rare for hotels in Davao City. I just don't like the fact that an expensive hotel room does...

If you want a place wherein you feel like you are in a English bar, this place is surely a contender. I love seeing so much foreigner in such place in Davao City. The hotel being owned by a British national married to a local, the atmosphere was taken to a higher level. If you're looking to hooked up with a white guy or you just feel horny and want to try a different o...

Pinnacle hotel remains to be our favorite hotel in Davao City. The rooms and beds are spacious. It's just sad that the toilets seem to be unattended, as you can clearly see deterioration and corrosion happening. Internet is also very slow, so they may have to address that. Otherwise, staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is great! And if you have to meet...

After trying many hotels in Davao City I would say that the Grand Regal Hotel is the best hotel for me. Never mine Abreeza or Radisson they are in another class of hotels. But for the P 2,000 - P 4,000.00 range I would say that this hotel is value for money due to its large rooms, fairly good breakfast, location (in the middle of the busy JP Laurel Avenue), close to go...

I booked my stay around Kadayawan Festival Week. Extremely busy but I booked it ahead so it was a very good value for my money. Myself and my 2 teenage children shared the room although it was extremely small for 3 of us, yet we managed to organize our stuff around the room. Easier after staying in a much smaller room in Singapore. Beds and linens are in best form. Air...

If you have the money to experience high class excellence and royal comfort, Park Inn by Radisson is the perfect hotel for you in Davao City. Location-wise, it's amazing since it's literally 20 steps away from one of the newest and largest malls in the city - SM Lanang Premiere. They even have a walkway connected to the mall itself; you won't have to walk under the he...

When in Davao City and we want to go to the beach, we stay at Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort. We know there are other resorts on Samal Island, but after enjoying ourselves immensely the first time we visited in 2009 we haven't had any need to stay anywhere else. Premiere Cottages have better amenities than the Deluxe Cottages and are closer to the beach and othe...

I was expecting less from this hotel because it's a dormitel but it exceeded my expectation. This is close to establishments and attractions in Davao City. The room price was cheap for 4 persons. The room was clean and deodorized. The bed was so comfortable and the size was enough. The lighting in the room was good too. Aircondition worked well except that there was a ...

We really enjoyed our stay at Chema’s. Perfect resort at Samal Island. The resort is only 5-10 min boat ride from Waterfront Insular hotel (Davao City). The location is perfect! It’s easy to locate. We also enjoyed their food especially the halo halo. They will assign 1 staff who will assist you during your stay. If you are planning to go to Talicud Island, I suggest ...

Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. It is situated in a quiet subdivision in front of SM Davao Annex in Ecoland. I booked this hotel at a reasonable price of Php1,300 per night, excluding taxes. The check in was quick, the front desk staff was friendly and there was assistance with luggage when I arrived. I requested for a room on the ground floor via my A...

I love Microtel Davao becauseof its hospitality spirit among the people working there. All from security guards to cleaning boys were extremeley polite and nice. The best point of the hotel is its location. So you can feel the colors of Davao even without lot of moving around, nice restaurants around, junkie food also or Filipino snacks. My favorite actually was a Vie...

Hello! I highly recommend this hotel in Davao city. The staff are friendly and will give you the best service possible. The room is clean as well as the bathroom. My accommodation includes buffet breakfast and I'm giving the breakfast food selections 5 stars. Few things that can be improved is their hot shower, please have it checked because your guests will highly fav...

My friend and I went for a mountain climbing in Bukidnon after 4 days in the mountain we are so tired and are so looking forward to stay in a nice place.. upon checking online we found a nice deal from Agoda and manage to book it right away on the same day.. The Hotel is in perfect Location, near to restaurants and shops, as well as not far from Davao airport. The Sta...

Very good stay in the end. Had booked the last room available in Agoda around this season. I was very pleased that the front desk facilitated my request to upgrade during check in. One of the staff on duty named Andrew has kindly offered to show the rooms first for me to decide and I was very pleased with that as it added a pleasant experience during our overall stay....

Great Stay at this Hotel. The hotel looks not luxury hotel but can feel as luxury hotel. Big Rooms, great surrounding as even you just stay at the hotel you can still find the comfort and relaxing moment. Room very clean and i love my stay at 1st level. Wifi at first level is so slow and lucky i can connect to the lobby so not a problem. Location is great as very near ...

this is the best budget hotel so far in davao city. hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city. considering that this hotel newly operated a few months back, it is evident that this is well managed. all staff were polite and helpful starting from the security guard, check-in counter and housekeeping. the best thing was that i was allowed an early check as i left...

I and my partner stayed for a night only. We got the matrimonial bed since there was a good offer for the room. Matrimonial rooms are regularly priced at around Php 1500+ but we got to book it for only Php 1100. A very good deal. The staff were friendly during our stay. The bathroom was clean and hot and cold shower was available. The location is very strategic since i...

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room is big and clean. The bathroom is okay. The pool is okay but can be renovated or needs re-design to attract more travellers. Even the front and side view of the Hotel exterior needs renovation and re-design. The buffet breakfast is great. And the hotel staff even the guards are all helpful and polite. Although I think we paid...

Excellent hotel, peaceful and stunning setting, if you want quite time in nature with your partner i would recommend this establishment 100%. Beautiful surroundings with stunning views of davao city and the sea, temperature also cooler due to the height, good food, great swimming pool and many activities for the family.

I was originall going to book this Hotel but due to the previous reviews i changed my mind. I came and checked it out whilst i was staying elsewhere. For the price you will be hard pushed to find a better hotel in Davao. Its new and clean. The staff are great once they get to know you. My room faced the street which is busy but quietens down after 10pm. I think t...
Cheap places to stay in Davao City

The hotel is ideal for small budget passengers. Good enough for Php350 I paid with free breakfast, the room I paid for is a non-air-condition room with shared toilet but it was clean and well-maintained. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, Everything is fine and I would highly recommend the hotel for tight budget tourist and it is the nearest hotel in t...

This is one of the best resort I've been so far. If you love adventure, this is one for you. Going to Kaputian is really fun. From Sta. Ana Wharf (Davao City), you'll ride a boat for an hour and ride "habal-habal" (motorcycle) for 30-45mins going to the resort. The moment I arrived there, I know that my long travel is really worth it! This resort has the friendlies...

There was a problem regarding check in procedures. The Hotel Management required me present the voucher or booking receipt. They only allowed me to check in after long discussion and opening of my email wherein it is confirmed that i had a booking with Agoda. I do strongly suggest that it should be arrange in such a way that valid ID will be enough to avail of the res...

We stayed at the 3rd floor and the place looks nice and clean. The staff are very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The location is strategically situated near the famous destinations of Davao City like Jack's Ridge, Matina Town Square, Duterte's House, and pasalubong shops like Lola Abon's and Apo ni Lola. It is relatively nearer when going to Eden Nature Park, Mal...

It’s in the heart of Davao City. Accessible to most tourist spots in the city. It’s also near Roxas Ave where the Night Market is located near Ateneo de Davao University 3 of us booked a family room for 4 and it was a nice stay. There’s WiFi available and the room is clean, same goes for the bathroom. I’m really picky when it comes to toilets and they have clean toil...

Our stay in Humberto's Hotel is unforgettable because aside from its fine location the hotel has a good quality accomodation and friendly services to its guests. The ambiance is very peaceful, you can not hear the noise of vehicles from the streets. The hotel is close to San Pedro Cathedral, City Hall, Park and other restaurants like the eat all you can "Probinsya". ...

As a budget traveler, I feel very happy that I found Berlay that is sooo affordable and located beside the road. I also walk to Abreeza Mall and very safe at night. Two of us stayed at P500 per room, so for P250 a day per person, own bathroom, and airconditioned plus Free Breakfast, just a best deal for me.

The property is situated in the middle of Davao City. It is located in the Poblacion District. It is less than 400 meters away the busy thoroughfare of JP Laurel Ave. near Victoria Plaza Mall. It's just near most of the city's tourist attractions. At first, the hotel was a little hard for the taxi driver to locate because it's inside a village and it's kinda new. The p...

stayed here because it was cheap.i paid 34 usd via agoda.check in was friendly and efficient.the room was quite small and to tell the truth i was a bit disappointed at its appearance of low quality.however it was comfortable and as it turns out a good choice.plenty of hot water.clean and simple is a good description.satisfactory tv english speaking channels. hotel sta...

For me it was still a good location, good value for money, clean rooms and helpful staff my only concern was the water, we have hard time taking a bath since the water in the faucet and shower was too little we are in room F30 by the way and it is located in 3rd floor. But over all I still want to stay here again if ever I’ll visit Davao again... Nice art collection to...

A perfect hotel not just for the value of money but also the staff are friendly amd very honest. I never would thought that i could have my ipod back, when i discover that i did not have my ipod in my bag, i am so thankful that there still honest people working. The staff send me a message that i left my ipod in the room where we stayed for the night, i am so happy tha...

We had a nice stay in Davao City, the hotel is located at the city center so all establishments, parks, stores, even banks are really close to this hotel. The rooms are clean, and they always clean the room, change the linen, towels, etc. If you're on a budget travel, you may want to consider this hotel. The complimentary breakfast are well served. The only problem we...

If you are looking for luxury. Don’tcone Here. This is a quaint little place. The owner is friendly and accommodating. We rent the beach huts. Outside near the seashore. Bamboo beds with mats. Breakfast is good. The bar was right there and small store. CR? Basic Filipino style. The only downfall is this place is located between 2 resorts that blast their music ear de...

They allowed us to check in early without additional charges, which was really nice of them. Rooms smell like old cabinet. Dark hallways. Restrooms/ showers are for sharing, located at the end of every hallway, heaters are not working, need to use a pail of water to flush the toilet. Eeerie at night. Kind of like when you're in an Asian horror flick. But it...

We arrive here earlier prior our time for check in to this hotel. But they were so kind and accomodating upon our arrival and were able to have enough rest and more time to travel around davao city. Hotel is so clean. Very satisfied according to our needs and the location is perfect spot for our destination around...

I stayed with this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights with my mom. The hotel is easy to find. It is along a major road. The place is near SM City (Ecoland) if you enjoy shopping and going to the mall. It is also near the Ecoland Transport Terminal. Outside the hotel are a variety of restaurants to choose from which are just walking distances. The staff are accommodating but...

I like the hotel especially the restaurant in the first floor. The receptionist is very nice and helpful.the only thing lacking in this hotel is no wifi in the rooms. It would be very nice and complete if they have wifi in the room.In my case, im hesitant to book oroderm coz of the average review in agoda but i just tried this hotel for 4 days and I my perception is wro...

Most preferred hotel in Davao City due to the convenience it Offers , I.e; close proximity to Abreeza mall and other establishments. Thank you for making our stay a very pleasant on...

This was a great rental for the price. My in-laws stayed there and really enjoyed their time they had. We had previous hotel booking elsewhere, but still visited the in-laws here, which was convenient being right next door to the large SM Mall with its food courts, and entertainment available. They enjoyed the pool and playground with the grandkids. The area is safe wi...

It's the first time I booked Agoda Homes and it did not disapppoint. Dhines' place was our home away from home in Davao. Host and her team gave detailed instructions so we could check in (esp when we arrived at 3am due to a super delayed flight!) smoothly. The unit is cosy, which we really liked. Location is in Davao's downtown area. Best part, it's just a stone's thro...

This apartment located in city . Every mall and other places were close with this apartment and the owner was really kind. I will stay at this apartment when i go back to davao too. The swimming pool is wide and so beautiful !!! I recommend this apartment!!!

If I have an opportunity to go back to Davao, I'll definitely book my stay in this property once again. First, the space is pretty clean. The caretaker is very accommodating and attentive to the needs of the guest. The facilities within the condominium ground are all accessible and can be viewed from the unit's window. The mall is just 5 minutes walk from the place, al...

Had a wonderful time staying at the accomodation. The place was clean and being able to cook and watch netflix was an added bonus. The terrain of the condo home is optimal for walking and the pool is very nice and well maintained. Will definitely book for future trips and already recommended it to our families and friends. Thank you ma’am!

every time i visit davao city, i always stay at the marco polo davao hotel. i believe this is the only 5 star hotel in davao city. although it is over 10 years already but the hotel is well maintained and looks new. location is the key because it is situated in the city centre. only few blocks of walking and you are right in the chinatown area. the ateneo de davao univ...

Real reviews for hotels
Samal Island is a fifteen minute ride from Davao city and it has beautiful beaches where one can relax.
Davao is safe and has a lot to offer in terms of beaches, attractions, religious interests and so many things that you can try to do in nearby islands.
Davao is a peaceful city but there are still mendicants and some places where people just urinate anywhere.
Worth the look and so close to the beautiful beaches to Samal and Davao City is a very safe, clean city.
Davao has lots of beaches if you love to swim. Hotels are very good and there are several choices. The place is peaceful and safe that you can walk at night even without having to worry
Davao City in Mindanao is listed by most 'Western' countries as a place not to go owing to the risk of terrorism and kidnapping.
The safest province I have been to. I would definitely go back but next time I will visit talicud island
People are very friendly and you'll always feel safe even at night. Taxi drivers give exact change. They have implemented different policies like no smoking in public places, which is for a good cause anyway.
There are so many things you can do when in Davao - whether you are a nature lover, on a business trip, or just having a vacation- Davao is a nice place to go to.
I felt so free to enjoy this place because of the peace and order. No need to be scared to snap pictures anytime and anywhere with your pricey camera phones because noone would dare snatch it from you.
It is one of the Safest, Nicest, Cities in the world.. rated in the top 5.. once you visit here, you'll never want to leave.
Great big city with lots of trees and vegetation, liveable city. Diversified things to do, not as congested as Manila, but soon building the traffic.
One of the safest cities in the world , simple and helpful people. Law abiding. Great place to chill.
A very safe city to visit. I've been multiple times, and plan on visiting again in November for 30 days.
enjoyed our 4 days there, this was a sightseeing trip,I think we went everywhere,I chicken out on the zipline,at the eden nature park, because we just had a very good luch, and I was worried about giving it back.
A large city with stupid unnecessary security. On entering taxi at airport had to stop and give my name to police as I left airport-- ( what good this will do is questionable).
Davao is a shock at first. The traffic is congested and there seems to be no rules. It is very cheap to eat shop and have services like manicures haircuts and dentistry.
I am impressed at how the government implements its laws. The 30 kph and the 60 kph maximum speed being obeyed by the motorists is something awesome.
Best deals in a mall are in Victoria Plaza. Nicest Mall to pasyal is SM Lanang. WS, Unitop, and Lots for Less are the most affordable shopping.
vendors are very helpful. We had difficulty in finding a ride and we started to doubt if we were on the right side to take the public ride.
You shouldn't miss having lunch or dinner at Vikings in SM Lanang, the very wide selection of delectable food items from all around the world at a very affordable price of less than $20.
There are many malls, hotels and restaurants in the city center just like any other city. Places of interest are the crocodile park, Eden Nature park, Philippine Eagle center and the various orchid farms which are all outside the city center.
There are many nice beaches outside Davao City which is just a few minutes boat ride. Do not expect an enjoyable night life in Davao City, bars are allowed to serve drinks only up to 12 midnight and there are no coffee shops, restaurants and bars that allow smoking even in open air.
The locals are really kind and it is easy to go around the city and tourist spots. Taxis are easily available
Possibly the safest city in Asia, thanks to the Dutuerte dynasty. There is virtually no crime. Public transport and taxis are plentiful and affordable, although the traffic is a bit congested.
as with all this type of country it`s very busy, the roads are hard to cross the trafic is very heavy and manic,
I Stayed in Davao for 3 weeks and enjoyed every day of it. The People are very friendly and love to enjoy a few beers and have fun.
By far the greatest city in the Philippines. All types of activities and interests for all ages. Beautiful scenic views and some of the best diving in the Philippines around Samal Island
The city is peaceful and people are quite friendly even the guard in the parks. I love davao museum the most for the accomodating hosts/guides inside.
Beside Makati...clearly the safest and cleanest city I've visited in the Philippines. Very obvious that citizens take pride in the city.
