Find Apartments in Bangkok, Thailand

We visit Bangkok about every 3 months and have tried numerous places to stay. We will definately be returning. Been sitting here trying to think of the negatives (no hotel or apartment is perfect), there are not many. Narrow balcony with no room for chairs (I do like to sit on the balcony and look at the view). Bed a bit uncomfortable, but I asked for and got a topper and then it was ok. The breakfast could be improved a little, the bacon was terrible and I like my eggs cooked to order not sitting around for hours. I avoided the crossants as they looked yuk. But there were alternatives so we did not mind. Wifi slow or not working in room. Decided could be because junta was blocking sites. So these were very minor negatives. So many positives. Great gym with well maintained equipment, very large for an hotel. Best hotel gym I have found in a long time. Great sauna and steam room with showers and large changing room with lockers. We had junior suite which was a good size and very comfortable. Fruit left in room and the snack menu was very cheap for an hotel. Wonderful pool area, water temperature just right for the time of year. Very attentive and friendly staff. Don't know about giving out information as didn't apply to us. Central area with easy access to BTS. You can short cut through Asia Hotel and as you go through the walkway there is a good Japanese restaurant, coffee shop and Puff and Pie - very good salads and yum cinamin rolls, so good we bought some home. We extended our stay another 2 days as we enjoyed it so much. So thank you for a very enjoyable stay, will see you again soon.

It's located in office building area, where you will see banks and government office around. If you are expecting staying somewhere like Platunam whereby short distance to shopping area, this is not the place. However, apart from the location, everything was just simply nice. If you are feeling like staying in the hotel and rest in a quiet place, this would be the place. What makes it more convenient is that, 7-11, Starbucks, Pizza, Local coffee, health and beauty shop and etc, are just within the building. You can just hop off from the bed, get down to the lobby, you can find foods and drinks. There is not need to walk out under the hot sun in Bangkok. Apart from that, staffs are very helpful and we love it here! If you are having a big luggage, suggest to get a taxi or car to reach the hotel.

On my many trips to Bangkok, we stayed in various hotels and areas. The Siri Sathorn was by far the best of both worlds. The location was lovely, clean and hip with 5 star hotels (Sukhothai and Bayan Tree close by), the amazing Lumphini Park and high class condos and residences. But the feel was a quietly quaint neighborhood not a commercial strip. There were a number of really good restaurants within 5 minute walk - both Thai and foreign. It was a short walk to both the MRT and the BTS trains, which takes you almost anywhere in Bangkok. The Sala Daeng stop on the BTS has a fabulous mall, which I used to view on my walks to Bangkok Christian Hospital for my annual check-up but never ventured into it until this trip. The basement has wonderful supermarket surrounded by many quality restaurants and the upper floors has anything that you would need. The two bedroom apartment at the Siri Sathorn was a joy to the entire family; my daughters had their own room and bathroom with large tub and they never wanted to leave it. There was a full open kitchen and counter separating the living room and 3 televisions in the place. Now you could have all that and still have bad service but without exaggeration - the service from the Concierge, front desk, restaurant personnel and housekeeping was the best we ever had in any hotel.

We stayed here twice in a month during our trip in Thailand. Met the owner very nice humble couple with smiles that exactly set example to their staff. From security to reception and housekeeping they greet you with smiles and very polite. We hope they keep their standard and we are looking forward to staying there again next time we visit Bangkok. Worth every penny safe, clean, great services with smiles what else you need!!

The boat linking to!the BTS is excellent, and then the rooms are superb, opt for the Executive Upgrade if offered as there is a lovely full breakfast buffet -Asian, European and Eric, others? The Happy 2.5 Hours when 'executives' come to have a drink and a snack 'pre-dinner' means that if you get up there for an hour and a half or more you don't need to go out as the cocktails, vino and curves a flows and the buffet food is replenished. The sun sets over Bangkok and all is well in the Hilton. The swimming pool is a bit of a game though as the sun is only on one side of the hotel from about 14.00- so there is a polite battle for sunlight space. " don't worry folks, it's coming back tomorrow, trust me!" Recommend this place, we had inadvertently booked in to a big flash apartment only to find it was right by Soi Cowboy- not what we were after in Bangkok but obviously for thousands of sad farangs who wouldn't get a second look back in Europe Bangkok is their dream.. We didnt see any of these chappies in the Hilton but maybe they kept out of the way? Thanks Hilton for making Bangkok memorable and relaxing at night.

I am an American and have retired to Khon Kaen, Thailand where I married a Thai lady. We come to Bangkok every few months and find it much more convenient to stay in the Don Muang/Impact area than in downtown Bangkok. We have found the Miracle Grand to be a high class hotel at a very reasonable price and very convienient to the expressway system to/from Bangkok and the NE and N Thailand. We have stayed at the Miracle Grand several times now and have found it to be a standard for which all upscale hotel should strive. The only issue we have found is the wireless internet provided by TOT flucuates speed depending on the number of users at any one time.

I stayed in this hotel because of my favourite Thai TV series "SOTUS S". The location is quite far from the touristy sites in Thailand, and also quite far from main shopping areas in Bangkok. Access to public transport can be challenging; so, motor taxi or taxi are best options to travel to and from the hotel. However, I am very much impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, and the EXCELLENT SERVICE of all the staff. The hotel is nice if you really wish to experience Thai culture because it is in a quiet neighborhood of locals. Hence, you have easy access to delicious Thai street food.

This hotel was everything it claims to be. We needed to be in this neighbourhood. The staff were very helpful, professional, speak English well. Beds super comfy for Thailand. Breakfast varied Thai/Asian, which is dinner for breakfast, or rice porridge. Good coffee. Clean for a Thai hotel that is only a few years old(typical neglect of cobwebs,water stains and corrosion on fixtures/shower glass and dirty door handles, switches and the like. But, for Thailand,(we live here now) it’s great! We would stay here again.

This hotel is best for staying if u have a connecting flight from DMK or BKK There is a fashion island mall close by which is good for branded shopping stuff if you have some time. Otherwise typical markets and tourist attractions are far from this hotel. This is not a tourist area at all. I didn't find any restaurants with menus in english. Otherwise in Bangkok tourist areas, all restaurants have bi lingual menus.

Customer service - Excellent, all the staff is very helpful and friendly. My husband and I were never left waiting for any service. They are clearly well trained and qualified. Breakfast - An abundance (to the 10th power) of both Thai and Western food. Very fresh and delicious. Although, we only ate there once, we enjoyed leaving the hotel as early as possible to enjoy the city and its street food. The room - Gorgeous inside and out. Architecturally the building is stunning. The decor is grand and tasteful. It is a new building and it shows in the details specially in the room. We stayed in a “superior room”, it wasn’t too big but with plenty room to be comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious, tub and shower great and it was impeccably clean. Roof top restaurant - The “Red Sky Bar” is a great feature in the hotel and perfect for a light-late-night after a busy day out, with comfortable seating set towards the night view of the city. The drinks and food are outstanding, they are really delicious; however, in the expensive side for Thailand standards. The pool area - The pool itself is nice and refreshing, big for a 24th floor pool, but don’t expect good views, all you can see are the roof tops of adjacent buildings (you won’t find it anywhere in Bangkok). Pool bar area is not impressive (the one place they should improve), but the drinks are AWESOME, and thumbs up for the buy one get one “happy hour” special. Location, location, location! Everywhere in Bangkok is really spread out and you will always need to use a car or the train system. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from BTS Siam Station (train station), and anywhere you want to go is just a 15 minute taxi/tuk tuk ride. If you like shopping you can’t find a better place to be, the hotel is in the very center of all the Bangkok giant malls, and it is connected to the Centara World shopping mall.

We loved our four night stay at The Residence and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, upscale stay in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The rooms were spacious and spotless with great facilities and a comfortable bed, and the kitchenette and washing machine came in very handy (only bummer was there was never enough hot water to have a bath, so we didn't get to use the gorgeous tub). Decent selection of English cable TV channels too. The rooftop pool area is awesome, and we spent most mornings after breakfast up there swimming and lying by the pool reading before heading out for the day. There is a great sauna and onsen but unfortunately it's only available for the men, so my boyfriend was loving it while i was pretty disappointed. There is also a water cooler in the gym area which helps if you're like us and want to limit your use of buying plastic water bottles. The breakfast is served in a hip cafe where you get high Western standard cafe meals like eggs benedict, french toast, lattes, etc, plus small buffet of extras, which was a highlight and one of the best breakfasts i've had a a hotel in Thailand. The location is about 20-30 mins walk from the BTS station, but it's a very pleasant walk with no touts, just a nice stroll through one of bangkoks more upscale neighbourhoods with plenty of massage, restaurant and street food options. Tuk tuk will take you from the hotel to the station, and coming back you can just jump on one of the motorcycle taxis which is a lot of fun and will only cost you 20 THB to the hotel door. Overall, this was our favourite hotel in Thailand during this trip over the Christmas period and we would definitely return, and highly recommend it.

The Furama FX Hotel at Sathorn, was a perfect way to end our Vietnam via Thailand holiday. After a week of slumming it out in Vietnam, the Furama FX offered exactly what we required - comfortable stay, reasonable rates, proximity to the Bangkok nightlife and food-streets. There was a slight goof-up on arrival, when one of the two rooms booked, was unavailable due to a late guest check-out, but a stern line took care of that, and we were upgraded to Superior rooms. I'd call that good customer-service. Good, spacious rooms and the hotel even has a good Spa at the entrance for those tired bones. Recommend a stay while at Bangkok.

Livotel is only 5 months old, so everything in the rooms is very new. The beds are thick, large and incredibly comfortable, with crisp bed linen, and (important for me) the pillows are soft and just the right size (not too big), so I could get a good sleep every time. The design of the rooms is tasteful, modern, somewhat minimalist, with well thought out lighting which wont strain the eyes, and well positioned plug points. Ample storage space in modern wardrobes, and quiet efficient aircons. You get cable TV on big LCD screens - tip: you can plug a USB stick in and they'll play any movies from your hard drive, with intuitive interface pretty easy to figure out. Unfortunately they have FOX news, which sucks even more than I remember it, but luckily you can change to say Al Jazeera before you feel too nauseous. Reception was efficient, friendly and helpful. i often work nights, and the thick curtains blocked sunlight when sleeping during the day. I could not believe the value for money offered. I was planning a couple of nights but stayed a week and would stay longer. It feels like a fully set up apartment, and in future i may well spend an extended period here. Suited my needs perfectly and I have no complaints. Good luck livotel ! - Lee

Very pleasant stay. We had booked a room in the Sky Zone but due to over-booking were upgraded to the top Space Zone, on the 67th Floor. Room was excellent, very large, very comfortable beds plus all the usual fridge, flat screen TV, safe etc. L-shaped room, one part was a dining area with a glass dining-table and 4 chairs, another area with a large sofa and armchair. Excellent large bathroom with high pressure large shower. And of course the highlight, the magnificent views over Bangkok through an approx 10metre floor to ceiling window. Our room was on the North side so overlooked more residential areas rather than the downtown available on the South side, but we were happy with that. Décor was somewhat dated but not a problem, still looked clean and comfortable. Location was just about as good as you can get in Bangkok being within easy walking distance of Central World, Siam Paragon, Siam Square, MBK, Gaysorn, Pratunam clothing district plus Panthip Plaza IT Mall. Bit crowded but if you want to shop, you can't beat the Baiyoke Sky Hotel! Unless you have heavy bags, it is also within walking distance of the new Airport Link Makasan City Terminal. Also easy walking distance to other Skytrain Stations. Staff were friendly and efficient. They even, without my asking, arranged for a cake and some fruit to be sent to our room for my wife as it was her birthday. Breakfast was in the Baiyoke Sky restaurant on the 78th Floor so great views with breakfast. One of the best breakfast buffet selections I have ever had with dishes from Thailand, Japan, China, India, Europe and the US so plenty of choice. Quality of the food though was not so brilliant but perfectly acceptable. Same with the same restaurant at their evening buffet, great selection, though food not brilliant, but acceptable. However the Stella Palace Restaurant on the 79th Floor was brilliant, food excellent, well worth trying.

This was my second visit. When I thought it couldnt get any better than my last visit, it did. If the standard room was luxurious the Junior suite was even better. The photos dont do it justice. Not only is it the size of an apartment, it has polished floorboards, new furnishings, air conditioners in both rooms, a standard sized fridge, toaster, microwave etc. And although just a stones throw from busy Sukumvit. it is completely soundproofed and overlooks greeenery. The mainly Philipino staff speak excellent English, are discreet, friendly and do a fast check-in {as well as remembering me from my visit in April). The breakfast had the option of a freshly coooked dish in addition to the comprehensive buffet. My only regret was that I could only stay one night. The location is central, the airport rail link is in walking distance as is the MRT and BTS. There is a 7/11 on the corner and a pizza an icecream parlour 100m down towards the station. My best experience of Bangkok by far - this is a hotel that simply ticks all the boxes. If Agoda offers an upgrade, take it!

Novotel at Siam Square Hotel is said to be the hotel with best location in Bangkok. 1. In terms of location, it is located in the central business area, convenient to go by MRT (Bangkok Metropolitan Railway Train). It is located in the Siam Square where it is heart of Bangkok I can go everywhere with bus, taxi, and MRT. It is about 1 min by walk to BTS (Bangkok Transit System). 2. services-wise, this hotel is full equipped with various services including liquor bar, restaurant with Thai , International, Chinese, and Japanese foods. Other than that, you can enjoy the swimming pool, spa and exercise room . The staff her is said to be the best in town, with 24 hour room service. I can order some supper when I work late at night,or when I am busy with my job. 3. Pricing is also said to be reasonable with this type of hotel. It is cost effective compared with value I get . 4. High –class shopping center . The hotel is equipped with Siam Paragon ， Siam center, Central World (the best shopping plaza and Central department store in Thailand. I can rely on eating and shopping without much effort of traveling to other places.

A great new build (6 mths old) hotel situated in the heart of Ban Kaphi, Bangkok. Not being fans of Bangkok we were pleasantly surprised. This hotel is located in a side street just off main road in a clean and quiet upcoming area with a couple of bars and restaurants. The hotel was excellent with standard basic rooms, A/C etc, spotless clean with clean beds and bed linen. We didn't book breakfast when booking and paid separately for this and it was cheaper. Breakfast was buffet style and more than adequate. We would stop here again and were so chuffed with our find. You really would not know that you were in the heart of Bangkok.

PP@Hotel is a nice place to stay if the only thing you want to do is relax before your flight and don't need to go to Bangkok Center (which we had to), which is quite far, at least 300 THB with taxi, and it also took a while from the airport, around 30 minutes and 150 THB. Getting to the airport only took 10 minutes though around 8.00 AM. Rooms and facilities are clean and fresh, and the swimming pool seemed inviting (no time to try though) and the staff is friendly and helpful. Can definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful hotel. Although it might not be a 4 star hotel on any lists, it seems like a 4 or 5 star hotel disguised as a 3 star. It has very large rooms, with king size beds. The carpets and interior of the rooms are so clean, with beautiful art deco present in every room and hallway. It has a strong emphasis on the artistic side of decor. My room had a beautiful view of the city, for miles and miles. As a building, it is not among many tall buildings; this one just suddenly appears among a standard local culture district, with standard Thai food shops along the street. But only a few blocks away is a very big restaurant and shopping area called Asiatica, which is like a truly international food court. Asiatica reminded me of restaurant and shopping areas in California! Same kinds of great breweries, restaurants and establishments, including a French restaurant and many affordable Thai restaurants. Room comes with refrigerator, and various amenities. Above all, the room is huge, and a beautiful clean white with art on the walls and a TV ready to go. Great climate control. Room did not come with free breakfast, but apparently, some do. Very fast and easy check in. I happened to be there for their Festival of Lights religious holiday and so this Asiatica shopping area and the street Tongtara is on were truly packed with people. Taxi driver and hotel staff reassured me it is not always like this!! But this is a beautiful hotel, which not only has huge rooms, a sense of art and large beds. It seems to be a 4 or 5 star hotel disguised as a 3 star hotel in a 3 star area!!

I had experienced a great time at Bangkok City Hotel, Thailand. It had successfully provides a 4 star facilities & services eventhough it rated as 3 star hotel only. I was happy to stay with friends during vacation. I'll recommend to the travelers surround me if they wish to have a trip to Thailand. And I'll continue to support the hotel if I have a chance again. However, there are some comments that I would like to raise up which hotel may take into consideration to improve the hotel service in the future. Firstly, the hotel staffs (reception) didn't present a friendly behaviour to the tourists like they used higher tone of volume to answer the tourists' questions during peak time. Inteed, staffs need to be more be careful next time to avoid the overlapping room booking mistake so that the conflict between customers and staffs can be reduced. Last but not least, if possible; extend the area of breakfast space to avoid overcrowded condition especially during breakfast time. So, I wish that hotel can always serve with the top services & facilities, and more effective man power. Thanks.

This is the best hotel I have stayed in during my 2 trips to Thailand. My fiancee and I truly love this hotel. The lobby and rooms are clean and spacious, the staff friendly and outgoing, the restaurants are clean with a diverse menu, and every dish is wonderfully prepared and served. To top it off this hotel is located in the middle of the exciting downtown life. Connected to the Air train and an easy walk or cab drive to so much that Bangkok has to offer. I have been spoiled by this hotel so much that every other hotel has been a sad disappointment. When in Bangkok, this is my hotel.

I had two separate stays at new Skyview in the last two weeks! The staff are attentive, pleasant, professional and well trained. This is a 5 star hotel by American standards. I suspect the rates are low since Skyview is a new hotel and not well known. The location is EXCELLENT. My 2nd stay was in the Club Grand Executive King, which is a beautiful suite with a two person soaking tub, large shower, double vanity, large bedroom and very comfortable bed (well suited for honeymooners or a couple). First stay was in the standard room which also was great, just smaller and no tub. Well appointed, fast WIFI, great weight/exercise room, and clean, clean, clean. Had a great steak dinner (best in Thailand) at the onsite Prime Steakhouse. Breakfast is a full buffet with plenty of choices, fresh juices, egg station, pancakes, waffles, fruit... Only negative was that the Skyview lounge on top floor was not opened yet. This is easily my favorite hotel. I will stay here every time in Thailand. My thanks to the management, you've earned a perfect score in my opinion.
