We has lovely stay in this hotel, located on small peninsula. We are surrounded by see almost 270 degree and it gave you a feeling that you are sailing. The room was nice and clean. The hotel have a nice garden around it and it is a pleasure to walk even in night. The breakfast was great, combination of both local dishes and popular international ones, thus there was something for everyone from the buffet style breakfast. There are nice view from the balcony as well as small wooden bridges around the hotel. We recommend this hotel. There are many activities for family with children too.

Old,crowded, touristy hotel that is overrated and too expensive ”
This hotel running by the Intercontinental was not worth the expensive price at all. You don’t get the service you expect from an intercontinental hotel. Lobby was busy and crowded. Checkin waiting time was long unless you were their hotel club members. Classic room view was poor, mostly looking over the car park with minimal sea view. We were shocked after we finally got to our room but the checkin staff said ‘the room floor was already upgraded’. Unbelievable. Room was dated. Furniture was old. Though it’s clean, there was stain on the carpet and sofa, and there were scratches on different furniture. The property is very large, requiring pickup to go to the car park and beach. There’s a floating water park at the beach but unfortunately you need to pay for it and it’s also mainly for kids. As for the pools, since it’s accessible right from the lobby. It’s only natural that guests bring in lots of sands and water to the lobby so the lobby floor near that side was often wet which didn’t feel like a high class 5 star hotel at all. The pool wasn’t well maintained either. Pool water wasn’t clean enough and there was lots of sands inside the pool. You could literally feel the sands with your feet when you stand in the pool. This hotel may be a hotel for families as there are many facilities for children but it definitely does not worth the high price given its service and quality. No exclusive service received at all. The whole place crowded, old and touristy. The price they charge in August is the same as a high class onsen hotel where you could have enjoyed exclusive services and attention for details.
