If you a cyclist, then it's perfect! You can bring up your bike! Stayed here a few times, great location friendly staff and clean! The prayers calls can be a bit loud as it's just beside a mosque! A great alarm clock for sure for like me who's always up very early!!!

Very spacious room, last minute booking price was only 170. Location is very strategic, the best part is that it's right next to the Melaka River, you can have cendol at Kg Hulu just beside the hotel in the evening. There are also many food stalls nearby. The historical Kampung Hulu mosque is just opposite the hotel, less than 50 meters away. The only problem is that you have to be patient when parking and make a few rounds, but it's not a big issue.

The location of the hotel is very strategic at the city centre. It is only about 800 m away from the Stadthuy (A Famosa), and is about 500 m away from the famous Jonker Street. The Melaka River is just behind the hotel and it is accessible from the hotel. There is a lot of good food and restaurants within the vicinity of the hotel. Basically, this is the plus point of the hotel. The negative sides of the hotel are: (1) limited parking lot. The hotel has only very few car parking lot, and they are always occupied. (2) the hotel is converted from shop lot. Hence, the lift lobby and etc is very narrow, the signboard is unclear. We can easily lost our way. (3) the wifi is free, but it is not working.; (4) the cleanliness of the room is poor. I would rate below 3 points upon 10. It is smelly when we first entered the room; (5) there are piles of used and dirty towels place in the basket at the lobby- i feel very uncomfortable with it; (6) there is no complimentary water or drink in the room; (7) the hotel requested deposits upon check in, although refundable. I am doubt as I have already make the full payment online; (8) the staff is not helpful. They rejected my request to send the hairdryer to my room. Imagine if I were alone, I need to go to the check in counter to pick up the hair dryer in wet. Luckily I asked my husband to pick it up; (9) since the hotel is near to eateries, it is very noisy until midnight. My kids cannot sleep well. The hotel needs to improve seriously on their facilities and management. I would not return to this hotel in my next visit to Melaka. My family and I deserve a better stay! Anyway, thank you for your hospitality while we were there.
